Funny he said he didn't want to do a sequel but ran with rush hour because they paid him for a lead role. He wasn't getting paid as he preferred as a Co Star. Smokey was really the plot of the movie so he had a right to want more money.

That's the same angle I always thought they could go with. Have Smokey be reformed from actually going through rehab. *They should do a reboot then. Where cube and Mike take pops and unc spot. Then DC Young Fly can play Smokey son, and Cube real son can play him. Smokey can be out of re-hab and successful. His son DC can be a rebel acting like his dad use to before rehab, and cube son can ofcourse be like Craig was. Cube can own a dog store or sum as a Easter egg for the late pops. Cube mom can play a grandma role. The old girlfriends or women of the previous movies could be the mothers. Hell even D-bo could have long lost seed out here raising hell in his pops name.
