Chris Browne Cartooning Tips 

RIP Chris Browne, (May 16, 1952 - February 5, 2023) who took over for his father Dik Browne in 1988. The elder Browne created Hägar the Horrible in 1973.

Just subscribed, you are a great cartoonist and teacher. Thanks for taking your time to give such great tips

Who comes up with the original drawing? What happens after Chris finishes the new drawing? How do they get the color in there?

I draw cartoons and finally have gotten around to drawing to publish. I find the eraser is an indispensable tool that always strikes the fear of Christ into me when I decide to use it because I'm always worried the image I drew that's not quite right might be the best of a bad bunch after erasing it.

What happened to the sword that the Elephant was holding? It's not in the finished inked colored version.

I wish we could see the inking process. (by the way, strange way of holding the pencil, but if it works for him...)
