@@T1Oracle Jada butterfly tattoo share done got his low testosterone levels down tell little willy they make medicine for that now so he goes from a slap to crying taking about he is a vessel of love you ain't one love one heart will
3:46 I love this with Chris Rock and David Letterman. Chris Rock is roasting him non-stop. He didn't let up. Dave keeps his cool through the whole thing. No slapping.
And I think Chris did well to roast him so that people could move on. And after that no one even talked abt it and in the next show David was more at easy 😂.
When Chris gets going you can't touch him. And that is what everybody knows. That is why the Academy keeps bringing him back. And his poise after the Will incident was simply spectacular.
Thanks for the likes. And hopefully Will gets the message that life doesn't. Maybe now him and Jada can sit down somewhere and enjoy the good life they have been given. Why anyone thought it was okay with all that madness they have been putting out on the personal side,is besides me.Nobody has to tell you that you doing wrong you already know. The Academy is prestigious, and their not.Thats why they ain't coming back no more, and that's it.
Man, this dude been cracking jokes and roasting celebrities for the longest and minding his own damn business. It's painfully obvious he loves making jokes and doing comedy, he deserves way better than to be slapped on the job. That bs from Will was way out of line.
I remember people saying it was staged a day after, a few days after but most of those people at least realized how awful of a take that was eventually. Makes no sense for Will, Chris or the Academy to stage that. I guess there's still a few people left who just want things to be fake that badly. It's weird man.
@@stevenleblanc8146 its fine. U more worried about it being weird than the truth 😂u think will would defend jada over a dumb ass joke? Man… if im weird, yall on something else. I hope it wasnt staged but that shit clear ass day
@@mauricior362 Getting an Oscar ban, removed from Academy, doing whatever spiritual shit idk wtf he was off doing afterwards but yes, it is clear as day. Name tarnished, no work for who knows how long. It wasn't staged. Let it go. Not every damn thing has to be a hoax. In what world does Chris Rock have a reason to go along with some grand charade at his own expense? In what world does Will Smith have any reason whatsoever to turn into Ashton Kutcher? They are both at or very near the top of their respective careers. The kind of work it took to get there is hard for most people, including myself, to even fathom. But yeah, let's go ahead and make a mockery of all that for some hoax that does what exactly? Smh. You gotta give that up it's just unhealthy for your mental fr.
This is why I don't understand why Will and Jada were so upset! They know Chris Rock and they know how he rolls when it comes to his comedy. He is HILARIOUS!!
Felicia Eaves Jada Pinkett is the one who instigated the issue. Will Smith, despite him bearing much of the blame wasn’t initially upset about the joke. But he’s been stressed out about his marriage and was trying to keep it together when Jada snapped and got him to go up there. Smith is a good man but was lacking strength mentally
@@jerry5449Jada didn't make him go up there. Will laughed, she rolled her eyes, and then Will was like, Lemme go slap him. Jada and Chris have always bickered like this, it was just their thing.
Because if you know industry talk.. Chris has tried to make advances at Jada back in the day. Since then he’s been “joking” on her. At what point does joking become bullying?? You can’t use your line of work to target a specific person. Yes he joked about everyone but not everyone has that type of history with Rock. Not saying will was right but that’s the why
@@MadCircle01 Nobody was as sure abt him then as they are now. He's released two albums since this award show aired. Ppl were suspicious back then, now they are certain.
@@MadCircle01 Bro, I didn't say nobody knew about the allegations, I'm saying nobody was SURE. There was still a lot of doubt back then. I don't even know why ur arguing with me. If you disagree then move on to another comment. Ur being annoying.
Will Smith really screwed up… not only is Chris Rock going to absolutely destroy him but many other comedians are too. Rock is loved by many other great comedians.
@@thcluky5547 a hero? It was a joke by a comedian! Will is a coward. If the Rock said that joke he would have just sat there like the little bit*h he is!!!!
The letterman clip is wonderful. Chris starts with the cliche comments, then goes right for Dave's personal life, then brings it back to himself, and lets Dave get a couple in. Mastery
Check 1.23 where he refers to Jada and 8.51 where he says “everybody acting black” while Will applauds. I hope Chris’s standup and career skyrockets because of this
Man I dunno. His mind is very sharp so he finds suitable jabs very quickly, but the actual content of them isn't all that intelligent. He reminds me of someone I knew who, like him, was bullied as a kid. Just goes around observing people and making fun of them.
@@hugoclarke3284 It takes a different kind of intelligence to be that quick witted. Most people would probably second guess a jab as the words roll out of their mouth. Just because Chris make it look effortless, does not make his brand of comedy any less humorous. Timing is also part of the game, and he sure as hell mastered that facet well.
@@purpledancerbmw5279 This is a comedian not a regular person. It’s his job to be over the top. If comedians just acted like normal people they would not have a job cause no one would need them.
I dont think you young bucks know that Dave was going through a major scandal at that time. Chris didn't care and that's what makes it the most savage out of this entire compilation
I noticed that Sly Stallone laughed at the Rocky joke. If he had slapped Chris Rock, he’d be in the hospital. But it wouldn’t occur to him to do that, because he’s secure enough to take a joke. Physical and mental strength.
@@TheChosenMoose01 Sly Stallone? Would have been called a racist? You've been watching too much Fox News. No way in hell he would ever be called a racist. Too much history demonstrating the EXACT opposite.
@@fearisthemind-killer No, I'm being realistic. He would've had to make multiple donations to charities, been deemed racist, and get shunned by everyone for slapping Chris.
@@beatrizm9451 hahaha nah hes right they are kinda creepy lol they look like little vampires everytime I see them huddling together and shit pale af lol
I love when Chris was joking about how terrible Letterman's voice sounded and also about going home to a mad wife. Letterman joked and laughed with him, you could see the friendship and love between the two of them. Love both comedians!!!
@@purpledancerbmw5279 that backfire, didn't it? Maybe he is jealous, we might never know, but he is a comedian! He is allow to get away with it in a civilized society. Does any one has asked him when to stop?
I thought the most amazing thing was Stallone's face. He wanted to smile so bad, his face just wouldn't allow it. The hardest rep he has ever done was pushing out that smile.
A helluva lot of men and women have gotten that phone call from their partner while out with their friends or at the bar or something... "You better come home right now, goddammit!!!" Uhhhhhhhh no. Nope, no thanks, not gonna do it. You sit there and cool off for a day or two, honeybunch, then we'll talk. Back in the day before cell phones, it was even worse. Because if you answered the phone they knew right where you were. So sometimes they'd come looking for your ass just to yell at you and make a big scene. Don't do that, people. NOBODY wants to see that.
You see how smart Dave Letterman is too? He subtlely says "keep going", which on the surface matches Chris's story, but he's really saying to Chris "this is good. Don't stop this joke yet". Chris went totally off the cuff after that, and even set up Dave's punchline. That's old school, HIGH LEVEL improv ability from both of them
IMO, I love his back and forth with Leno. That “straight to audio” was probably not the first time he told that joke BUT it hit so well and Leno was caught off guard and rolling
@@dennisbraxton3770 That laugh said that even he knew he starred in some bad movies. True fact is that one he did called Collision Course, he stated that on the last day of filming the movie ran out of money so they couldn't film some other scenes or even do post production or editing. This is probably the movie Chris Rock was referring too. Poor Jay. 😂
LOL. I remember a time when people would just laugh at jokes like this, or alternatively just ignore them if not to their taste, without getting all triggered. Pathetic snowflakery.
@Illuminati Sheep When you get bored of trawling the Internet looking for things to be offended by, try to enjoy Christmas with your friends and family. Assuming you have any friends or family who wish to keep in touch with you. And assuming the concept of the Christmas festival doesn't deeply offend you (let's be honest, it probably does), in which case have a nice festive period, happy holidays, or whatever you like to call it. I am now regretting engaging with a snowflake it's bloody hard work! :)
Will is gonna take a "sabbatical" and go on a "journey of self healing" blah blah in other words, he's gonna let the heat die down. Chris will be packing them in. His stock just went way up.
His observations were always so funny.. His take on the smallest things... like Whitney being kinda crazy too... it was always assumed it was just Bobby.
devolutionone * - You know the constant “He’s funnier than Kevin Hart” comment just makes Kevin Hart look like the “gold standard” of comedy or some shit. You guys are unwillingly making Hart look like the Michael Jordan of comedy.
@@jwdathefax377 Well the point is, Kevin Hart is getting all the movies and all the attention currently. Only one black comedian at a time can get the big bucks. It went, Cosby, Pryor, Eddie, Martin, Rock, Chapelle and now Hart.
It's funny, looking back at how ruthlessly he ribbed Letterman for his infidelities, I think Chris absolutely should have went with an "August" joke at the Oscars this year. The GI Jane 2 joke was way too tame for Will, he clearly wanted a much better "smack". Seeing how many times Will laughed at Chris' jokes over the years, it's still a very bizarre event.
Repent to Jesus Christ “Keep this Book of the Law always on your lips; meditate on it day and night, so that you may be careful to do everything written in it. Then you will be prosperous and successful.” Joshua 1:8 NIV Jm
That strahan/garbage man joke is probably something he’s said a million times to people but it’s really good. Such a quick wit and great set up and deliver
Like how could letterman not still have his boy?very funny.Chris Rock is the person who will say the things most people only think. He's such an articulate and precise comedian, one of the greatest. He's handled the Oscar attack like a true gentleman.More power to him.
Chris Rock. Love him or hate him. He’s an all time great. His improvisational skills are off the charts. The ultimate compliment for a comedian is when someone says “you’re funny.” This guy can make you laugh at things you probably shouldn’t even be laughing at. Lmmfao!!!
I really dig how sometimes when he's goin in on someone, he's just cackling at their responses and you can see he finds the whole thing hilarious. I guess it just makes it funnier because he's fully committed to the bit? He's so quick too. I didn't really get in to comedy until a little while back and it was only after I saw Chris Rock on Louie and in Dogma that I realised what a legend he was. So happy I get to enjoy his work now. I dunno if any of that makes sense, I'm still ignorant to a lot of what makes comedy work but anyway he's a genius in my book
The difference between a joke and crusing the line seems that people is so bad at comedy that can’t make people laugh without insulting someone you laugh all you want amd defend chris every way you want but lets see when someone makes fun at some close to you that you loved and have a disease let se you all tough people funny people
@@josemojica5117 Bro do you even speak English? If you want to argue online at least write coherent sentences please. Are you calling Christ Rock a bad comedian? You know he is one of the OG of comedy right? You said something about bad joke and disease? Hair loss is not a disease my friend. 85% of the human race experience balding. It's normal and is in human nature. Like getting old and die. I can agreed that the joke was pretty bad as in not that funny but it doesn't warrant physical assault. Cause you know this is how school shooter was created right? In a society where it ok to do physical harm to a person because of something they said. So what prevent them to take it up a notch and start shooting people?
