I'd love to pick Mr. Langan's big brain. I, now a former atheist, recently experienced meeting the one eternal being on a MDMA+LSD trip. In that state of altered/higher consciousness I witnessed God projecting a hyper-dimensional torus (donut shape) of emotions which manifested itself as all reality. I witnessed God's thoughts and saw them materialize into physical matter. I understood it was my witnessing of the thoughts that was crystallizing them into certainty. I felt like my insatiable quest for acquiring knowledge while keeping an open mind had finally rewarded me with not only ultimate truth, but the quandary of how exactly to bring this experience back with me to share with others in an intelligible and meaningful way. I found myself wanting to describe what I saw in English, but how does one grasp smoke and hold onto it? I realized a construction of linear language would not suffice to describe what I held in my mind. Then I found the CTMU, and discovered that a man with an IQ superceding mine had already found a way to effectively construct into English these ideas I had assumed were original to me. Thank you Chris for inadvertently keeping my ego in check. You're a brilliant man way ahead of the curve. I hope to one day have a meaningful discussion with a great mind like Mr. Langan's. Peace and Love! All is One!

I want to believe and at one point, I think I did. I still consider myself a Christian but I've done years of research and everything points to the Bible being fake.. A bunch of plagerized myths from an older civilization called Sumaria.. Almost all of the old Testament is plagerized.. Noah never existed.. He's based on the myth of Gilgamesh.. The Exodus never happened.. The Pharoah of that time wrote on tablets.. No mention of anything about Moses or anything. The Genesis creation story is also based on the Sumarian creation story.. Adamu was the first man and he was a genetic creation.. The Bible took that story, erased the pantheon of gods. Changed some things.. Put it in the Bible.. And there are hints and mistakes all over Genesis. I stopped researching this once I got to Jesus.. He started appearing to be a Roman creation.. Turn the other cheek.. Love your enemies.. Pay your 10%.. Don't question anything.. Have faith in the face of illogics.. You'll get your reward after your dead.. Perfect religion for controlling the masses.. It doesn't matter whether you are a good or bad person.. All that matters is if you believed.. And I think a lot of Christians struggle with belief even though they don't admit this.. It's hard to force yourself to believe in something you have 0 proof of

Jesus is the Way. He may be the way for you (he is for me) but, no, he is not the only way. The bible doesn't limit faith in that way. I believe Jesus would prefer for the members of each faith to improve the underlying logic of their faiths until they coincide to the point of peaceful co-existance, rather than all converting. It's something Christians need to think about.

The CTMURadio response in this thread is the flaw in CTMU, and the response from Detective exposed the logic of why it's a flaw. Leviticus 17:11 and Hebrews 9:22. Jesus death was a waste if it offered yet only one more way of many other ways. If there are many ways, then OT prophesy about the coming messiah was needless and Jesus was crazy. Now how can Jesus be God, the Logos, and also crazy? I would yield that multiple religions teach humans how to get along with each other, but that is shortsighted and not what is meant by 'the Way'. "The Way" is not about peaceful coexistence of humans on Earth; it's about coexistence of our eternal soul and spirit with the One and only true God, Creator of the Universe. In John 14:6, this Logos said it plainly: "I am the way, the, truth, and the life ; no man comes to the Father except through me." God's Word (Jesus, the Logos) tells us that a future and peaceful Earth will be governed by Himself alone, a position which will not be shared among other false Gods and prophets. The future peaceful Earth will not be governed by Muhammad or Buddha. So even the peaceful coexistence of humans on Earth is accomplished by the return and reign of the King of Kings! So, how on earth is there more than one way? This is the CTMU FLAW. It's simply a flaw introduced by fallible man. It can be fixed.

A thought about Siddartha and Jesus: Siddartha might have been born in wealth and luxury, but the entire point of his narrative is that he abdicated everything so that he could identify with ultimate reality and reconfigure to gain the metacognition necessary to best serve humanity. And he went 100% on it. This is, in my view, more humanly relatable than the Son of God, who can be admired and studied, but not entirely embodied by anyone of us with limited metacognition. In a way, therefore, Siddartha is more "relatable" as a model than Jesus. Christ was already Logos in the flesh, the Son of God. Siddartha was a normal human who sacrificed material abundance so that he could actualize his full potential. That's something we can all do. Moreover, I wouldn't think Buddha ignores God. We have to remember that Buddhism was born out of Hinduist and Eastern philosophical traditionions. In these, reality is seen as being ultimately mental (implying an Ultimate Mind or Consciousness) and the focus is on raising our level of cognition to that, a metacognitive effort of self-identification. That is why Buddhism (and eastern religions) focus so much on meditation and awareness (metacognition). Panpsychism is taken for granted there. This is not "staying quiet" about God in the way an agnostic would. In Eastern thought, God (Brahman, ultimate reality, the universal Mind) is implied everywhere. But it is not the "Lord" type of God that the medievals so conveniently appropriated to justify all sorts of feudalisms and theocratic mornachies. Final thought: is Christ that complete a model for all humans? Or is he perhaps an ideal archetype for men, but not necessarily for women? The christian gnostics, who got, well, persecuted by the orthodox "good christians" often spoke of the female counterpart to Christ, i.e., the spiritual bride of Christ, Sophia. The emphasis on Jesus as the only rolemodel seems to reinforce the simplistic view of God as the old bearded man in the sky that occasionally falls down to earth as the ultimate Man to put everyone in their place. That said, I love the videos. I'm all for the meta-religion project and the CTMU, and I'd love to see a lot of productive, open-minded discussion being generated around these topics. Kudos to Chris
@NicBob89
@NicBob89 2 года назад
Jesus is a role model for all humans. He is to be emulated by all people, even though we are flawed. He was human, yet also god and serves as an example of how we should live our lives to be closer to god. If he had not lived the way he did, he could not be God. What I believe is a difference between the role models is that Jesus’ focus was on serving others and never the self. As for Sofia (wisdom), I believe this is the Holy Spirit. The whole concept of Christianity is that through our thoughts and actions and training of our passions to be disciplined, we can become Christ-like, which allows us to be like God and fully represent God’s image. The Orthodox did not persecute anyone - if they did, the people doing the persecution were not Christians, as this is not a Christian act. The gnostics were widely criticised, ostracised and denounced, but not hunted down or anything.

This video was amazing. I must add one thing though: Jesus DID have MAJOR privilege: having his astrology chart interpreted to his parents by astrolgers proficient enough at their craft to find him and worship him as a baby. This had to have had a MAJOR impact on the trajectory of his life from the way he was raised to how he viewed himself throughout his personal development. Thank you for all of your tireless and wonderful work. Many blessings.
@justinpeter5752
@justinpeter5752 2 года назад
If you read the scriptures where it talks about the astrology, you will see that this star that they followed was not like other stars. The star appeared at the conception of Christ and went the opposite direction of the other stars (they went from the west to the east), and then it stopped at the place where Christ was born. This is not a star that followed any sort of astrological chart, and did not follow the laws of stars. It was a direct divine revelation to these three magi that led them to Christ. This indicates not a privilege in the sense that one human has a privilege over another based on circumstance, but rather the fact that he himself is God, the lawgiver of the universe and changes the laws at His own divine forethought. Hence Jesus is God in the flesh, and any anthropomorphic “privilege” would only eliminate his significance as being truly human, becoming as we are. Otherwise there would be no benefit to us who do not have a certain anthropomorphic privilege, and hence differ from his humanity. In any case, astrology is nonsense as we can see millions of twins being born at nearly the same time and having completely different lives. And if the short duration of a few seconds or minutes has such a large effect of people’s outcomes, then what is the sense in studying astrology in general if each minute change in time varies so greatly someone’s destiny? Why follow large signs which are observable if the actual signs are so infinitesimal to be observed? Plus in any case, stars cannot determine someone’s decision because it is not the star that makes the decision for a sentient human being. They can at best be signs of certain changes in weather or conditions in nature but not their actual agents. Just how the star that appeared at Jesus’s birth was a sign of God’s coming in the flesh, the birth the of Great King in time. But it was God Himself who decided to be born in the flesh, God was the determining factor, the telic principle, and the star was just a sign to reveal that determination, the state of being.

@CTMURadio, i think you just missed it man!! You're sooo close!! Look at how the Scriptures define the name of Jesus in the Gospel of John, Colossians, and Revelation! Jesus IS the WORD! Don't you see? The very syntax of reality, that the CTMU describes, IS Jesus Himself! "In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. He was in the beginning with God. All things were made through Him, and without Him nothing was made that was made." Jesus IS the incarnation of the logos, of the syntax. And the Holy Trinity is the perfect tri-person entity that recipricates love and logos trilectically. Its the perfect feedback union. Jesus is the physical manefestation of the syntax, or logos, described in the CTMU. It shows how God is reality, reality is the syntax, and Jesus is the Word/syntax. "And the Word (logos) became flesh and dwelt amoung us." John 1:14

Thought experiment: I give you a box that contains an item you've never seen before. You open said box. The moment you look at said object you think to yourself "Well this sort of looks like X". Then you begin to notice specific qualities about it, "Well, this has nuts and bolts here, an engine here, wheels here, legs here..." You essentially begin to piece together the object within your mind. You've taken what you've already known, reconfigured it, and created the idea of this object. There was one time you didn't know what a nut, bolt, engine, wheel, or leg was either. You had to piece those together as well. Your entire life can be categorized as you reconfiguring things together to learn. It's more like remembering instead of learning. So what happens if you go all the way back to the beginning of your life. There must be an origin point. Evolutionists will say that we slowly progressed and grew this logical framework we call learning. This creates a recursive problem though. I can then ask "Well how did we learn to learn?" If evolutionists want to keep going I can ask "Well how did we learn to learn to learn?" The truth is the evolutionist viewpoint cannot explain the origin point. It is transcendent and I wouldn't struggle to call it the soul. Everything is painted in your soul. The first time you met your mother, you created her from your soul. Father. Brother, etc. This is inescapable. Now to some, they would say that I sound solipsist, yet I don't believe in solipsism. It's more like we share a collective framework.I agree with most of the CTMU, but I think we in a sense are God that has been stratified into conscious and unconscious. The perceptual world is contained within our unconscious There is a quote in a Pink Floyd song I love "I am you and what I see is me". The idea of God is already fully inside of us in a unique manner, "belief" is just intuitively pulling it forward. I believe in a form of virtue ethics in which morality is already built into the soul of the person from the moment of their conception. A person either betrays themselves and god or follows their innate morality. There are some real issues with consequentialism and deontological viewpoints. I'm not saying they lack value, but they don't grasp the full picture.

I would argue that this presentation of Mohammed as primarily a warlord is extremely limited and inaccurate. Mohammed demonstrated compassion, love, and forgiveness like Jesus and the other prophets. For example, Mohammed and his followers were chased out of Mecca to Medina, where they remained in exile for years. Tribal leaders from within and around Mecca sent assassins to try and kill him, and eventually sent an extremely large and powerful army to finish him and his followers for good. The Muslims won the battle at great cost, then rallied the troops and surrounded Mecca. Mohammed could have easily wiped out all of his opposition, but he forgave them instead. Mohammed also practiced a level of religious tolerance, particularly to Jews and Christians living under his rule. Mohammed’s final speech to his followers and mankind included the famous words: “A black is not greater than a white, a white is not greater than a black. An Arab is not greater than a non-Arab, nor is a non-Arab greater than an Arab. Except in acts of righteousness and piety.” These examples are literally the tip of the iceberg, and I encourage people to read a biography about them. If you so you’ll find that many of the things that are said about him (he was a warlord, he married and raped a young 8-9 year-old girl, his religion endorsed and encouraged war and bloodshed, etc.) are exaggerations and lies. I love Chris and what he says about Jesus in this video, but I am disappointed that he has mischaracterized and simplified Mohammed, as this reveals he does not know much about them.

Mr. Langan, if I'm not mistaken, Christ and his immediate followers were itinerant celibates. St. Paul writes of marriage as something permissible, but as implicitly inferior to celibacy. It seems to me that if we were all to follow the example of Christ, we should have to renounce the world (much as the historical Buddha did). I apologize if this comes across as presumptuous, but I fail to see how Christ can serve as a universal exemplar any more than the Buddha or Mahomet can - except insofar as the circumstances of his birth were essentially ordinary.

Try studying Hinduism, my opinion the most complicated belief system in the world. You can simplify it by saying there is one god, which can be confusing when you see all the different deities under that one god. Out of any religion i have looked at this one happened to have the most detail, very percise on things. So their main figure shiva i find much different than other religious figure as he is depicted chopping his own sons head off, which is a story that has a meaning to it most of us would view as evil right away misinterpreting it. He is known as the destroyer, and in one of the stories he chops the 5th head off brahma who is the deity of the material universe. Basically shivas main message is that we shouldnt be focused on the material world. . . we see this same message in other religions. Now buddhism from what i seen i saw people burning paper mansions when someone dies with the belief that they will get that in their next life, sounds a bit materialistic to me. For those that dont know buddah came from the upanishads, the upanishads came from the vedic teaching which is treasured by the hindus. The vedas by far is the most advanced thing you will ever read for its time, and their idea of god is interesting and worth looking into if your writing a theory on god

Too add, what christains have is jesus as that was the main prophet, and only one exposed to those disciples. But if you break it down and compare to the hindu belief system, techically jesus is the guru and the disciples are the followers of that guru. In hinduism they always have a guru that teaches their followers to eventually become gurus and keep the teaching going. I see this as the same exact practice!!!! So how i see it, i dont think there was 1 son of god, but the real message was we all are.

Just think about it, why did people start following jesus? He had to be preaching something for those to follow. Thats what we label as a guru today.

I do believe in Jesus' essence. However, I don't get why God created us in order to sacrifice himself to himself?
@BonzTrinitarian
@BonzTrinitarian 3 месяца назад
There are many reasons thought of why God created us but I won’t speak on that. But Jesus took our punishment Ezekiel 18:4 and 18:20, Romans 6:23…. 1Corinthians 15:21, Romans 5:12. Death entered through sin and Jesus is the life that defeated death. Jesus is the sacrificial lamb. And you might say “why didn’t God create us in perfect heaven to begin with”, I would say because that is a forced or arranged marriage rather to what is spoken of in revelation of the Lamb and new Jerusalem being His bride(The Church). So through free will you can choose to be the bride with the church or not when the hour comes.

My only Problem with what ol' Chris Langan is saying here, is that he's saying he wants to do away with everything from all Religions which causes any Disagreements between them... my only Problem with this is merely such would, by nature, then need to Deny the Sonship of the Messiah... since both the Jews and the Muslims take issue with this, in particular... this would, in my Biblically Educated and very Strong Opinion, be very very bad... sure, it might work to bring all the People's of Faith together under one Unified Religion... but, you see, Denying that the Messiah is the Son of God is the very thing that the Anti-Messiah will do... the Bible Verse go as this: "Who is the Anti-Messiah but he who Denys the Messiah?? He who Denys the SON also Denys the Father who sent him. He is the Anti-Messiah, he who Denys both the Father and the SON." You see?? To Deny such Father/Son Relationship between God and the Messiah is the very thing that the Anti-Messiah will do and it is the very thing which will Condemn so many People in the End Times. Ol' Chris Langan would do well to at least not throw THIS part out!!

He thinks each religion should work on those aspects that depart from truth and logic to remedy their scriptures and doctrines. I do not think anyone needs to personally deny (or for that matter, accept) Jesus as their Messiah. They do need to grapple with the truths they promote and make sure they are indeed following the Way that is supported by Logos. It makes perfect sense that God almighty would manifest in our realm (for several purposes). He's done it before and will do it again. God manifests in many ways, and although the manifestation of a messiah is truly an epic event, it's just an extreme example of what God does every day. ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-OA1SDjZ00tE.html

Regarding Jesus (pbuh) and Islam some examples from the quran: 3:45 O Mary! Allah giveth thee glad tidings of a Word from Him: his name will be Christ Jesus, the son of Mary, held in honour in this world and the Hereafter and of (the company of) those nearest to Allah. 19:20 She said: “How shall I have a son, seeing that no man has touched me, and I am not unchaste?” 19:21 He said: “So (it will be): Thy Lord saith, ‘that is easy for Me: and (We wish) to appoint him as a Sign unto men and a Mercy from Us’: It is a matter (so) decreed.”

I would encourage everyone to learn more about Muhammad peace be upon him, do some research and you will not regret it. He was never a merciless warlord. Infact, he was as merciful as Jesus peace be upon him. He forgave his enemies when he had the upperhand, he forgave his uncle's killer that became his companian. When he and the believers were defending themselves against the disbelievers in the Battle of Uhud, his face was terribly injured where some of his teeth got broken and his helmet cheeks protector went through his face. Prophet Muhammad then raised his hands and his companians got worried, thinking he will ask God to punish the disbelievers. However, he prayed to God and said: God, my people do not know, thus guide them. Prophet Muhammad never killed anyone even in battles. Someone might ask though.. why did he fight? Struggle, wars and difficulties are all parts of this life. Truth must be strong and the believers should not be weak, they will struggle and suffer both physically and emotionally in the process, but if they are always weak and oppressed, faith, knowing and loving God will eventually perish from the world, and it will be full of evil. God is the Most Merciful the Most Kind, but He is also the Most Powerful and His punishment is harsh and unbearable to those who are arrogant enough to be cursed by the Most Merciful.

Thanks for this info. It wouldn't surprise me to find out that Mohammed has been mischaracterized. He wouldn't be the first. Historians tend to lionize Alexander but he was a calculating psychopath as far as I can tell. In the end, the only thing that really matters is the understanding that we all pray to the same God.

@@CTMURadio I literally started to listen to Chris and watch his videos a fee days ago, and I am astonished and amazed by his ideas, logic and his wisdom. CMTU will change a lot! I thought about the relationship between the universe and God a while ago. After thinking about a verse in the Quran which is 36:82 ( All it takes, when He wills something ˹to be˺, is simply to say to it: “Be!” And it is! ). In other words.. as if God "thinks" of something or wills it to exist and its just there or happens instantly. Chris talked about this idea and referred to the Universe as God's mind. If you could deliver this message to Chris I will be grateful. ***Please read the Quran. Chris, I am sure a great mind like you will understand A LOT from the Quran, an understanding that will help all of humanity, muslims and non muslims.*** Jeffrey Lang is a mathematician and a professor that read the Quran and came up with great ideas about the purpose of us in this world, on Earth. Here's what's really going on. 1. Judaism was created to eliminate the multiple gods people believed in. Creating a single god, that they held a favored position as Gods chosen. 2. Christianity was created as a defensive counter move to Judaism. 3. Islam was created by Judaism, as a weapon against Christianity. Currently..........................Christianity is losing.

*Jesus Christ is a MUSLIM* gospel of john 14:28 he clearly said my father is greater than i gospel of john 10:29 , gospel of Mathew 12:28, gospel of luke 11:20 in fact in gospel of john 5:30 Jesus Christ (peace be upon him) says i can of my own self do nothing ! as i hear i judge and my judgement is just for i seek not my will but the will of my father. (aka all mighty God) anyone who says that i submit my will to the will of almighty god , in Arabic he is called a MUSLIM. so Jesus Christ (PBUH) was a Muslim. Book of Acts 2:22 :- “Ye men of Israel, hear these words; Jesus of Nazareth, a man approved of God among you by miracles and wonders and signs, which God did by him in the midst of you, as ye yourselves also know:” Jesus Christ (PBUH) never claimed that he was the God, in fact he was one of the mightiest messengers of ALLAH(swt)(aka All Mighty God) but even after all this you will still not believe me, all the best may Allah show you the right path. amen
