But Peach was from the real world, what if they met as Kids before? I mean that would make much more sense than just Luigi! Him getting kidnapped created The Internet’s Bowser x Luigi that is 🤮 right now so it makes sense for Peach to be kidnapped now!
2:55 mario: luigi! luigi: mario!! screaming mario: gimme your hands mario: its all gonna be okay! luigi: how is it gonna be ok??? mario: everythings gonna be alright as long as were together!!
Well, the best attempt at transcribing this clip: Mario: Luigi! Luigi: Mario! Luigi: (Screaming) Mario: Agh, give me your hand! Mario: It’s all going to be okay! Luigi: No, it’s not gonna be okay! Mario: We’ll be alright as long as we’re together!
I love how in the extended clip of Mario and Luigi, Mario is clearly trying to stay positive and calming down Luigi. I really hope there are more moments like that in movie!
@@Mr_bukowski4435 I think Luigi has had a lot of characterization but Mario hasn’t had much, he’s had his small moments before but I’m interested to see what they do with him in this movie
@@Mr_bukowski4435 I really love the aspect of Mario in this movie of him truly loving his brother and would do anything to save him. Mario immediately trying to calm Luigi shows me that Mario knows how Luigi tends to have a lot of anxiety and fear in certain situations and knows to get him to relax even in intense situations like not even knowing where they’re going. I might be reading too much into such a short clip in a most likely simple movie for families but I love this little moment so much.
This is basically how any interaction between Mario and Luigi in the games has gone, though. Like in the Mario & Luigi games, when someone questions Luigi’s moral fiber and Mario defends him.
Aww! That all just makes it more sad how they say they’ve always worked together, and have been inseparable. Than after Mario says it’ll be okay as long as they’re together, they get separated🥺😓! I want there to be a BIG HUG when they reunite❤️💚!
I’m thinking what Mario and Luigi are saying in 2:54 Mario: Luigi!!! Luigi: Mario!!! Mario: give me your hand. Luigi it’s all going to be okay. Luigi: how is this going to be okay!?!?! Mario: I promise you everything is alright as long as we’re together.
Everyone is talking about the extended scene and what Mario and Luigi are saying, but why is no one talking about how if you listen closely, you can hear the amazing score!
@@bigfuzzy usually the actual film in the PAL version sounds fine, at least the movies in my experience over here in the UK... ones I have seen its only the marketing thats the issue. It sounds fine in the trailer itself for the UK version.
I think the reason Luigi was unable to maintain hold on Mario, and vice versa was because Luigi had his toolbox with all his heavy equipment pulling him along.
I saw the super Mario bros movie and Chris Pratt and Charlie Day are wonderful in that movie and the super Mario bros movie is the best and it's a masterpiece movie ever
I think basing Chris Pratt's knowledge of Mario off of just the Koopa video isn't the best. I do believe the guy is a fan of the games, maybe he just forgot that day. I'm hyped for this movie and his iteration of the character
Well, whenever Nintendo and Illumination make a sequel to the Mario Movie, with Chris Pratt and Charlie Day for Mario and Luigi voice actors of impersonation I'm sure they can add more characters like Yoshi, Boo and Bowser Jr in it.
Too bad the presenters of the BBC One Show don't know about Donkey Kong Country as it's being a British game from the creators of Rare. Donkey Kong is a 2D side scrolling game.
Took me until the very end of the clip to realize that the blonde sitting there quietly was Paris Hilton, lol. Anyways, I’m going to see this movie mainly for my guy Charlie Day as Luigi. Gotta support the Always Sunny gang. But the movie actually looks like it will be good, too.
I don't know if I like some of the changes to the characters they decided to do with princess peach. Granted, it does make sense that they change it because it makes sense to have a person who is familiar with the land to be your guide to travel somewhere. However, her personality reminds me more of Princess Daisy rather than Peach. This begs the question of what they would do if princess Daisy were introduced in a sequal since their personalities are too similar.
Daisy takes any opportunity to ditch the girly Princess stuff whereas Peach revels in the aesthetic and never lets it hold her back. You'll notice she only changes out of her dress in the movie so that she can ride a motorcycle.
Some people will eventually have to get used to the Chris and Charlie with the Mario and Luigi impersonations even the great Charles Martinet does the Mario and Luigi voices behind the Mario and company video games. Can't be that bad, the Mario Movie is going to look incredible and all of us on this comment page can't wait for it on April 5th.
@@leilathomas2536 Because the version of this character is from brooklyn, before he became Super Mario. That's why he doesn't talk like he does in the video games, at least initially.
Welp how about waiting for the movie and see if he does it lmao wait for the release we don’t know if that’s how is gonna go and the trailers just trolled us
@@ZinnYT if that’s how he gonna sound then I’ll not have a problem cause it sounds fine to me, he’s it’s not perfect or Great Italian Marinet Mario or good like this vid but from what I’ve heard in those new footage of his voice I’m ok with it, plus if it sucks im still gonna be a Pratt fan, same with the rest of the cast
"in the original game, nineteen-eighty-something..." Ugh, Chris Pratt. The game came out in 1985. You need to know this stuff if you're the voice of Mario! Lol, it's not really that important. I just think it's funny.
There was a Japanese media interview with Shigeru Miyamoto (the creator of Mario) and when he first met Chis after being cast, he jokingly quizzed him on what he knew about the games. Miyamoto was impressed that he knew his stuff all the way back from SMB on the Playchoice 10 to talking about his favorite stages in Super Mario 3, favorite power ups (tanooki suit and frog suit) and the different characters, and how his son is obsessed with Mario Odyssey. So it looks like Chris is a legit fan and knows the source material.
