The Irresistible Force meets the Immovable Object...listening to this makes me think that they could/should have recorded an album of Elvis classics such as "Viva Las Vegas", "It's Now Or Never", "Suspicion", "Return to Sender", etc, etc, etc..
Wrong idea. I can only make in the music industry with ur own u pique sound. Remember n the Elvis movie the record producer asked Elvis who he sounded like? N then he rolled his eyes 👀? N Elvis replied n his typical SO HUMBLE WAY I don’t sound like anybody. The only way u going to make it n the Musi. Industry is to have ur own unique sound. Because when u imitate other people. U always fall short. Even if u sing the song better than the original. N that’s because the audience is comparing u to the original artist. N even with this song ELIVIS IS THE KING and he did it better then these two talent artist did ( at least this song ). They didn’t do a duo of Elvis‘s songs because they knew unlike we it wouldn’t have went over because only Elvis can do Elvis and they did themselves. N with this song it proved it. U compare this duo, singing the Devil in disguise and then you listen to Elvis’s devil in disguise. There ain’t no way this song performed Elvis’s song.
Reminds me of the chemistry between an old friend of mine. She and I would always duet in so many ways. Like Bobby McGee, I let her go, but one more time for me and my Lizzie.
Not quite. Elvis Presley destroys chris. I just got thru listening to the studio version of this song And elvis's version is light years better. Nice try but you're an idiot
I had this on tape (cause I'm ancient) whenever it came out and I obsessed over this part! LeAnne Rimes has NEVER looked better, in my honest opinion. Cool song and a ****ing GORGEOUS lady acting all hot and sultry... I was powerless in the face of such a combo!!
Wow!! Beautiful collaboration!! Chris is very talented…but Leann’s Voice, Charisma, Fun-Loving nature~blows him out of the water!!! She’s up there w/Elvis & Patsy in my 📖😉🥰😇🥳🕺
yeah.. Chris is right in there with Setzer as far as true rockabilly/ swing is concerned.. top shelf....but she does well...good song for the two... Again.. Chris inspires the hell outta me... gotta love rockabilly swing Baby!!!
Did he cringe/flinch at @1:18? LOL I did not remember that part. Too funny but really nice collab. CI never misses regardless of who/what/where he plays with.
This reminds me of Jeff Beck and Imelda Mae doing that Les Paul/Mary Ford tune for the...Grammys...I think. Bringing back the old songs and making them sound like new again. Great!
