Take a glance behind the scenes at when Chris Moyles sneaked out of his BBC Radio 1 show in Aberystwyth (without telling Comedy Dave, Tina or Dom...) to go off and run with the actual Olympic Torch!
Chris you are a real inspiration to what can be achieved in life and listening to you all has bee a great pleasure. I wish you all the luck for the future and you will be missed i know it radio will never be the same. Tina your one hot girl, Dom dont call me Baldy surely is the best you done dave well keep skating and alled well your alled
Love the tune.... When you walked in with your sun glasses on you could well be an A grade celeb then you started talking, Ahh radio 1 Chris Moyles the main stay of my home from school now off to work DJ, thats a completely different class.. Ps that police officer, hottie :-)
A.MA.ZING! my mum was going to nominate me for the torch cos of my CVS but she didnt have time to, too much going on. but going to buy a torch from my friend.
I was lucky enough to carry the Olympic torch before. Coca cola we're doing we're doing a sponsored event at Alton towers and let lots of people take pictures while holding the olympic flame
Now that Chris has left, it's a bittersweet little thing for me that I've got the two top comments on this page. But Chris, if you ever read this, I have to say you really were the only reason I listened to Radio 1. That, and I will never consider myself old enough to listen to Radio 2. As much as I don't hate Grimmy, he will never, NEVER be able to fill your shoes, nor will he be able to attract the numbers Ben's after. It's a mistake, they will realise sooner rather than later. Be Good xx.
Have to say, I saw this coming a mile off, and given the millions and millions of pounds Chris (& his team) have raised for charity, he's more than deserving of the honour of carrying the torch. 5 years ago, probably not. Chris is NOT the man he was 6 years ago, and the moronic haters on here are obviously the types who know nothing about him, and the life changes he's made since then. I think I can pinpoint the exact moment he changed. It's the day he apologised to Nicola from Girls Aloud
These people shouldn't have been picked to carry the torch!! I would much rather watch someone that I had never heard of but I knew that he/she was picked to carry it because they had either helped their community in a number of different ways, undertaken in a variety of voluntary work and played sport!! Not to a fat radio dj who does anything to get on TV and a guy who's name might I remind him is "William" for having an album to sell and being in the blackeyed peas!! That's what's wrong with
