Chris is currently my favorite country artist. I hadn't really listened to a lot of country in the last few years, I've been more into rock and heavy metal, but about a year ago I saw his Tennessee Whiskey video, and immediately had to have more.

Chris was in a band called “The Jompson Brothers”. Listen to any of their songs.

Not much on "country" anymore but Chris Stapleton is absolutely amazing. To ME he's not country, he"s blues and soul. Can thank his wife for him singing. She encouraged him to sing his own music. My son introduced me to a young ( Canadian singer) Colter Wall. Don't know if you've heard of Johnny Cash but this man sounds a lot like Johnny. My son likes the Devil wears a suit and tie among a lot more of his music. Sounds like the great country music I grew up on and this young man is from Canada. LOL didn't know that Canada could produce there own Johnny Cash. Just never know.
