We need more highlights, this guy is 48years old and look like he'd destroy nba players right now. I saw him in the big 3 game, impressive! Somebody sign him. This is a legend that coaches in the 90,s should have gave him the freedom like Curry has today. I loved his game since Lsu and he's still has that same game today and just as quick.
Chris Jackson later known as,Mahmoud Abdul Rauf was the business...The first guard I ever saw dribble full speed down court and stop on a dime and pull up, thru the legs, crossover etc.,
I didn’t realize that Hardaway(utep2step) and A.Davis played at UTEP together! I’m a UofL fan but I love watching the old school games when college basketball was college basketball!!!!
One of my favorite shooters of ALL time....Mahmoud Abdul Rauf!!!🏀💯💪🏿✊🏿👏🏿 And one of the GREATEST point guards of all time. Tim "killa crossover" Hardaway!!!👍🏿🏀💯
Can damn near guarantee that NOBODY predicted Hardaway would be a better pro than Jackson. With that, Jackson/Abdul-Rauf still has the best pull-up jumper I've ever seen.
@@mbfree5022 he wasn't no Hardaway! Hardaway did well vs the Jordan Bulls in the Playoffs too while he was on the Miami heat. Dude was the crossover inventor and two-step plus USA Olympics Dream Team 2. 🏀🇺🇸
@@nicknite10 mahmoud beat Jordan twice while in high-school during a basketball camp. He didn't let him do it three times. Asked for the ball back and told him to sit down lol
This Utep team was no joke. No suprise they were better and higher seeded. A future HOFer in Tim Haddaway, a future NBA all star and solid 15 year pro in Antonio Davis, and a solid 13 year vet in Greg Foster! The late great honorable Don Haskins could really “mine” himself some talent to El Paso Texas of all places.
Dale Brown was a great recruiter but not so good Xs and Os guy...1990 team CJ, Shaq, Stanley Roberts, Singleton, Mo Williamson, should've gone to final four...
I didn't know Indiana Pacers Forward A. DAVIS #34 was Teammates with TIM HADAWAY at UTEP. DAVIS played 1 year overseas to develop his body, got with the Pacers and NEVER looked back.
@MB Free- Tim was way too strong to be bothered by CJ, even a little. CJ was way too quick for Tim. Timmy was a better creator and general- would of been NBA HOF without the early ACL blowout...
great video. the only bummer is that the move of the night (Prince Stewart against C. Jackson was left out. Dribble, dribble, jab step, through the legs, spin for a layup. That being said, great job - glad you put this up.
Tom Hardaway stole Chris Jackson’s crossover. Jackson was doing that crossover in high school. Did you notice when Hardaway tried that crossover and got his pocket picked by Dennis Tracy? 😭😭
Next year Timmie comes tothe DUBs and run TMC is born! Those were good days. Remember watching this game. Didn’t really know of Tim then, but knew of season Chris Jackson ha as a Freshman! I almost forgot how good hMahmoud Abdul Rauf was shunned by nba… he was kaepaernick before kap
+Jackson maddox He was faster than Steph of course Steph's range is better. Back then the trey ball wasn't what is was today these kids practice shooting the trey ball in elementary school now days, back then specific gifted shooters were the trey guys. His pull up was deadly from any where...
It's too bad that he left after 2 years. Imagine if he stayed through his senior year, with Shaq as a sophomore and junior. They would have been dominant,
Nice to see, thanks, but damn- Normal Video: Highlight > Highlight > Highlight > Highlight > Highlight > etc... THIS VIDEO: Highlight >>>>>...................................
Eric Edougue Because Tim had a better career he got more attention than Chris Jackson because at the time Chris got his career going his 3rd year by then Tim Hardaway was already showcasing the move his first 3 years in the league. Nobody didn't like Chris Jackson that much either because his belief of Islam and they ran him out the NBA so he was blackballed by the NBA just like how MJ Blackballed Isaiah Thomas.
cariocabassa Tim Hardaway 1989 started off good Chris Jackson 1990 started off slower By 1992-1993 season when CJ got the starting position Tim was high profile player showcasing the move.
