Pop wouldn’t expect Chris Paul, a seasoned NBA veteran with 20 years of experience, to practice as intensely as the younger players. Pop respects Cp immensely, and he’s also load management creator.

Exactly what I’m saying. Pop’s not stupid, he’s doing to give Paul some flexibility and isn’t going to run him like a rookie. That’s like saying, “well if he’s starting he’s going to have to play 45 minutes a game.” No he’s not. Spurs are smart.

Chris Paul is a methodical guy. A meticulous blueprint oriented guy. I bet he is planning to coach after this. Perhaps be Pop's assistant coach for the next 5 years. His methodical style helped SGA to be a methodical and patient player. Hopefully, Stephon Castle can benefit from his mentorship.

As a Spurs fan, probably not man, but play-in might be a possibility. Even with picking up CP3, they're a super young team.

One can dream I put their ceiling at 7th seed for this upcoming year the only reason I won’t go higher is because last year their bench really didn’t come together it lost a lot of leads with VW off the floor

My god. it's called sports "talk" not sports yell. Some advice to the Carton Show. Viewers will tolerate some faded graphics, or an occasional frame lost, but the human brain cannot tolerate bad audio. It has nothing to do with the topics, or the on screen talent. It's a humanistic thing built into us as a creature. Think of animals in the wild. They only screech/yell when there's danger, and us humans instinctively avoid excessive noise. Your guests don't need to yell. Microphones have gotten really good over the years at6 picking up normal speech. Check your click through rates to see my point. You had 770 viewers and only 8 stuck around long enough to comment. P.s. If you think i'm just hating. I've got formal training and 30 years experience.

What's in it for Chris Paul is that he wants a future in coaching, and while the young Spurs will be mentored by one of the great PG's in league history, so too will Chris Paul be mentored by one of the greatest coaches in league history. Don't be surprised to see him back as an assistant on the SA sidelines in 2025-26

Paul was released. He didn't turn down 30 million who does that at 40. This show is a joke I only watch it until Get up come on. It's a reason it's in the 6am slot central time.

I would love to see Chris end his career with the Spurs and transition to a coaching role. It wouldn't surprise me to see him take over for Pop once he hangs it up.
