Do y’all even realize how good this was? Nobody in the music industry has ever been able to do MJ justice besides Chris Brown. Pay respect when respect is due
@@decebianhunter7717 The reason he's not appreciated is because he keeps acting like a fool. He's AMAZING as a dancer, singer and an actor. But his actions are so ridiculous that they don't want to work with him like that so much. He's too volatile.
Sweet As Coffey maybe folk need to quit bringing up his past every chance they get like it’s gonna change anything. I didn’t know everybody was so perfect to be judging someone off their wrongdoings from 11 years ago
@@decebianhunter7717 , unfortunately this is USA, if you mess up, it is never gonna go away! That's why if you're unlucky to go to jail, you'll struggle to find a job anywhere! It doesnt matter if you become a saint! it is like once a thief or thug always and forever a thief and thug! Same applies to any other crime. in Chris case, that faithful night with Rihanna changed his life and career completely! it will never go away no matter what and it is really sad because he's an amazing dancer and is so talented and is gifted with beautiful voice!
Best BET Tribute and arguably one of the best BET performances EVER imo. Chris Brown is the only person that can do MJ justice imo he was moving almost identically to Michael. I’m sure MJ would be proud
I never forget this young man was on the stage just crying after Michael passed away. Chris loved him so much as we all do as a collective. Chris pays homage to his hero. Much respect Breezy. ❤❤❤🔥🔥🔥
#Real, Lord have mercy. I feel you, That evening was sad. My eyes kinda welled up, I felt Breezy on that. He came up watching Michael Jackson since he was 2, ya Babi was crying ancient childhood tears. I know what that's like, ache ya soul, body and mind. I'll never get over Michael, I'll never stop emulating him, he was too much.#. The 1930s Michael Jackson 🕵🏼♂️🕵🏻♂️💩🌚🖤🖤
Alot of ppl was crying its Michael jackson he had all kinds of fans besides chris brown but I do know he was hurt but so was alot of other artists he impact
@@mar2smooth54 you literally in every comment like stop being a hater and go somewhere. I swear people like this are dumb, you giving a Chris Brown fan (the guy that you hating on) views like- 💀
Kircinnamon stfu you Chris brown fans think his mj status when he’s obviously not come back to me when cb is known globally and has 800+ awards oh wait he has none
Boas Vibes Legendas I dont know. Real michael jackson doin choreography. But miss brown doin reverse and own dance. Please compare No offen or anything
The greatest tribute performance of all time. I only pray that another awards show allows the 2nd coming of MJ to perform a tribute to his idol once more…
Chris did it better not gonna lie, every move was coordinated and precise. Even when they compared MJ to Chris dancing Chris positioned himself extremely well compared to MJ. But MJ surely paved the way for young people to come up and Chris deserved the spotlight
I wanna cry so bad Chris Brown did my MJ justices. The love Chris had for Michael shows through his dancing. So beautiful and yet flawless. God blessed you sweetie
Thanks, anytime I saw you Guys comments on my post you guys makes me happy and strong, Feel free to view my channel you will see my private email, please don’t give out the email because of security reasons
Is it weird that I sometimes come back to this video and start sobbing? I don't think people understand.. after MJ died it was hard for a lot of us.. and then to see Chris perform this 2 years after his death.. it was huge.
I always tell people that Chris Brown truly could have been a super mega star, had he not made some mistakes in his youth. Aside from his faults, he’s pure raw talent. No one else could have done this better!!!
Pasted my dear yes he made mistakes when he was younger but that is not holding him down Look where he's at now up on them chart's right right you know that is true but to say because of his passed come on now he's doo a hell of a good job for what he was born with and thanks to Almity God that drezzy is very very very intelligent I don't know what you are thinking but he is doing good for his children okay
He is a mega star but I get what you mean. He is already big but he would be so much bigger. But it is amazing he was able to build his career back up after that incident.
For me, this is the second best moment in BET Awards history-- coming in right after Michael surprising everyone and honoring James Brown. He practically embodied Mike in this performance. Give that man his flowers!
MJ inspired a lot of people, Chris Brown, Bruno Mars, The Weeknd, Drake, Usher... to name a few have all said about his influence on them and I’m in no doubt he inspired an entire generation. To compare MJ to any musician living now is a great injustice to what he did to the music industry. But by all means, this was a great tribute, and a fitting tribute to someone who obviously meant a lot to him. Great job CB!
|SHONUFF!!! SO IS BRUNO MARS, KANYE WEST, THE WEEKEND AND ERR BODY THAT GO EVEN A LIL HARD AT WHAT THEY DO!!!! THEM JUST FACTZ, IF YOU GO HARD BRUH,YOU CAN CALL YOURSELF WHO EVER YOU WANT,BUT ONLY IF YOU GO AT LEAST A "LIL" HARD......|. |FINNI AKA MICHI|
Well he did kind of he performed thriller for Michael Jackson in 2006 at Michael Jackson lifetime achievement award show and both walked on the same stage together let me send you the video link
No one can ever compare to Michael. They are performers, you can see that every step is learned and it's hard to look at it even if it's done very well. Michael had incredible flow of movement, you can see that everything flows from his heart. However, I am happy that so many artists give his way. Mike is an inspiration for many people, not just from the world of art. Michael is my inspiration in everyday life. It's like a light that illuminates my path.
100%. Chris brown is the closest we will ever get to Michael Jackson, no one’s giving CB his flowers due to his mistakes which is sad. He’s changed a lot now.
Thank you Chris Brown for the tremendous respect for all our hero ... but ya know ... Michael was n is n will always be untouchable... no one can recreate that charisma, energy ,vibe,emotions... he the KING 👑❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
chris brown obviously put some of his own flavor to it his a great dancer himself he couldn't help it and i doubt MJ is rolling in his grave . Great performance just enjoy it .
I think Chris Brown is a very good impersonator of Micheal Jackson. It is so good that Artist of today like Chris Brown and others want to keep Michael Jacksons' memories Alive.
@@King-fx9pk You are right, I saw MJ’s hair in that curtain silhouette. 0:06 Also, the fit of the clothing and body type aren’t the same, once the curtain lifts.
MJ was an artistic legend. Voice. Dance. Choreography. The WHOLE package. Dancing like MJ is extremely difficult. EPIC level of difficulty because that style was so natural to him. Chris did amazingly well. Should be proud. Mad respect.
Chris is a bit taller so its impressive for him to move like that. Michael is Michael... Can't be beat lol. But Chris really did it justice. Still gives me shivers. Great performance ⭐⭐
I will never forget when I saw this for the first time. It was crazy because I almost thought MJ had came back for a second. This right here solidified Chris’ icon status. Swear nobody could have done this better and nobody can ever touch it. I know MJ was smiling down on Chris prouder than ever ❤️❤️
#You hater. Get some love in your life. NNO ONE IS A NOBODY, you a lie. Chris IS close to MJ, most of the world at large no that, hence why he was hand picked for the tribute. Speak facts and not opinions, he is the MICHAEL JACKSON of this generation because every generation has them. No one cares about your negativity. I love 💖 you, I respect you, please go some where and sit down. Try loving on people like Christ instead of trying to tear down, I'm sure if Chris saw this, he would laugh. It would literally be funny to him. Big fine, do something with yourself, Let it not be hate.#. The 1930s Michael Jackson 🕵🏼♂️🕵🏻♂️💩🌚🖤🖤
I can honestly and truly say he has gotten his life together since then. Had more children and, graffiti’s more, and making more banging music! Much love to you BREEZY!!!! ❤❤❤
Mane I live for Chris brown n this is why. He shows nun but his heart on his sleeve when he on stage and anywhere else. And part of the reason I love Michael he was the same way. RIP king of pop, rock,n soul. ❤️🙏🏽
CHRIS BROWN IS YET THE BADDEST IN THE BUSINESS RIGHT NOW, CAN'T NO ONE DO IT LIKE CHRIS CAN , SO STOP HATIN ON THIS YOUNG MAN AND GIVE HIM HIS FLOWERS AND PROPS NOW Y HE'S STILL AMONGST US DON'T WAIT UNTIL HE 'S NO LONGER AROUND TO SAY THAT HE WAS ONE OF THE GREATEST ENTERTAINERS OF ALL TIME...!!! WAY2GOCHRISWAY2GO)
I always come back to this video , I also think ppl tend to forget this was one of Chris browns first performances after the “incident” when he was black balled. I think the crying and breaking down was more then just him missing Michael. It was a time were he really had to look in the mirror and own up to his mistakes. I remember this like it was yesterday after the industry seeing him break down and cry it’s like they opened him back with open arms
I respect the fact that the Jackson family went and got him to perform the next year cause Jay Z blocked the previous year because everyone knew he was supposed to do the tribute that year of Michael Jackson's passing
I remember watching Usher and others do their tribute and I kept saying that Chris Brown would have done it better. I was so excited when he did this performance and he did even better than I expected.
People can hate all they want they can say other people would have done it better but at the end of the day the JACKSON FAMILY went and got chris to do this tribute because BET shut him out they went and made sure chris did this tribute and he did his thang!
@@elizabeth_7761 who alive is better than Chris? Ofc everyone knows MJJ is forever better than everyone in the music industry. And “everyone” is including me. One more thing, learn how to spell their names. The creator literally put both of their names on the title like, GOODBYE troll 👋🏽
