Chris Hemsworth Talks Hanging Up Thor's Hammer - Avengers Endgame

Chris Hemsworth is one of, if not the best actor in the MCU His emotional range is actually pretty crazy.

I'm confused because it seems like Thor will be part of the Guardians of the Galaxy or well the Asguardians of the Galaxy.

Disappointed that they didn't throw a joke in about Quill no longer being jealous of Thor because he's fat.

SPOILER ALERT: I agree with a lot of you in that I wanted Thor to return to his God-Like physique as a symbol of his breaking from his depressed state in the first two acts of the film. I enjoyed the comedic side with Thor being fat and I appreciated the character arc of mental health and that even the “strongest” of men suffer with failure - no one is immune. He did in the end kick ass in the final battle, and his relinquishing of his “this is what I’m supposed to be” vs “who I actually am” allowed Cap to use the hammer and even Thor chose the larger weapon over the hammer in the end. It’s a metaphor for Thor moving on. Besides, the way the ended the film, The “Asguardians of the Galaxy” will return and I’m sure Hemsworth would like to reprise Thor once more. Also we have to separate Avengers films from individual. Thor in Ragnarok and Thor in Endgame are two very honest sides of this character. The audience is allowed to remember and see him in both ways.

Spoiler alert When Thor chopped Thanos arm off then his head it was f$#king awesome. But you could tell how guilty he felt when he traumatically said "I went for the head". I wanted to see fit King Thor again, but he was still great.

Thor and Star-Lord could change dynamics....cause they both lost their parents and girlfriend and all. It just works. Thor went on a dirty bulk and it backfired, his powers peaked at Ragnarok, I loved Thor without a weapon and Stormbreaker doesn't bother me but they really made Thor too dependent on his weapon as if his Ragnarok character arc was recton Hulk became that one smart nerd with glasses who hit the gym hard but doesn't know how to throw a punch in real life fight. Ironman was pretty shit in this movie, his new mark 85 did not do shit to thanos. However, it was the nano tech that saved the day. Cap America did good. Cap Marvel was too OP, the power was undeserving

Infinity War was the movie of Thor and Thanos, in Endgame they massacred both... I love Endgame, but Infinity War was refreshing and unpredictable(unlike Endgame) that's why i think IW is better

Thor needs a proper ending to his character, not endgame, that was an insult, a funny one to be sure, but he deserves a worthy ending as much as cap and ironman. This "being himself" storyline is nonsense, he is the king, and any story about him being himself should conclude with him growing up and ruling asgard.
