yes you can't outscore or out shoot GS especially in the playoffs you need to get stops. if you get stops you give yourself a chance going at them in a offensive slug fest doesn't help you because you become fatigue on the defensive end. if you use most of you're energy getting stops it makes it easier to beat GS. defense wins championships and GS is the champion to beat you have to play smart efficient strategical basketball to beat them. you can't go with a muscle type of attitude trying to outscore or out shoot them you're basically setting yourself up for a loss.

Julius Hare Yeah... but they are not going to be starters, therefore they are not going to improve that much. When you pick James and Rondo, you know you are not going to build a young team, you are trying to compete with players that are READY! Magic has to make a choice, he can't keep youngsters and those two veterans, and think they are going to mesh, because it's not going to happen. With Lebron James is always "all-in or nothing", Lakers fans are going to learn that the hard way.

No I’m not saying he better than CP3 but he is GSW best bench player on top of that they swap there line up in game 4-5 looney was not ready for the rockets. Put iggy in his place he a walking 10-12 points with lock down defensive. Don’t believe me. Fully healthy (with CP3) warriors blew them out by 40 stop the madness. With iggy easy 4-1 or 4-2

Rondo is a very good PG but it all depends on him being "happy". If he's not content he quits. Lance makes is no difference-maker, he loves the ISO ... In my opinion, unless they're looking for trades, signing Rondo and Lance only hinders the further development of Ball, Hart, Kuzma and Ingram AKA their young core

I’m saying his effort and desire depend on him not being the drama queen he has been in DAL and CHI. Lance is annoying not tough. I love this get physical narrative.. Like its ok for them to foul incessantly. Be physical and muck up the game. But if Draymond does this its an issue. It's ok to rough Curry and Klay up off the ball. So tired of this rough up the warriors game plan. Yes, allow Cleveland, er, the Lakers to get away with fouls all game. Sure they will get a game or two.. I do think if they play solid defense they have a better chance. However, playing that type of defense will not allow the Lakers to play good enough offense to win games. Also Lebron is not even into that kinda of defense at this stage in his career. And jump shooters are not going to make every shot on a pass they get from Lebron. Like they are going to shoot 60% off his passes...lol smh. Also Skip....Cleveland was not going to have the Warriors on the ropes 4 games. No that was not going to work.

Ephalanx I would honestly be scared at this point to be a warrior in the sense that; The league is feeling pressure from the viewerbase, they may potentially allow ( if they haven't already) more physical play going against them. Getting the officials to hold that whistle a little bit. We've seen Curry getting held all playoffs consisistently without calls. The NBA front office is in a hard position because of the casual fan mob.

Watching that WCF final it was easy to see that Houston was getting into GSW minds with cp3 and others playing tough. I think this is a smart move by the Lakers, I just worry that they are planning for a warriors match up too much and forget they will probably have to go through other teams first. For instance, if the Celtics had won the ECF, I think their playstyle would counter GSW and they would have been able to make it 6 games, maybe even win with Kyrie and Hayward honestly...

I just love how everyone is underestimating us. Lebron almost beat the warriors by himself game 1 and we have a FAR better team than last years cavs. He's never played with a wing like B.I., point guard like Zo, and a core like the one we have. The rockets and blazers got worse and the other teams arent as deep as we are. You heard it here first, 2019 WCF will be Lakers vs Warriors

As a Lakers fan I don't want Lebron.. he'll never be Kobe or Magic. His statue will be built no where because he has a bad legacy and team hops. Why should Cleveland give him a statue or retired jersey when he brought them 1 championship in 11 years. Why would Miami give him either when it was Wade county while he was there those puny 4 years. He will only play 3-4 years in LA and will win 1 title at the most in that time while Kobe played his whole career there with 5 championships, 2 retired jerseys, and the respect of the people. Lebum has no true home in the NBA.
