Just found out at 37 my mom is marrying a man who just got out of prison for shooting at his wife and kicking their dog, then violating the protective order once he got out. He did all this in 2022 at 63. My mom has always been my best friend and has now chosen this man over me. To say my day has been devastating is an understatement. I LOVE when she references The Twilight Zone bc my dad raised me on that show the original and the old remake too. There was another show just like it too that was from the 60s and then made a come back in the early 90s or late 80s as well. Watching The twilight zone is comforting and feels like home to me tho whenever I’m depressed. Haha. I totally get it. First, Praying for everyone in Florida and their SAFETY. And I hope they have not sustained damage or any loss of life to any love ones. And if they have suffered any tragic losses, I pray that you find the strength for the coming days and that you have a support system around you. As well as resources if not from a personal or family source but the GOVERNMENT needs to step in and help out our Citizens for both recent Hurricanes. I have watched the devastating effects and losses in multiple states and the failures for the Government to help people who are in certain situations literally make me sick. And since this isn't a political show. I will leave it there. But if any of y'all are living in these areas, I have sincerely been praying and thinking about you all. I have even gone so far to written Congressman and other Federal agencies on behalf of my fellow Americans. And again, this isn't a political show.. I will leave it there. If I was in these situations, I would want someone to advocate for me and write to Government Agencies on my behalf. I don't live near these areas and that's my way of contributing as well as donating. Love y'all ❤

My whole family is in Fl. I am in NJ. Texted everyone in Fl. Told them to send just a thumbs up emoji too 1 main family member not in Fl. That person will communicate with the rest of us. I lived thru Superstorm Sandy in NJ. Surprisingly, coffee was what me & my neighbor s needed most. Of course a neighbor had a camping stove. Ppl lucky enough to have generators let other ppl charge phones. It took about 2 years, our whole state had to b rebuilt. Seeing ppls entire belongings on a curb, destroyed gave us all some ptsd. Losing my home, eventually was devastating. U can think u made it thru ok but yr roof caves in day's later. Stuff like that. So grateful for the Red Cross. Free bottled water, some food & clothes. We needed contractors asap from all over the country. America seems to have 48hrs to pay attention to any one disaster. There will b a new more noteworthy disaster in just day's. Stick with yr Fl family & friends affected for the long haul. Years, literally! Go give blood. Huge shortage. I needed Juicy Scoop with my favorite team today to laugh a bit.
