@ThatguyPurps Chris is in his own genre! Please react to his live performance “2021 CMA Awards “Cold”. It’s 🔥🔥🔥 He won Grammys,CMA,etc for it. It’s 🔥 !! Always listen to Chris!! “Tennessee Whiskey (Austin City Limits)” Chris writes all of his own songs. He’s amazing !Also his live performances “Sometimes I Cry (Bing Lounge). Its is amazing!!
Always go for the live version with Chris. 🙂 For different sides to his music you should check out some of his stuff with the Steeldrivers, a bluegrass band he was in. If It Hadn't Been For Love is my favorite. For something more straight ahead country/pop I would suggest What Are You Listening To. You also might want to check out other southern rock bands in general if you've never heard them. Bands like Lynyrd Skynyrd, The Allman Brothers, and Creedence Clearwater Revival.
The entire Jompson Brothers album is 🔥. Song Ride my rocket is crazy good. Definitely more of a rock feel. He was also in the steeldrivers a bluegrass band. Chris Stapleton is the bridge that music has missed since legendary artists like Elvis and Prince etc. Unbelievable talent and love and appreciation for music of all kinds shows that he is a true artist.
Loved your reaction! Chris Stapleton is his own genre of music. A little country a little southern rock, blues he has it all! You should check out Austin City Limits I was wrong, or one of his newest songs "Cold". Actually any song of his you will not be disappointed. Also if you want to listen to different kinds of music, check out Homefree they are an A Capella group no instruments just their vocals and a beatboxer. They are a country A Capella vocal band but they sing all genres of music. Check out their cover of Boys to Men "End of the Road", their cover of "Man of Constant Sorrow", "When a Man loves a woman" . With Chris and Home Free you cant go wrong! Stay safe and healthy and have a blessed day!
💯 Chris Stapleton REALLY sings his guts out on this number! Right⁉️ He's absolutely amazing! Thanks for giving him a listen! Enjoy the ride! "Either Way" is another great one & his latest album Starting Over is so special! I prefer his Southern Rock days with The Jompson Brothers. They only recorded one album and there are some real bangerz on it! Peace, love and stay safe! 🔥🤘
About losing his girl, his heart is broken, if he survives, he'll be barely alive. Such a freaking great song. Check out death row, either way, cold... All amazing songs. You'll just never be able to get enough of Chris.
Not big on the mainstream... this is one of the artists from it I will listen to. Chris Stapleton is absolutely amazing! Since I see ya doing country, I have one for you: Home Free "Man of Constant Sorrows". They are a 100% acapella group; every sound is made by a human voice. The bass singer, Tim Foust, has a 5 octave range... he has blown subwoofers with his voice, while being able to sing tenor.
Since we lost Chris Cornell in 2017, Stapleton's been my favourite living male singer. He writes some great songs like Cornell did too. Truly top-tier stuff. I don't put a "country" label on Stapleton btw- his soul is about as country as Otis Redding's! LOL If you, like me, enjoy this crazy-talented-dude-with-an-acoustic-in-a-small-venue-blowing-yer-head-off vibe, treat yourself to this sometime: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-EuJuNCXDoGg.html There's a wee bit o' banter before he launches into the song, so I've timestamped it. ;)
They both Chris Cornell and Stapleton did a tribute for Nothing compares to you by Prince and both are 🤯 gotta say I prefer Stapleton version. He did it the night Prince died💕
FYI your tractor music preconceived notion is total BS, true country is relatable story telling, music that if person has any soul at all will dig deep within and touch places you never knew you had. You obviously need educating.
