Chris Stapleton was in a band called the steel drivers before he went on his own into county. You definitely have to check out some of those songs. Blue side of the mountain, ghost of Mississippi, good corn liquor, where rainbows never die. You will not be disappointed I promise. You should also watch his live Austin city limits performance it awesome. Love the reactions keep it up my man.
Nothing like seeing his live videos! I love the fact he let's others shine, the other dude was Killin too! Wow! And I see you Morgan over there on the tambourine ministry! LOL ❤️❤️❤️❤️
Thank you for sharing this reaction. I love Chris Stapleton, but hadn't see this video on SNL. Loved it!! Love your reaction videos you're always so entertaining to watch love buddy. Blessings from Texas for you and your family 🙏❤️.
I always love your reactions! You really should react to some of Chris Stapletons songs with The Jompson Brothers, like , On The Run, Invisible, Blood On The Water. Also some of his Steel Drivers music, like Blue Side Of The Mountain and Where Rainbows Never Die,,,he is so absolutely amazing in anything he does...Love you keep up the great reactions!
This is what we call "Americana Music" A blend of country, blues, folk, rock, Bluegrass ...Look it up and You will find so many great Artist who ignore the mainstream rules and do what they want how they want !
The only thing wrong with that song is it's not long enough! Sturgill Simpson is a well-known mainly Bluegrass artist. He & Chris compliment each other well.
Just found your channel. Can't wait to dive into your videos. Love that you love Chris Stapleton! Have seen him twice, both were incredible shows. Look into The Jompson Brothers, the rock band he used to be in.
@@jamelakajamal Here's another one for you to check out. The Jompson Brothers, On The Run, with Chris on lead vocals. Another song that definitely doesn't disappoint.
Love this song - have you reacted to "Death Row"? Prison Chris Stapleton is my favorite Chris Stapleton. Chris loves sharing the spotlight. His friend here is Sturgill Simpson. That dude is amazing. He later(?) did his own SNL appearance, and he's just got ridiculous talent.
I know a lot of people have already said but it's Sturgil Simpson. He is a fantastic singer, song writer, and performer. The music industry has kept him on the outs. Turtles all the way down is another good one from him that you should check out.
Being a big metal fan primarily all I can ever say about Chris Stapleton is he is out of this flipping world.... they say country but when I hear him I feel the blues with a little country twang 😎
Haha, does sound funked up. He actually first did this song in a bluegrass band he was in called steeldrivers. Yes it was originally a bluegrass tune . Check out Steeldrivers , fantastic....Nuff' said.
Sturgill won the Grammy for best country album a few years ago. Then a month or two later he wasn’t even invited to the Country Music Awards. He stood outside the show and played his songs on 5he sidewalk! Damn shame he got shafted
You reallly want another funky awesome cover check out his live version of Allman Bro. "Whipping Post" with Gregg Allman in the audience. A standing ovation
