The Greatest collaboration every in CMA history!

This collaboration surprised me at first, but they did bring the house down. Keep Chris Stapleton reactions coming, I never get tired of that man's voice.

This is one of my fav performances ever! Justins band (The Tennessee Kids) are absolutely killing it! Obviously Chris and Justin are unbelievable together even tho you would never think of them together. What a sexy bromance!

Justin is from Memphis, so he has country roots.

This is a fantastic live performance, and they were obviously enjoying each other. Justin is a consummate entertainer, as is Chris. Couldn't have been better.

They did a video together called Say Something..It's fantastic..

They know Justin. Justin is Tennessee born. Chris is from Kentucky. They were in Nashville, Tennessee. Nashville is a 3 hr drive from where Justin was born. Justin is our native son.

This was the performance that really launched Chris ' popularity.

Timberlake is a Tennessee native and got his musical start in country, albeit a low-key one. He has since made a return to that genre. "Drink You Away" is in fact a Timberlake song. This night was a red letter moment for Stapleton as his debut solo album had just recently released and he was still relatively unknown as a solo act, though he had been in a group and was a well known songwriter for other artists. This moment changed that for all time. The woman at 6:34 and the guy in the blurry foreground (as well as the two in front of him who are seen in the previous crowd shot) are from Lady Antebellum. The blond woman at 6:41 is Jewel. The smiling guy at 13:20 is Jake Owen. Miss America Betty Cantrell was also seen wearing her crown. Jessica Biel (Timberlake's wife) makes a couple of appearances. Stapleton took home a lot of awards that night and most of the performances had to follow THAT and still look good. Oh, and "Tennessee Whiskey" is a George Jones original, I think some have mentioned this below. If you enjoy that writing then you might enjoy some of Jones' other works, if you haven't heard his catalog already. Just a few nuggets of information for you.

The crowd was just taking in something they knew was special. I mean how often do you see a superstar artist like Keith Urban compelled to take a video on his phone of a performance?

This performance is how I discovered Chris, i watched because Justin was going to perform and when Chris started singing I was like "Who the hell is this guy!" and I've been hooked ever since. You should for sure check out his collab with Justin "Say Something" which in on Justin's most recent album. Also check out "Either Way" by Chris, that's my favorite of his songs.

Justin has a lot of country influence in his life; he’s from Memphis, TN. They did a produced song on Justin’s last album called, Say Something. Check out Chris’ song “Midnight Train to Memphis”. It’s one of his faster songs but still has a ton of soul. Keep it up buddy!

Funny story about these two. Before Chris was popular. Timberlake heard him and his wife contacted Chris to play Justin's birthday party. That's how they met.

Say Something is a Justin Timberlake & Chris Stapleton song. I don't think they toured together. Chris Stapleton is of course, phenomenal.... Justin Timberlake is a great talent. The "I can't drink you away" is a song by Justin Timberlake. But dang Chris Stapleton can out sing anyone on this planet..... Chris is out of this world phenomenonal...

Chris Stapleton is well known to the Country World, he has written many hits for other artists, in the Country, Bluegrass, Pop & Contemporary genre's...Adele has recorded 2 of his songs..I am always amazed at people thinking that Chris just made it..He has won Artists of the year for the last 5 years, has several Grammy's etc...

People forget Timberlake is from Memphis so he has roots in that soul music and there is a huge country scene in memphis too so he's right at that musical nexus. I actually love that Timberlake song.

Jt was in a boy band 20 years ago, stop judging all his music off of that. He’s played multiple instruments, done production, writes all of his songs and for other artists, puts on one hell of a show every time and much more over his long career. Give that man his credit

Justin Timberlake can't hold a candle to Chris Stapleton. He's over-acting because he's intimidated by how cool Chris is. Chris looks killer in that long coat. I don't think his wife is singing this time.

That's Josh Grobin in 9:01,you might have heard of him.This video is okay,but I would have preferred to hear more of C Stapleton than JT.The only reason I feel they collaborated on Tennessee Whiskey is because Timberlake is from Tennessee,so it was more to make him look good than Stapleton.Just my opinion.
