All things considered, I think HHH is the biggest issue for AEW. When Vince briefly returned, it made WWE look like shit again. Now it looks like HHH is in full control again, which is a massive pull for WWE. The second biggest issue would be mishandling of talent such as AEW letting CM Punk go.

Fr man I feel like hes cheating his own product out the window as of recent, any real wrestling fan would have some common sense to know that he misses the mark a lot when it comes to trying to compete with another wrestling company, he hasn't held it down so much this past year so until tony locks in and moves his chops up I'm gonna keep holding HHH & WWE to a higher standard. Releasing CM Punk was already enough bad decision and we all knew he would go back to WWE so that's very much Tony's fault for mishandling all that talent he could easily improve.

TK is having someone else running ROH for him, should do the similar thing for AEW

Levesque is still having his strings pulled from the Machine. It's more perception than anything. It's funny everyone stuck up for Vince until they heard he was going to be out and everyone turned their back on him and made it feel like Levesque is some sort of savior.

In addition, AEW's product was a thousand times better in it's first 2-3 years than it is now. AEW in 2019-2021 could have easily rivaled a Triple H led WWE in quality of product, matches, and booking. After Cody left and God knows what else happened and Tony Khan gained more control over the booking, AEW had a sharp fall, while Triple H took over WWE Creative and WWE got better. The tables really have turned.

Nothing is killing AEW, it's just settling into being it's own product. Not every business has to be run the same way Vince ran WWE or what HHH is currently doing. TK is a competitor, but he has never sepcifically stated he wanted to go to war with WWE, he just wants to offer a wrestling product that he enjoys to the American wrestling market. Now while I do believe TK doesn't have enough back bone to handle talent affairs and issues, he is admitting his mistakes by putting guys like Bryan in charge of talent disciplinary, so he's still learning and making mistakes. You think it took Vince a day to create his empire? Please, it had more of a chance of closing shop in the 80s if WM 1 didn't work.

There were also other people he was paying not just his father one being Gorilla Monsoon and if he failed to actually make one of the payments he would have lost the company. So despite what some seem to think he wasn't all that wealthy at the time. Yes his father gave him a job at the time and paid him well but he was hardly a millionaire at the time and took a huge risk.
