Randy , Chris , AND Tony Richards should be there for it to actually be OFFICIAL. 😉

Do people want to see the Rolling Stones or do they want to see Mick Jagger? Would the Beatles have been the Beatles if John Lenon fired Paul, Ringo and George after the few records and went solo with the name? I want to see Chris and Randy and hear the first four records personally...that's just me.

I've seen Wasp recently and they still kick ass, I've seen them back in the day as well and they were always great too. Blackie is totally correct he's had this band for just about 25 years or more, and besides why would he want to bring back members who caused him stress anyway?.

I think people would rather hear a set of music from the first 2 albums with the original guys, than 2 disjointed sets with the current lineup. Most people aren't listening to the later albums anyways. Chris and Randy still sound good when they play W.A.S.P. songs, they have stayed active with their own projects.

Gene Simmons and Paul Stanley should of hired Blackie as a PR guy when they replaced Peter and Ace after the reunion, his description of why band reunions don’t always work sounds way better than theirs

His point about musicians "growing" makes no sense because it's not like they're being asked to play shit from The Crimson Idol, Still Not Black Enough etc. It's the same when Kiss brought Ace & Peter back. Mike and Doug are in the band for 30 and 20 yrs respectively. if there was a W.A.S.P. reunion other than current line up, I would choose Darrel Roberts and the late Frankie banalli and Bob Kullick. He sat in a chair and looked heavier than ever. That has to be hard on his back. The weight. But wish them all the best

oof...this is some...man i dont even know. first of all, no disrespect to blackie, but chris, tony and randy are most likely in MUCH better shape than he is currently. so the idea of them "not delivering" is kinda rich coming from someone who now looks like jabba the hutt (im sorry but you know its true) cant even stand straight, has to sit down for the show, and half the choruses are lip synced, or like animal, the entire song is. second, just be honest. its not about the other band members. its about you guys having a fallout, and chris would probably rather nuke his nuts than to share a stage with blackie again. im sure if blackie went up to the other members and said "hey, i have an idea for an anniversary tour about the first album, where we play it in the entirety, but for the nostalgia i would like to get the old gang back together for one last time" im sure they wouldnt mind. plenty of bands have done these reunion tours. but you can have it even easier. on the end of the tour, on the last show. thats where you bring the old guys in instead of the current band members, for one show, to close off the tour. shouldnt be a problem. also whats with the shot against his former band mates with "some guys cant keep up"??? chris and randy just wanted to write cool rock and roll songs, and blackie took his part wayyy to seriously (kinda evident from some interviews during headless and crimson idol era) dont get me wrong, love those records, but blackie really just kinda feed his own ego there. its rock and roll music, it aint that deep bro.

It is frustrating all of the bitchiness directed at Blackie. I can understand certain members saying “he wouldn’t let me contribute to the songwriting”. But no matter what, Blackie Lawless was always 95% responsible for WASPs success. And he’s never received the credit he deserves.

Blackie certainly understands his job. I totally agree with his point about musicians "Losing it" over the yrs. The '96 Kiss reunion exposed this, and because there was MUCH, MUCH more money involved, it worked out (also they were in the 45 to 50 age range, wheras the original Wasp guy's are in the 60 to 70 range). I think that if enough money was involved that those guys (Tony, Randy, Chris and Blackie) could go out and run through songs off of those first two albums and throw in a good cover here and there. Honestly, WASP is pretty much only remembered for those first two records. I think that at this point though (they are like 65 to 67 years old) it would take strong desire and financial cordination (rehearsals, living accomodations, soberness, etc). With Kiss there was enough clout and money involved to make it happen ( as well as them being younger at that point). The original Wasp guys are all alive and 'could' do a tour, but it wouldctake ALOT of effort.

Everyone always talks about Chris when it comes to w.a.s.p. and not taking anything away from him. But Randy has been so underrated and pretty much an afterthought in so many conversations. And pretty much unknown to most. He was considered to be an actual cofounder of w.a.s.p. with blackie at the very beginning. Obviously as a fan you don't know what really happened back then when they split ways. But he definitely seemed to be a huge contributor to the original band. And he and Chris had different sounds and styles but meshed perfectly together with those first couple albums. They were both lead guitarists. Something that lacked after blackie took over to become the rhythm guitarist in the band. Sorry but Randy is a much better player than blackie. And don't get me wrong. There was plenty of great music to be had as the years went on with blackie's version of w.a.s.p. as the years went on. And still a fan of them. Not taking away anything from the musicians that have been apart of the band all these years either. Because just like most good artists out there. They will usually surround themselves with some of the best musicians in the business. But regardless of the explanations of divorce and all that. As many people and couples just aren't going to get along. But it would be really cool to at least see a few shows where there's at least a cameo here or there with those guys up there sharing the stage for a few songs. Probably won't ever happen. But it sure would be cool to see as a fan.

Not sure why he cites Headless Children as a superior album?? It has ONE drum fill repeated over and over and over. Its very bland. Im ashamed to say i only recently found all the old (Randy Piper's) Animal albums and i couldn't believe what i was hearing - That old W.A.S.P feeling of the first couple of albums was EVERYWHERE in Randy's discography. I haven't liked ANY W.A.S.P album after The Last Command because to me they just lost their sound. NOW i know WHY... it was ALL Randy Piper that made W.A.S.P incredible, Rich Lewis even has the same kind of voice as Blacky. Both Chris and Randy CAN play later stuff with no issue!! Chris did well in 97 to 01 with the Idol albums material. Randy still plays and is actually the BETTER guitar player over Chris. Randy is underrated. The two can do the job.The problem is blackie. Johnny Rod can still play bass quite well, as well as Mike Duda can. I myself would not want to work with blackie, because he's got the same personality and he's the same type of person, ask Gene Simmons of Kiss.

I do understand that not everyone in a band grow with the same speed and in the same direction but if you don't wanna end up like Blackie you have to remember it's not your own room where you do whatever the f*** you want to do. It's a band, a product. This band plays certain music, looks a certain way and acts a certain way and that's what sells, that's what fans love about it. You can change it all one day, say "I'm a big artist!", but don't come back crying that no one buys your music anymore. You've created a great product and you've destroyed it. Should I - as a fan - pretend I like those recent albums full of generic riffs and christain propaganda? Nope. No way.

I agree that yes, a lot of musicians grow differently. But whether he considers himself a superior musician than Chris Holmes and Randy Piper is a totally different thing! Tony has been out of the game for a while but he was and is a fantastic drummer and there is no reason he should not be able to get his chops back with rehearsals and so on. Chris and Randy are active and awesome as ever. But, when you are talking about playing those original albums, for me personally, with all due respect to his current band members and all their due credit. I as a fan if not what else? I want to see that original lineup!!!!!! Period!!! Sadly, Steve Riley and Frankie Banalli have passed and cannot be part of this. But again, i'm not interested in seeing Blackie Lawless playing those albums with a backing band, absolutely not! These guys are as much part of that history and responsible for the fact that W.A.S.P. is even here today!!!! Who helped to co write those epic first 4 albums? Certainly not Blackie by himself.

The only person who believes Blackie is himself. If he's truly revisiting the first album he should deal with his own issues and have Holmes back in the band, and explore the others as well. Truly go there and deal with it. Have his new players on the 2nd half of the show. But stop with the disingenuous nonsense. We still know you're playing to tracks and sitting down (occasionally) ffs.

Now, let’s get to the facts! Chris said himself he will never play with Blackie again! Blackie screwed him over! You can find the interviews where Chris talks about it! Also, let’s not forget that Chris was on Headless Children! Blackie loves to make excuses to why he doesn’t want any original or older members around! Block or talking about not wanting people who can’t play the later stuff. Let’s not leave out how he admitted to using backing tracks on the tour! With backing tracks & most likely pre recorded tracks in full, you don’t have to play good to mimic!
