Before he was dominating defenses in the NBA, Chris Paul led Wake Forest to consecutive NCAA tournaments from 2004-05. Paul won the ACC Rookie of the Year and was named a First Team Consensus All-American before declaring for the 2005 NBA Draft. See where it all started for CP3 here.

Stockton was so good because he had Karl Malone to feed all the assists too all his points assists mainly were from Malone

There’s a reason why he’s the best leader in the NBA. He’s carried that stigma of leadership to the pro level

I wouldn't say he's the best leader in the NBA but he's really good tho.

I feel CP3 should've been part of the 03 draft or maybe the 04 draft

As someone who was raised as a Wake fan in Winston, and watched about 95% of his college games back when I was seven and eight years old, I can say that for as much of a Piedmont Triad legend as he was back in the day, and still is, CP3 was in no way, shape, or form ready for the ‘04 draft immediately after his freshman year at Wake, let alone going straight from West Forsyth High School to the NBA in the ‘03 draft. He declared himself ready for the NBA at the exact right time that he should have…….

Rip to the great Skip Prosser. Thing is CP wanted to go to UNC, but they never called. Wake forest did and the rest is history. Not to mention west Forsyth like 10 mins from wake lol.

Ever since the Lakers got LeBron and AD I think they should try to get Chris Paul too because they would have a big 3 they might even change numbers LeBron might go back to number 6 and AD will go back to 23
