Honestly, I wondered about the way the baby was found with Chris's belongings. Honestly, what murderer deliberately puts their belongings with the dead body? Wrapped in mens' clothes, put in his gym bag. Part of me is really wondering if Courtney did that to frame him. Because that night she was mad at him for talking to a girl on Facebook. As a matter of fact, the first thing she says when he calls her from jail, is why was he talking to girls on Facebook. Not "where is the baby" .. Not "why did u do this" .. But why was he talking to females on Facebook. Seems fishy to me and that whole thing gives me doubt.

I've said this same thing the entire time. She did it and threw him under the bus as the easy target. She was mad that she was sleeping with her COUSIN and having kids with him and he was looking outside the family tree for a new girl. Baby was prob crying and she was in meth rage and killed the baby

Pamela Morris I cant believe that neither defense attorney reference the fact that something woke up and scared the two year old. Think back to initial arrival of police and what the mother said. She said the two year old was crying and upset and she was comforting her. Nobody, and I mean no oft even thought about the fact something woke up that two year old? Maybe I’m crazy but the two year old didn’t just come in there to tell them the baby was gone. She wouldn’t have just noticed that the baby wasn’t in there. Something had to bring it to her attention. She saw something and it woke her up and scared her.

Sorry, but this whole trial was weak. The states case was weak. The defense was definitely weak. The state has failed this child right from birth. There’s so much doubt. The ONLY thing that they proved was that: 1. A beautiful innocent child suffered greatly before death ( Neglect- the other child suffered as well ). 2. Meth was abundant amongst this group of people. 3. And that they’re first cousins. Last I heard, addiction is a disease, not proof positive of murder. Did he tweak out and kill Caliyah? Maybe. But that’s going on feelings only. Did he have time to do it? Maybe. Did she set him up? Maybe. Did she do it? Maybe. Too much reasonable doubt. Guilt by emotions. We may never know. 💔❤️ R.I.P. Even if McNabb had not been reported for hurting a child previously, his damning evidence of violence upon other people , INCLUDING his very pregnant girlfriend , CANNOT be ignored. He definitely isn’t a stellar member of society but, I don’t get the sense that he’s a killer. I could be totally wrong though. The Mom seems more guilty in my eyes than Chris...but, once again I could be totally wrong. Regardless, they both were/are negligent parents & created an unsafe environment for their children. Such a sad case!
@ladyrasta5757
@ladyrasta5757 4 года назад
I agree these two people should not have had custody of any kind of children, hell they shouldn't even be allowed around animals! However, I think they are guilty as sin, 2 week old babies don't just walk away! Why would someone kill a new born? If it was a kidnapping who would kidnap a kid from a trailer park, the parents had no money to pay their own rent, let alone a ransom. If it was somehow drug related, drug dealers don't kill babies, the baby didn't take their drugs without paying, especially when the actual drug users are 3 feet away?! Not to mention Chris seems like a true leech and was asking someone else to supply him with drugs. If it was some woman desperate for baby, those type of abductors tend to keep the baby for themselves. I don't know any newborn that sleeps more than 4 hours so the timeline seems off! If someone was coming to the trailer with premeditated bad intentions then I'm sure they would not have used a bag that's already in the house, and who is looking around a meth head's house trying to steal their kid and stops to rummage around in their house for a damn bag! This is horrible situation, but I think perhaps they were both in a drug induce state and maybe he went to beat Courtney again while she was holding the baby, maybe she used the baby as some kind of shield against his blows and this was some half baked idea to keep them both out of jail!

@Lindsey0007 4 года назад
You took the words right out of my mouth! At first I really thought he did it but after listening to their jailhouse calls the first time that reconfirmed my original opinion, but after reviewing the calls again multiple times I think she did it and sounded like she was on speaker with the cops there by the phone trying to get him to admit he killed Caliyah. And just to clarify, just because I don’t think he did it doesn’t mean I think he is a good parent! Also, Chris has shown so much more emotion throughout this trial than Cortney has.

Casey S. Manning the toddler if you look at the injuries the mouth damage this is an easy problem to solve any toddler exposed to domestic violence will jam a bottle in the mouth of a baby doll most often literally beating it in the mouth. Now why would the grown father put the infants head through the arm hole of an adult T-shirt ? now give an adult T-shirt to a toddler and tell me 9 out of 10 times what hole they pop their head through? He had no idea that baby was found in his bag. Police cam showed Courtney say the toddler is always trying to pick the baby up and carry her around is that a quick idea thrown in Incase they come across the bag before mommy can get rid of it? she also stated in that same footage that they were asleep while the two little ones were in the back until they were woken up by the toddler freakin out. Ok so toddler plays aggressive mommy baby and dress up probably drops baby a few times then puts baby in a bag to carry like a purse and normally if heels are around they throw some nice heels on with the ol diaper but they always toss the baby in the bag especially if no stroller is near by. Now the question is who found that bag with that baby knew what was up and got rid of the bag. If he never left with a bag and he did leave from the home to go look around question one was Courtney saying “they say she was found in your bag” but already knew this and was this why she kept needing to stop to get extra high and run from her demons orrrrrr did she demand on stopping by that piece of shit mothers house to “get high” to actually see if the emotionless addict she didn’t know of a mother had handled some business for her. If anyone would have been able to leave a kid in the woods and sit on the stand with zero emotions that piece of crap would. My theory is the toddler because honestly I don’t think anyone else would really have stopped to cause this type of damage but a toddler well we have all witnessed how they dress a doll feed a doll punish a doll especially if they have witnessed violence in a home. The head through the sleeve and that police cam footage did it for me . The question is who found it and got rid of it. Maybe a mother who never behaved like a mother and felt she could do something for her kid I mean especially when it turns out it’s two relatives fuckin anyway. On the case with Sarah L .

The mouth damage the head damage turning the brain to liquid would be overkill for a grown man to have an accident with the baby . Hand a T-shirt to a toddler and tell me the first hole they pop their head through? 8 of 10 times it will be an arm hole now the autopsy woman says the baby’s head was through the arm of the shirt now give a toddler a baby doll and a bottle especially one exposed to domestic violence and the toddler will force feed and even strike the doll in the mouth angrily force feeding the doll. So the mouth trauma. Now go watch the police cam of the first officer in the trailor and the mother says they were asleep while the toddler and newborn were in the back. Now how would anyone take the baby and get past the parents no need because the toddler played dress up puttin the baby’s head through the arm of the T-shirt wrapping it in the blanket and guarantee decided to use the bag to now carry the baby around. Ok pause now Courtney says the toddler was screaming freaking out and based on the same body cam footage the bag could have easily just been in the pile of stuff. Ok so how did the bag get to the woods .... based on testimony and I watched all of it lol they had MANY MANY people in and out of the house searching. Cool so let’s say spin searching just one of those people opened a bag found the baby that Clarissa had fed changed and carried around and decided they were not gonna let the toddlers life be traumatized with the idea that she killed her new born baby sister over simply letting the very disliked Chris mcnabb take the charge so they put the bag in that special area. If I had to guess I’d say the very disconnected mother of 7 who didn’t admit she was Courtney’s mother and very easily could put a dead baby in a bag in the woods like it meant nothing. Listening to the jail house call you easily can tell he had no idea the baby was found in his bag. His voice is totally different when something like he was messaging another woman was the topic. He’s a piece of shit but the way the baby was found and the damages would have been pointless overkill but a toddler who it was also stated was always picking the baby up was who did this and the baby was put in the woods later. I rest my case.

I just finished watching this trial and I’m thinking along the same lines .. I think the toddler was playing with the baby and something happened. Chris and Courtney panicked and tried to cover it up .. no, they weren’t the best of parents and had lots of problems but I don’t think they physically did this horrible crime. Chris needs the shit kicked out of him for beating up on Courtney but I really think this all points to the toddler! That precious baby girl .. Rest In Peace! 💫🕊

If that happened why wasn't there any blood found in the house? The state said he killed her in the kids room during a meth rage. She was struck with a blunt object. Yet no blood was present in the house at all. No murder weapon was found either. They were definitely convicted based on their character rather than evidence. Not saying they're innocent, but what if someone else did kill the baby? We won't know because the forensics side of the investigation was conducted so poorly. Also the cadaver dogs were out searching for the baby in the same woods a day before she was found. So Chris had the baby in a spot the k-9s couldn't find, then moved her back 100ft from his house? That doesn't make any sense. It rained the first night she went missing, then she was found the next day, completely dry. There are a lot of strange details in this case that created more than enough reasonable doubt.

I think the parents should both be in prison. For her murder specifically? Maybe not but for negligence and putting her in that situation to begin with. I also think whoever made the decisions to allow her to leave the hospital with those freaks should also be held accountable. Had someone truly cared and taken that baby from those meth heads, put her in a loving home with her sister she’d be alive today. So CPS should 100% be held accountable every single time they allow these parents, who they KNOW are always high to have the freedom to take a sweet innocent baby home. They KNOW what kind of people they are yet they send them right on home with a little innocent baby. So yes, every time this happens, the CPS workers involved and agree to let the parents take the babies home should be held accountable and maybe, just maybe less babies will die or be severely harmed 😭

The rest (that he beat his girlfriend, that he did meth, where the body was found, his reactions when it was found -as other people said- those are all circumstances of the case, not any sort of evidence. I want to hate that guy as much as everyone else, but being a drug-addicted incestuous hillbilly who beats up his girlfriend doesn't prove beyond reasonable doubt that he murdered his daughter. I've read people claim that the prosecutor said that McNabb's 2 year old had mentioned that "daddy hit the baby". Most 2 year olds I've seen can barely talk, but leaving that aside, if it's the truth, a judge sentencing a man to life in jail with only a bag as evidence based on the prosecuting attorney's account of the off-records words of a toddler much, *much* too young to legally act as a witness would blow my mind.

Starr Miller So you are talking about the prosecutor? Where she grabs her tan shirt and pulls it up? Then you should say that... not some (ms tired) WTH does that even mean. So let me help you on how to properly make a complete sentence. “ I believe the prosecution lady with the tan top, should dress appropriate and buy clothes that fit” that is understandable and if the judge had a problem I’m sure he would have said something to her a LONG time ago. Do you really think this is the first time in THAT court room with THAT judge. lol 🤦🏼‍♀️🤦🏼‍♀️ Are you saying you’ve never EVER had to adjust your clothing ie: blouse, underwear from a butt crunch, pants or skirt. Unicorn Queen if you are going to ridicule someone for a comment they made and show them "how to properly make a sentence", I suggest purchasing yourself a copy of the Oxford Dictionary of Spelling, Punctuation and Grammar. Perhaps, with some effort, you could learn how to insult someone's grammar, without making grammatical errors yourself. And by the way, do you know what happened to the lady that kept correcting everyone's grammar and acting obnoxiously smug? She had no friends.

Cops were waiting at the other side of the path so he ditched the baby in his bag. He was in the woods at the time police were at his house. It's common sense he did it. Shit maybe she did and he ditched the baby or the fact they left a 2yr old alone in there, they were passed out from doing dope so the 2 year old was trying to help her, dropped her dad found her and disposed of the baby. Something happened, but he definitely hid that baby girl in those woods.

I think a worse meth-head who frequented that house did it to get back at one or both of the parents. A jilted girlfriend of Chris or scorned boyfriend of Bell's? A ripped off drug dealer, or a jealous somebody...If an enemy were trying to mess up their lives, they had opportunity and certainly made their objective. The one reason why the jury thought they(the defendants) did it was because they were not asking WHO could have done this - and seemed more concerned about being blamed for this than for the child. They are being judged on their reactions to all of this when we all know we don't know how WE would react if we were in their place. I do not think they are guilty of this, I think they are guilty of a great deal, but not of murdering their own baby. In the police video of the trailer it was a bit messy and cluttered, but not filthy. The jury had no concrete evidence beyond the shadow of a doubt to convict. These two need an appeal. They need a good lawyer. Sure, they may seem like "trailer trash" to some. I see two young parents who probably felt up against life in the first place (poverty). Maybe they are not as intelligent as you or I, but no matter what, they are people like we are all people and deserve to be judged on the merits of this case, and not on things that have nothing to do with it or some speculation. There is big reasonable doubt here. Big. People think they cried because they got caught. I can plainly see they are crying FOR their child, and then have to deal with this circus.

Yes that been a law it's like a gut feeling basically saying I believe you did it even if we didn't have strong evidence or no evidence my heart tell me you are capable of doing sum shit like this cause you smoke methamphetamine .so the jury's said to themselves that anybody who use a drug like methamphetamine are animals, cold hearted, cruel, violent behavior and the unthinkable and doesn't think about the consequences at the time of the crime because they have so much hatred in their minds and hearts for a human being life period...... so that's the picture the jury and prosecutors plus the judge painted. They don't care about visible evidence or signs they feel like who else had access to that baby around the time the baby was seen and why would somebody else kill the baby then place her in the woods that close to the parents house they feel like if anybody else who would wanted to kill that baby would have took her far from their home to hide her and their was unlock while they sleep at night who do that shit anymore now with all the dangers shig going on these days especially with kids in the house I know I make sure my doors and windows are locked before I go to sleep.so that what the judge, prosecutors and jury probably thinking like who do that the investigation report stated there was no evidence of tampering with windows or doors so how did the killer get in the house without the parents waking up that's because the killer was in the house that what the jury,prosecutors and judge were thinking I bet you a million bucks ) who else agrees with what I said how the jury, prosecutors and judge came up with a guilty verdict without evidence.

Reginald Brown We are screwed if our judicial system has resorted to emotions and not evidence.. I’m not saying they did or didn’t do it, however there was lack of evidence and the police botched a lot. For instance a 2 week old baby is not missing, therefore that trailer should have been a crime scene, no one should have gone in there tossing things around... they should have interviewed every single person no matter how long it took. Second they bring him in for a old warrant to get him to talk about a different issue, the baby “missing”. If this is the judges argument then EVERY child should be taking away for “possible” death by drug addict parents. However there is no trials or test that state if you do drugs you are automatically an evil, vile murdering person.. our system is failing us so much, our jails are filled with petty crime offenses causing the tax payers almost 61,000 a year per inmate! This is nuts! Thanks Regan for taking away all our mental health facilities 🤦🏼‍♀️

That’s the law in all U.S. states Amanda. There is literally no weight difference between direct & circumstantial evidence. Circumstantial evidence can in fact be MORE compelling than direct evidence. Ever heard of eye witness testimony (direct evidence, confessions) ending up being actually impossible to be true? On the other hand, like the classic “circumstantial evidence” example, if you wake up one morning and there’s snow on ground and it wasn’t there when you went to sleep- the circumstantial evidence is - it snowed last night. That’s evidence a jury could rely on. Even tho they did not see with their own eyes that it snowed. That’s why ALL state laws say that circumstantial evidence is to be treated with as much weight as direct evidence. Full stop.

@@cateellington4081 first off. Just no circumstantial evidence is not even close to as good as direct evidence normally. The snow example is a perfect case of circumstantial evidence being almost as good as direct evidence. Yes it is possible that someone could have transported in a large area around you but it's very unlikely. In this case the circumstantial evidence is no where near as good as in the example you used. The baby was gone from the trailer and dead in chris's bag in an area where he is known to hide stuff. If we were going by chance of a different random person killing Chris's daughter and putting her in his bag and burying her, then it would be beyond a reasonable doubt. But we know that other people know that chris has a place where he hides stuff. Not beyond a reasonable doubt, but most likely the killer would be someone who is around the area. Knowing this you can't say without a reasonable doubt that someone else who knew about Chris's hiding spot couldn't have framed him using his bag to really sell the "fact" that Chris Mcnabb is guilty. There is not enough evidence to convict Chris and his wife.

Under US law, a defendant or subject is automatically presumed innocent until proven guilty beyond a reasonable doubt. However, these two defendants are hosed not only because they’re guilty but because their public pretender’s are useless attorneys. I truly mean no disrespect but, where do they find these guys? I mean seriously, I don’t even pretend to know law, I am only a pilot of an airplane but, it seems like these guys don’t even have simple common sense.

James Johnson yes, it’s scary when ones freedoms relies upon having amazing luck when randomly assigned a public defender. That one decision, which public defender is assigned, can mean the difference between going free or going to prison. Unfortunately, this fact is why a disproportionate number of lower income individuals are convicted. Because if you have money, you have the benefit of hiring the best defense available. Certainly, none of this means these two are innocent! I’m only agreeing that the system is inherently unequal.
