It wasn’t very affable of Chris to lie like that…😖

@@robertfaulkkner5508 it’s alright. It was only one small lie, plus I guess that Chris did teach us a valuable lesson-not to mention the fact that he was still pretty affable with the old man.

I can't believe that Mr Affable would go to such lengths just to teach the youth u shouldn't lie. Truly so respectable.

It may not have been affable to lie, but it was very affable of him to admit it immediately

Stone Henge stones were mined in Wales. That area of the country could not have produced those stones. They were quarried 250km+ away and moved in a period before 3000BC.

Stonehenge isn't just the henge (it's ironically not actually a henge it's ditch and bank are the wrong way round lol) it's an entire landscape of many Neolithic sites including Avebury stone circle which is amazing and Durrington Walls which is cool if you like Archaeology but nothing much is there now basically a field.

British food is great - if it's done well. Historically british food was seen as world class in the 18/19thC. Particularly in terms of ingredients. It's why so much of the modern revival of food in the UK has been centred around historical rediscovery and just doing stuff properly that had been industrialised and made crap. The restaurant Dinner they talk about going to is a restaurant where the dishes served are all based on historic english dishes. They put the year the recipe was written on it in the menu. A version of the meat fruit pate thing they talked about loving goes back to the 14th century. Unlike japan or france or italy we had our food culture ripped out of us via industrialisation of food and the two world wars and the rationing and collectivisation of food production, and then just people being idiots in the post war period. Broadly most of America did just the same as well it's why American food is just as bad and much of America's food renaissance is rediscovering quality and historic stuff. For example - Britain was world renowned for it's cheese in the 18/19thC. We went from having over 3500 mostly small more artisinal cheese makers making hundreds (or more) types of cheese before ww1 to less than 100 by the end of ww2. And those were mostly large cheese factories making 6 approved cheeses for rationing in big industrial factories with frankly poor quality control. And that sort of thing happened all across british food. So much was lost and is being rediscovered.

"Historically british food was seen as world class in the 18/19thC. Particularly in terms of ingredients." don't even need to read more. British just stole ingredients, along with customs and cuisine methods from all it's colonies. That's it. British suck. Actual dishes originated from Britain fucking sucks. Everyone knows that. Look at the kind of snacks the british boys eat. Connor's mom made fucking bread with bean. Fish and chips is not really considered a national dish. FISH and chips. It's like a kiddie's meal. All the good food in the uk are foreigner restaurants, which there is a lot. Seriously feel bad for you. Learn a little bit of other places foodds, although i'm not sure your palladar would appreciate it

I always get annoyed when people say that British food sucks. Most of the time they've not even tried it before. Shepherd's/cottage pie is great, home-made Cornish pasties are simply amazing, fish and chips with vinegar on it; yum, a good Sunday roast with Yorkshire pudding is so tasty. Not to mention lemon curd (I love that stuff), crumbles, scones and hot cross buns... I'm getting hungry. Also, cheddar and stilton are two of my favourite types of cheese. As a Swiss person, I think that means something 😂

3:49. Honestly, its a glitch. be too honest to the point that people think you’re lying. Comes clutch, they come up with their own excuses and look to you for confirmation just gotta roll with it if it isn’t too crazy
