The Lightning Thief: The Percy Jackson Musical is "worthy of the gods!" (Time Out New York). The Greek gods are real, and they’re ruining Percy Jackson’s life. As a son of Poseidon, Percy has newly discovered powers he can’t control, monsters on his trail, and he is on an epic quest to find Zeus’s lightning bolt and prevent a war between the gods. Normal is a myth when you’re a demigod. This "winning adaptation" (The Hollywood Reporter) of the best-selling Disney-Hyperion novel by Rick Riordan is "electrifying!" (Newsday). i remember watching thisvideo for the first time and loving it because this was SO Percy and faithful to his character who is very special to my heart. then when i saw chris sing it live, i sobbed because not only did he play and understood Percy so perfectly but because I saw myself in him so thank you for giving Percy his voice again.

Chris is such a perfect Percy. I’m so glad the Musical is so faithful to the book (which I proved in my video analyzing it if anyone wants to check it out 😉😄). This is probably my favorite musical ever so I’m hyped to see it for a third time on Broadway!

The lightning theif has a special place in my heart. I cried for the Percy Jackson books. The moment I found it was a musical I screamed. Chris just seems just like Percy. It’s just the voice I imagined. And same with Annabeth! You are going to do great on broadway!

This song hits so close to the fans, and I hope they know why. The people who grew up reading these books could always click or relate to the characters so much, not only that but bring back old happy memories, listening to the songs give a flashback of childhood, having something to listen to and it bring back the memories is amazing.

It's a musical and it was more faithful to the books that the movies! Even if he is pretty older to be Percy in TLT (he was 12 it would be hard to be faithful in that too) he looks like a perfect older Percy, i see him like that in BOO 🥰

I remember when I listened to my very first song from the musical and I heard Chris's voice. I thought that I had to be dreaming. It's absolutely crazy because that's what I always imagined Percy's voice to sound like. I think I cried when I heard it and I was working on homework. When my mom passed by me and saw that I was crying, it was really hard to explain what I was going through. 😂 I'm glad to hear that TLT:TPJM is back for the viewing. I'd love to see it one day, but I'm also waiting for a Sea of Monsters musical. He has to at least make all five since the people making the movies failed at their jobs.

I got to see the musical it’s last week in Boston, and was so thankful. I can’t believe they are getting to be on Broadway. It’s amazing, and great, and worth it, and everyone is doing such a great job. I’m so happy.
