Cant believe we lost him 15 years ago. He was my first show i ever saw as a kid in 92 or 93. I been thinking about him alot lately. I hope peggy and the family are still doing well. Damn i miss him
I saw Chris back in 1993. One of the greatest entertainers I ever saw on stage. His performance was over the top. He was definitely a hard act to follow. Miss him!
I remember this moment so well!! The guy had almost died and this was a huge surprise. When he pulls the cover off the mechanical bull, we all knew the legend had returned.
Back in the day , a bunch of us make the hour ride to Cowboys in Myrtle Beach. After a sufficient amount of liquid courage we d line up to ride the bull but first had to sign a waiver in case of landing on and damaging a noggin. We also had to list speed range and my buddy always rode on same level He'd put , Wide Damn Open.
I'll never forget this performance. I know both judges gave the horse and rider 25 points each for the first ever 100 point ride. If you are ever near Kaycee, Wyoming take the time to visit the Chris Ledoux statue in the park there. I promise it will be well worth your time. Miss you Pard...
