1. Chris Cornell introducing Alain Johannes´s music 2. Wooden Jesus (Temple of the Dog) 3. Endless Eyes (Alain Johannes) 4. Hunger Strike (Temple of the Dog)
You can tell he was sick this week. His voice was coarse and he didn't look very good. Prolly had a really nasty cold but he wouldn't cancel shows and disappoint his songs. He always put others first..always..he was such a nice man. I miss him so much. :(
I think it's largely in part due to Chris forgetting to tune down to Drop D before starting the song.. he probably realized when they started and got thrown off a bit, he tunes down to D right before the bridge. But that's what I love about live music, perfection is not required, and just hear him belt out that final note.. worth it.
9:46 .. LOL Chris usually played this solo live in dropped D but was probably too drawn into Alan's performance and forgot to downtune before starting Hunger Strike.. Love how he just does it there in the spur of the moment, and they carry on. These 2 on stage always had a special chemistry.
Alain eres genial siempre!! Chris rindiendo tributo a tu bella música broh
