It's not an excuse, it's just saying what happened. There is always a reason behind what happened. If LeBron shot the ball with left hand and missed, Chris would say that's what happened. Stating what happened shouldn't always mean excuse, I think excuses are when there is more bias and arbitrary, like maybe if they said he is injured, that could be viewed as an excuse, because it's basically a guess. But lifting off the wrong leg is literally what happened, and reporting it is not an excuse. Needless to say, that's LeBron's fault and he should have jumped off the right foot 😂😂

That's not what they're saying. They're just saying that all NBA players are capable of making great plays. It's the consistency that determines if they are superstars. Hezonja made a great play, doesn't mean he's a star, but it's also very possible. And nobody said missing 11 shots is great and regular, but it happens over the course of a long career. niners fan and thunder fan Unfortunately it only goes back to 1997 so it doesn’t have MJ’s full stats. Just 97 & 98 Bulls yrs. I had to rewatch the finals games again and manually put down his clutch stats. But you can look at LBJ’s but you have to go yr by yr and add them for the totals. Unless you go to basketball reference (it only goes back to 2001) and go to LBJ’s shot finder, score within -5 pts and 5 and it finds it for you but you still have to count to add them up.

He only tells half the story bc the full story would be that LBJ isn’t as clutch as MJ especially in the finals. MJ was clutch in any series, throughout the playoffs. I got to watch MJ live against the Bucks in 1990 in Milwaukee. Bucks were up one in the closing seconds. Bulls had the ball. Jordan drove, drew a double team and kicked it to a wide open Brad Sellers for a baseline jumper and the win. "Hero ball" can be deadly if the pass is an option and the "hero" knows what he's doing.
