It's over now There’s no more purpose for my lungs ‘cos I’m not breathing If I thought that I was still alive, then I think I was dreaming I just left the earth; my soul escaped my body now I’m dead and I’m rising into the heavens to find out what lies ahead This life is over and my time is done on earth There’s no more stressing I’m about to meet the one that gave me all my life and blessings Now is time to hear His voice, and it’s time to feel His embrace And the set time to meet my God and now’s time to see His face I’m at the gate and I don’t wanna wait I wanna see my savior, Amma feel His presence Have His safety embedded in His favor Wait They open up the gates, and sunlight dances through the entrance If I was alive I’d passed out from the beauty of his presence I can sense Him all around me; I can feel Him in every place He’s here I feel it; But that’s not enough I wanna see His face They close the gate as I walk in Now any memories are useless; any outfit of this are worthless Cos no other can produce this So much colour; So much life and wind and sun and love and music So much happiness God loves us and this paradise can prove it ….oh where’s he at though I just wanna see His face, so I’ll be around it I’m walking in the street of gold; but I ain’t got my crown yet Wait I feel something, I turn around And I catch eyes with His; Now I’ve never seen Him before I but I still know who it is. Right now I’m face to face with Jesus looking God right in the eye Immediately I bowed and if I was alive I would have cried Now God was always right beside me but I see him, I can touch Him I’ll exalt him, amma praise Him, magnify Him cos I love Him I’ll say you’re my King; This happiness can not be doubled You’re my Rock, my life, my ever present help in time of trouble And I love you, God I love you, for eternity I’ll show you. But he looks at me in the eye and whispers Do I know you? Do you know me? Yeah… You made me! I was in church every service But he tells me Church without applying what you learnt is worthless But I was a choir member I praised you with poems and acting And he says he checked the book of life and my name was absent and I’m laughin’ like, there must be a mistake. I just won’t hear it And He says I praised Him; but I didn’t have Him in my spirit I can’t bear it; Lord I thought I gave you praise wholeheartedly But then he turns his head away; and then he says depart from me I start to scream, but it was too late Immediately I feel the flame, and I’m ashamed It’s me to blame. I could have stopped all of this pain Life ended like this for me; this aint how I wanted it to conclude. That’s why In real life there won’t be but don’t let this be your future You may be go to church; but “man” you gotta live it Don’t be two-faced; don’t be Hippocrates… Guys don’t be dogs and Ladies don’t be loosed girls We ain’t got no time, so right now drop the games and lift your hands and let him in before it ends Just praise Him while we have the chance
I listened to this years ago and i lost the phone i had this clip on today 26 November 2022 i found myself searching for this and found it i love this poem this is so true and relevant even though this was made more then 10 years ago. Thank You Chris Webb.
I listen to this regularly. Let the spirit convict. The Godly sorrow of true repentance we need to feel can only be soothed by His forgiveness. We are redeemed at such a personal cost.

Oh my goodness! This is so deep! It has hit me so hard. I may be a priest, a preacher, and a pastor but without living it, I'm afraid there is no good eternity for me. So God help me to know you more. Thank you so much Chris

This poem is POWERFUL! It is a real wake up to those who think they are headed in the right direction and their not; it reminds us that there is a difference between church folks and true believers in Christ! Great work! Look forward to seeing more of your work!
Today My Moms Best Fried Passed Away And One Of The Preachers Read This Poem. It Touched Me, Brought Tears To My Eyes. Its Been On My Mind All Day. I Even Showed It To My Fiance. It's Making Me Think About My Life. I Feel As Though I've Done So Much Pain To My Loved Ones No One Will Forgive.. But I'm Ready To Change. I Just Don't Know Where To Start.
Start by asking God for forgiveness, and forgive yourself. It's been hard for me but I hope it's a lot easier for you. I think Some pain doesn't seem to need forgiveness because it's caused by the truth (like when you tell someone a scripture that's to help them out of love). Other than that, apologize alphabetically. 😇 - but seriously, pray, asking God in Jesus's name, and Listen.
You can start by not capitalizing the first letter of each word. Seriously, what is wrong with you? Have you never taken even a BASIC English class in your life?!? Have you never read a book, magazine, or newspaper and seen firsthand how words are properly written? Do you not understand that by capitalizing each word, you actually make it HARDER to read what you write?!?

This poem is perfect, I've sent it to at least 10 other people, it shocked me when God said, do I know you? It made me cry and realize I better stop grieving the Holy Spirit.
This word is real and many don't see it, they think money and names will open the gate, don't let people and church fool you, know him for yourself and live it.
Wow. I did not expect that kind of ending from how he began. He got me good! That sneak attack gave me chills all throughout from the moment God got involved bringing forth that truth! Now that's a true rhetoric.
Oh wow! Brought tears to my eyes because I know there are things in my life I need to get straightened out starting with God. I need to be close to him again and have him in my life again or otherwise...that could be me. :(
The first time I heard this poem I copied it or thought I did. I lost it, I didn't know the title or the name of the poet but then I saw on facebook, a poem from Janetizks of p4cm and I listened and watched them all, their messages are so powerful. This one... I listened to this one...over and over again! it is very powerful message. A real eye opener! Not to put a damper on the message but I must point a few things out. when you die you don't go to heaven, you go back to dust until Jesus returns and call s your name in the first resurrection: we will be changed in a moment in the twinkling of an eye as we ascends into heaven see you're not dead if your in heaven. You will put on immortality. This sin sodden earth would have been behind you or beneath you if you want to get technical. Everlasting life for which Jesus died would now be ours. The saints of God who kept the faith. The commandment keeping saints. Chris Webb, keep up the good work! There won't be any Sun in heaven: the glory of Jesus will illuminate the city.
WOW!!! God help me... this is a description of me.. we hate to admit it but we could all have such destiny BUT for the grace of another day of God's mercy to get it right
If this convicts you then make a REAL change….TO repent means to TURN BACK to God….his forgiveness awaits but it’s got to be real from your side. It’s ok to confess your weakness…to say… “I want to Lord but I just can’t….I don’t have the strength….please take control of this area of my life….come into my heart, empower me through YOUR Holy Spirit.” Don’t delay whoever you are….we have many opportunities but who knows when (or where) our last one may be.
