If a woman loves her man, she supports and sticks with him. Elizabeth doesn't seem to be doing that. She's acting like a spoiled girl . Lucas is better off without her.
Chris is a great actor for the Hope Valley story and I am glad e is staying. I am not a fan of Nathan and Elizabeth getting together. They each have a lot to work on in themselves.
Watching Chris McNally be in love is a real treat! He does it so well that he makes us all think it's real. Let drab Elizabeth get with Nathan and give Chris a new love interest to thrill us all!

It will be to hard to watch the love triangle again. Elizabeth is a strong woman and to smart to fall for a mountie again. Especially one that is to shy to even talk to her. I can't imagine Elizabeth without Lucas.
I was going to stop reading all information regarding Season 10 & Season 11....just can't take anymore disappointment. But then I see how many fans are still in disbelief on how Season 10 went that I have to put in my 2 cents. I understand that Brian Bird basically believes what he hear's from the Hearties Official fan page, which is mostly thoughts from TN fans. So him & Lindsey Sterman think breaking the engagement with Lucas & giving Nathan a storyline with Elizabeth is a great idea....no matter how ridiculous it really is. And Erin's apology to TL for being upset about the engagement breakup is insulting. I thought she would at least see that it's not just that the engagement was cancelled, but the way it was done. Anyway, I heard there's a Hallmark website where we can voice our disappointment with what they've done with WCTH & actually be listened to. Does anyone know of this website? I want to voice my opinion. I'm not sure it will do any good, but at least I can say I tried before I stop watching the show I once loved & respected. Thank you 😢
I totally agree with Sharon Norton. I often find that I don't have to add anything because she conveys my feelings so well!!! I have said it before, and I will say it again. This "show ruiner," as I call her, has ruined this once great series. I have been a fan since the pilot episode and haven't missed an one since. I bought the DVDs of each season as soon as they were available. Words can't express how disappointed I am with the way they unrealistically changed the storyline last season!!! I will NOT be watching this upcoming season. It will be interesting to see how many other once loyal fans react the same way. I already miss my once favorite series!!!
So if Elizabeth is so worried about losing another mountie, why would she choose Nathan? Does Nathan not have any pride after being dumped by Elizabeth? I think Elizabeth and Lucas are intellectually matched and their chemistry is great!! Little Jack lives him too, she was not even thinking about her son's feelings. Yes. Chris should remain in Hope Valley and not be moved to the Capital. That was what the fans expected. Shame on Elizabeth for assuming and breaking his heart without having a thought that he may make Hope Valley the new capital. That was what was discussed may happen. Elizabeth should have prayed and discussed with Joseph and Minnie before she broke up with Lucas. Need to tell the show runner and Brian Bird to get Lucas and Elizabeth back because there was an interview that Erin hinted that Nathan and Elizabeth would be having a slow moving relationship. We are hoping its not true but can't trust Lindsay Sturman and Brian Bird. They made explanations on their decision for season 10 and 11 and Lucas fans are upset with their choice for wanting Elizabeth with Nathan. Lindsay stated it that she purposely is dividing Lucas and Elizabeth to see that they are not on the same path. She wants Elizabeth to be with Nathan. 😤 Elizabeth was so mean and immature this season. Many of the characters were not acting like themselves and didn't have much of a storyline. Seasons 6-9 are much better than this season.
They wanted different things in life. It wouldn’t have worked in the long run. And the relationship lacked communication. Seems neither of them talked to each other about the important things and they both made assumptions.

They wanted to step away from the Mountie relationship to give her a different story on purpose and the flow made sense altogether even if they wanted different things. Lucas was willing to adapt. They have commented that he will be in Hope Valley in Season 11 recovering from getting wounded. They are saying that they want Elizabeth to start a new journey very slowly to go to Nathan. Most fans are saying that it will be a repeat of Jack's story. It will not be something new and it will be boring since they are going to drag it on to keep the series on the air. Many of the fans are not tired and uninterested in Elizabeth's love story. They want to see other characters instead of her and Lucas has become deserving of somebody of better character. Elizabeth's character this season was immature, cold, dishonest, and not a proper Christian attitude. Many issues have been brought up as several fans see that the writing this season was poorly done and that it is purely a retcon. They want to restart the series again and should have done it as a totally new show. The reasons Elizabeth gave were not inappropriate compared to what she has previously confessed and everyone who saw knows that she was passionately in love with Lucas. Her feelings for Nathan were not out of love for him that way as she still strongly loves Jack inside and grieves for him. People have said Lucas' character is more like Jack aside the grandeur and dreams.
@@julieletford5695 They already lost many fans by the time season 10 ended. Many of the Lucas fans have stated they only want to see the show now because of him. They don't care about Elizabeth because she can't be trusted. She is flipflopping and not ready for commitment. The biggest issue is that they broke the engagement which is against Christian standards making this show no other proper to watch. There are things they added that aren't biblical and others they removed. There are things that they never put it that Christians do. The series has gone downhill. It was okay but lacking the full scale of Christian living. Joseph and Minnie should have been involved in the process of Elizabeth's decision because realistically Christians are required to involve their pastor in the courtship to sort out any issues prior to the engagement. Then marriage follows after the engagement. Engagement is seen already as equivalent to marriage. It is symbolic of that. You can find details online. This is a major issue about the series. They removed prayer and church from most of the show too. It is rarely seen anymore. They don't talk as much about their faith when they are making decisions like they used to do. Abigail was best for this. None of the new characters have that. Joseph and Minnie have it but they don't show them enough mentioning about it in the show.
You mention them losing fans in season 10, funny because they lost a lot of fans in season 8 who have now returned, including myself! I think it will balance out with people coming back to watch and people leaving. I loved this season so much. Joseph was vital in guiding Henry in the direction TRUTH in season 10 as well. Remember Joseph giving Henry the Bible to read? Also, Joseph decided to go into full time ministry in season 10. I’m not sure why you’re saying they’re taking those things away, they’re not. Cannot wait for season 11!
@@lindseyhardin5458 I am aware that they have Joseph in there talking to Henry but fans were expecting more pastoring on his part this season. As I mentioned, the scripting was not matching with the previous seasons. They wanted to restart again. Nathan fans will always think that the show is good this way but Lucas fans will not. There will always be a divide. Perhaps you did not notice that Elizabeth and other characters were not acting as themselves. Even Fiona's role was compacted down to mainly match making even though she did have a part in the radio. Fans expected her to play a bigger role. Mei's character was changed so that she would be suitable for Mike. She didn't do much pharmacy work. She did a bit of facial and was mostly in the hair salon or Abigail's cafe. Faith's doctor role was also brief. People even said Nathan did very little mountie business. It was squeezed into one or two episodes. They liked what they did with Henry, the Coulters, and Canfield's. They had great storylines. Everyone else's was squeezed in. Most people commented that it wasn't what they promised even for these characters. It was not just about Elizabeth and Lucas' relationship that they didn't like. Bill also had a good storyline with Madelene. The breakup storyline was not that natural as people say. Lindsay even said she wanted to make so that they would separate. Had it been done a different way it would not have turned out the same results. The original promotion that they gave for season 10 was that there would be a wedding but turns out that they changed it towards the end and tried to make a script that they thought would work but for people who are skilled writers they judged the writing and said it was awful. THe biggest problem with this is it is not right according to Christian beliefs to break an engagement so no matter what people say its still wrong. It is the principle that they should have respected. I have watched all the seasons and know that this series is not fully embracing a full base of Christianity. Over time, it has reduced the screen time of scenes that focus on conversations where characters talk about praying to God. Henry is only one out of many characters. Elizabeth also used to talk a lot more about her beliefs before but this version of her is different and more into the modern day. She doesn't even Joseph and Minnie for guidance when she needs it. Instead, she consults Rosemary who is not a pastor.
So, I am thinking when the series resumes there will not be a time jump as in the past. We need to see the what and why of what happened to Lucas. PLEASE place E and L back together!
I didn’t watch the last three, although I recorded them. After reading some of the reviews, I deleted them and canceled the upcoming season. How could a grown woman be so fickle with men? How could she be helping her students to become productive society members? She doesn’t know what she wants or needs. I can’t waste anymore of my time on WCTH!
I wont be happy having to watch him watch Elizabeth and Nathan. That just is too messed up. What a punch in the gut to the viewers. It totally makes no sense. What are they going to do, get him with Faith or Fiona? I dont think so.

I keep noticing Nathan fans do not understand there is more to the issue. I think they don't realize that they are basically asking Elizabeth to forever be destined to a man who will always put his life in danger. At least, Lucas can be back in Hope Valley but the issue now is Lucas fans are already upset that they reversed everything that happened in seasons 6-9. I have to agree to that. Once they break the engagement, they broke the first principle of Christian marriage. They couldn't do that in the 1920's as marriage is a sacrifice of both partners to each other and the town. Engagement means commitment for marriage and states that the couple already sorted any issues prior to engagement. This storyline is really messed up and that the show runner and Brian Bird do not follow the rules that are set in place but chose to break them and start over again and fans are tired of Elizabeth being single and her having an emotional breakdown. She is playing a game with men's hearts. Terrible.

I love Lucas. The man is so good looking and such a good guy on the show. I was always a Lucas rooter. I sure hope when all the twists and turns are finally resolved that Elizabeth and Lucas are back together and throw the biggest wedding ever.

Elizabeth did say, she chose Lucas because he was safe. I never thought Lucs would be written out. Politically there is too much going on. The story line the writers presented for Lucas stole his strength. Lucas was tied to whatever Elizabeth wanted. The Elizabeth character socks the air of the story. If they are writing Elizabeth uniting with Monty Nate, that would work, like Monty Jack, Nathan will retain his strength.
I don't think Elizabeth suits Nathan. Despite Lucas' big dreams and grand gestures. He has actually matched with Jack and Elizabeth and him a lot more in common. Her interaction with Nathan is overshadowed by her loss of Jack more than her feelings for him as a friend. She is still grieving over Jack. She is not even clear minded because of her grief. Season 10's version of Elizabeth and most of the characters is out of place as they don't even act like the same people in the previous seasons. The writing is offtrack,

I would love to have Lucas come back to Hope Valley and tell Elizabeth that he loves her and should get married already and hoping Elizabeth feels the same way with Lucas. And not with Nathan. Nathan deserves someone like Fiona. Hoping they will get together 😊.
@@kozetagjergo8107 - that is so true. The thought that E is saying now that she picked Lucas because he was the "safe" option is so ridiculous. She loved that man through and through if anyone watched S9, giving him the pocket watch "Our Time Has Come". and almost begging for an engagement ring when she got earrings from him for her birthday. He had a lot going on around then, none the least of which was just getting out of jail being wrongly accused. The showrunner and writers know nothing about the history of the show nor the characters and just wanted to flip the show, for whatever reason we'll probably never know, but the writing made no sense and it changed E as well as everyone else into people we don't recognize to try and "explain" the new narrative???. She told Lucas at the train station that she couldn't give him her whole heart, and it could be seen that she was a very confused and what appeared to still be an emotionally damaged woman, showing her going to the gravesite and covering her engagement ring when "talking" to Jack about the upcoming wedding? That's a telling sign that it still has to do with Jack, and she shouldn't be exploring her feelings with Nathan just because she felt she never gave them a chance. The whole thing is very messed up. She went a second time to the gravesite and talking about her feelings for Lucas. There was no continuity of the Lucas and Elizabeth storyline from S9 to S10 - they clearly wanted to change the script and major storyline and in doing so they ruined the most beautiful love story ever told on TV. The show will never be the same.
Elizabeth is more suited to Nathan; She only chose Lucas because she thought she would be safe from losing him as she did Jack.. Lucas is wonderful and I hope he stays, but he needs a gal from the city to share his dreams and his success oriented personality. I hope they do not bring Jack back. As much as I liked them as a couple, I like that Nathan is a single "dad /uncle" who will better understand what little Jack needs, plus Alley needs a mom.
If she does that, she will forever live her life with expectation that the man could die. Sorry to say that but it sounds like people are making her destined to be in that sad life.
I for sure will continue to watch is Chris McNally is staying. He really has great chemistry with E. Nathan and Eliz were very boring for me. Just can't see them together. If Elizabeth doesn't get back with Lucas then she needs to stay single. Nathan needs to more on with someone he has chemistry, whoever that may be. Just not a fan of nathan. Love many of the other actors. For me Lucas really made it much more interesting. Relates well with everyone.
Me and my familyand friends quit watching the show when he came to the show and was put with Elizabeth when she belongs with the mounty he's Never been a great character and we will never watch the show again till he's gone

Am good with Nathan & Elizabeth getting together. They both love Hope Valley in similar ways that are different from Lucas’s. She & Lucas, it seems, will always be close so that is a good thing. Feel sure there will be a love in his life before too long.😊
