The difference between 73-9 gsw and Kd gs is that he's the only player who can matchup up with the Bron offensively and defensively. Steph is the a game changer but he can't go head to head with Bron

I heard this somewhere and it makes a lot of sense. That Kd is the GS insurance policy for bad reffing. They don't need him most of the time. But when the NBA needs parity in the playoffs, and allows other teams to nullify Steph by swallowing the whistle, that is what he is for. It was apparent in game 3 of this years finals. Steph was getting assaulted off ball (calls that any player in the playoffs should get) and couldn't get anything going whatsoever because of it. So Kd did his thing and went iso.

Raphael Jerome what does that have to do with anything. He is the glue of the team. He’s the most impactful, they don’t win without him. He’s the two time mvp (unanimous) he’s a 3x champ (more than Durant). Even Durant said out his mouth this is stephs team and he can’t do it without him. So don’t make dumb statements.

I wouldn't call a different opinion idiotic when we haven't seen them play one game. We don't know what system they will run. The young players are unproven in big moments. Generally teams take about half the season to build chemistry with Lebron. Lebron does make their team better, but this is the western conference, where most of the teams have gotten even better. Plus you have 2 extra playoff contenders in Dallas and LA, driving the number of wins required to make the playoffs down a few games. I would guess they will be right in the middle of the pack with 45 wins.

Steph Curry is a different level player, he goes under the radar but he has led his team to the finals even without KD and should have had that championship where they were up 3-1. Just looking at him in his eyes he's got alot more mental strength than Lebron or Kevin Durant.

adfadsfas not really , the town belongs to Curry , there's a reason why fans at oracle chant MVP when Curry is at the freethrow line. He's the fan favourite and who's jersey is selling number 1 in the NBA? Its Curry. At the end of the day it will never be Durant's team , no analyst has ever said the warriors is Durant's team they have said Durant is the better player but that's it. Besides all the stats point to the warriors being better when Curry is on the floor. Durant is just lucky Curry is an unselfish superstar who was willing to share his spotlight.

Regardless of what Durant does he will always be second to LeBron or his teammates on the warriors. He has only played this well because he's on the stack warriors. Durant has a losing record against LeBron before that. Most of the time when Durant has really bad games his teammates are so good they can still win without him. To.me it's no credit to Durant. The league knows that Durant was avoiding LeBron before the move to warriors. He had the chance to go to Washington and wouldn't do it.

He had a losing record to Steph Curry also. I hate how people make it seem like Durant is ay better than Steph. Their stats last year are identical. Durant just gets more rebounds. But in the advanced metrics, Steph is better, and more impactful to the team winning and efficiency. Just because he didn't get Finals MVP doesn't mean Steph is any less of a player.

What does Durant do better than Steph that is worth more than what Steph does better? I've been measuring a bunch of NBA players side by side using league averages and standard deviation. They are identical pts per game. But everywhere else Steph is more efficient. He scores more playing less minutes. He has better shooting %. Steph's Player Impact Estimate is higher. Has a higher offensive rating. The intangibles are unquantifiable, but we know Steph impacts the rest of his team more than Durant does. If you think Durant is better because he is taller, then I can't argue with that, except Steph is amazing at doing the things he does being shorter.

Warren Mazengwe ...There is this thing called 'defense' in basketball in case you didn't know which they have to play half of the time during the game...let's say KD and Stephanie are roughly equal on offense (I think KD is better). Even then KD is on another level on defense compared to Stephanie...far superior on defense..you just a Stephanie fanboy.

You're in the wrong year; Shannon's assertion is likely correct. Also, if you are going to say that the Cav's championship was a fluke due to injuries, is it safe to say that the Warrior's first championship was a fluke for the same reason and therefor evening out those 2 years? Besides, injuries and suspensions are a part of the game. Being able to have mental & physical toughness has to count for something.

Thank you. Not even to mention how much they dominated them during the regular season with Cav's FULLY HEALTHY. Golden State beats the Cav's 70% of the time. Warriors have two 7 game winning streaks against them. One of them was even before Durant got there. And might I add they average 18 point differential against them in their wins also, especially before Durant got there. But noo, everyone wants to focus on the 3 games Cleveland won for the championship making it seem like Lebron got the Warriors number.

Kyle Cody nope wrong. The gsw proved it wasn't a fluke when they went 73-9 and they were literally running the Cavs out the gym before their roster was decimated. When both teams were full strength the gsw were destroying the Cavs. That's a 100% undeniable fact. Both teams fully healthy warriors 3-1 after suspension and injures 0-3. Like I said the Cavs ring is a fluke. Yes they won it it's nothing to brag about.
