For those who didn't notice: This is actually a great song. It sounds as good in this video as it does in the timbaland version, as a jazz version, a death metal version... whatever. A good song is a good song no matter what musical context you put it in. Songwriting is what chris is great at. This rules no matter how you spin it.

Chris was awsome in all those bands and in solo. Both bands were 2 of my favourites bands of alltime. They had great names (and it's rare) with significant and simple meaning (thanks to Chris) and amazing songs that sounded like no one else. I would love your input on our last video from our first album. I love this version of this song. I love all of Chris Cornell's versions of any songs. I JUST LOVE CHRIS CORNELL!! DeeVena24, he is not more famous because fame isn't about talent. As Chris has pointed out: anyone can be famous now (Ex. reality shows). I just feel fortunate to be living in a time when I can see him live and buy all his music as is comes out. just bought Songbook from last year to get me through until new SG album next month. It is off the damn wall! his revamps of hits acoustic are bone-chilling. the covers are outstanding and the new songs are sweet. Seasons was the only thing i miss on the list, but i'll grab that here... go see them live - NOTHING like it. i've seen over 200 bands easily, best setlist i've ever heard.
And another good thing about this album is that some of the songs including this one are easy to learn. Its really fun to play and sing Scream and Time.
For everyone dumping on the work Chris did with Timberland, keep in mind that it was the album that Cornell wanted to make and Chris did seek him out for that. It's as much a part of his legacy as anything else that you might love and it showed that the man was willing to take risks in expressing his many sides and the several genres that have influenced him. dude, I have read very carefully every recorded word that Jesus spoke. I remember in early 2015 I was really digging this recording and as an amateur guitarist and vocalist was considering doing a cover of this, crazy, although I was in excellent physical condition I suddenly found myself in the hospital all the dr's saying I'd die. Well, I didn't but due to a brain injury lost use of my left arm ( no more guitar). I hate it but no loss to the world. Anyway, my recovery has gone much better than any of the doc's predicted and from my personal perspective that is largely due to this massive indomitable sense of hope I have that even through this I am being carried forward for a purpose, I ain't on no pity trip. And all of that faith I have is predicated on the fact that Jesus is certainly not a Chris cornell, I'm definitely not dissing chris. But poor choice of words, find better jokes. the most important questions you will ever answer in life are: " who is Jesus and how will I think of and respond to Him?" Read the sermon on the mount reflectively in a quiet space.Peace.
