He should blame himself because it was him who wanted Thor to become a spoof and he was the one championing his buddy Waititi to take over. He doesn't care about the fans and the character. Because, if he did, he would slap Taika's hand and told him ''I say thee nay!'' when Waititi decided to kill off The Warriors Three and forget about Sif. If Chris cared, he'd want Thor to become more like the comics, more direct and serious, have a relationship with Sif, and fight with The Warriors Three by his side against Loki at Ragnarok.

Ragnarock was good. It’s ok to have Thor make funny comments every once in awhile. But he shouldn’t have been comic relief. Thor needs to be serious. And maybe someone else is the comic relief not everyone else. I thought gore the god butcher was definitely the best part of that movie. And yay you could bitch at lady Thor but I didn’t think it was as bad as captain marvel.

It is his fault. He clamored for Thor to become a spoof. He never objected to all the terrible decisions Waititi has made, such as killing of The Warriors Three, shelving Sif away, and turning Ragnarok into Ragnajoke. Hemsworth is not excellent. He was okay as Thor at first, but nowhere close to the epic hero Thor of the comics, and with each movie he became a parody of his own self. I honestly don't think he's really that good of an actor.

Tbf, ragnarok and LaT had a similar style. Ragnarok just happened to be way better. And how did he not have the same level of creative freedom for that? He completely changed Thors personality, added sa’kaar, hulk, Valkyrie, hela, skurge, killed the warriors three, made Odin die, and made the Ragnarok event different from the comics. If anything, he was way more creative here than with Thor 4

@@kanyerahming he didn’t have the same level of creative freedom because the writers of the film were Christopher Yost, etc. Taika never wrote the script like he did in LAT. Also, unlike LAT, Thor had more character development, he awakened his power, and learned that the hammer doesn’t give him powers. He already has it. It gave him more character growth. Love and Thunder butchered all his character development because Taika had too much creative freedom. He both directed and wrote LAT. and you’ve never read the planet hulk storyline? Sakaar was a thing in comics. And hela was a great villain, as Blanchett made a great performance. Love and Thunder sucked because Taika wrote the script instead of Yost. And saying he was more creative in Ragnarok was the stupidest thing ever said to prove that you hate phase 3 so much because just because Thor had change that was reminiscent to what he does in comics (not personality), that doesn’t mean it strays too far because the power boost was a thing in comics.

@@noobmaster69426 I know sa’kaar is in the comics lol, I actually did read planet hulk. I’m talking about the fact they included it in the mcu, not saying they completely made it up. But I didn’t know Taika wasn’t the writer in 3, so that’s interesting. Thor 4 butchered Endgame Thor more than Ragnarok Thor tbh. But Thor did have growth in that movie, it just wasn’t nearly as good as Thor 3.

@@kanyerahming ok, just I didn’t really see that much growth in Thor 4 compared to Ragnarok or Endgame (despite the jokes earlier in the film, during the time heist, he becomes serious and still worthy and was at least useful in the fight and even learned that he cannot stop evil alone. This shows the human side of Thor, and I like that because it made him interesting. Before Love and Thunder ruined everything)

Taika is like a male Patty Jenkins (on how both made a well received superhero movie but then dramatically went downhill in the follow ups because they were given too much creative control) with the smugness of The Last Jedi's Ryan Johnson, while thinking he's clever and cute like Mel Brooks (but he's not)

​@@zackplayz7333it is far from from perfect but that movie is not mid. It had the perfect combination of seriousness and comedy.

It just needs to be better balanced. Thor can be comedic but it needs to balanced out with a darker tone and the comedy needs to work for the character. Like Infinity War his comedy made sense since Thor lost everything and it was comedy mixed with pain. And in What If 80’s Avengers his comedy was more a fish out of water which also made sense there

That would be too much work to be the lead director and lead actor.

Have him co-direct but give the directorial job to either Extraction director or Russos
