My sister Chris has been a crafts wizard all of her life. This video was made to help visitors attending her one-woman show understand the little-known techniques of needle felting.
My Granny did this when I was a child, and I'd not seen it in almost 50 years, I didn't know what materials she'd used, last night the term felting came to me in a dream. She made 'paintings' of every sort with this technique, and it makes sense in Ireland, raising sheep. Certainly she had the wool for the work. I am an artist too, and would love to do this to add to my art and craft work. Thank you for sharing. It is beautiful.
