Hey that's some really awesome memories. Thank you for sharing your story. I'm 47 years old and I got into this music about 10 years ago man I wish I was a young one back then I could have experienced all these shows and the good times that came with it.

I always had the ear and talent... I fell to the lifestyle before I ever gave myself a chance. I look at my daughter's love for music. She's still only 4, I look around at the world.... I'm not letting the world get to her before I do.... Wish I'd figured out the game way earlier. It made me bitter and hateful with really only one person left to blame. So I went back and walked through my life again, this time, not looking for blame or fingers to point, but with a more honest desire to achieve some understanding... I'm teaching my kids to believe in themselves, find that thing they love and go after it with everything.... I'll be right there with them. There is no other feeling that even comes close. I hope anyone who has a hard time looking into mirrors, finds some understanding, and some self forgiveness. That's what this song speaks to me. I'm still standing. I've done some good, I've done some bad, I'd change most of the bad too, probably all of it, if I could go back. I can't. The only thing I can change is my perspective and attitude. You rock Chris. Again, I always find motivation to pick my guitar up these days. Putting it down is the hard thing 🤣

​@@-roejogan- I never heard of that band but looked them up. Yes, that riff is a total The Cult rip-off but then it sounds like slightly heavier pop country. I don't think I'll be listening to more of Theory of a Deadman LOL
