You got a fan in me! The best interpretation I've heard so far! Music (especially for a songwriter/singer/artist) helps us process emotions, sort out feelings, remember big events, improve our mood and connect us to others. He is replaying the songs that make him think about them and her. He is sad that he doesn't have a connection with her anymore and doesn't know what she's listening/feeing/experiencing. Love it. May not be a powerful vocal or performance, but definitely my favorite because it's the most relatable. Thanks for reacting!😁

Im always amazed when i meet someone who says they don't listen to music. I wonder if they realize what they are missing, or if they may be incapable of experiencing music the same way i do. I have such specific memories of what i was doing when i first heard a particular song. Those memories seem to hold on more than my other memories.
