Please don’t even mention her age. I was pretty immature at 22/23, but I would have _never_ put my child through this. Not even as a teen. She knows better.

In South Africa, drinking while pregnant is illegal and a woman can face criminal charges if their baby is born with fetal alcohol syndrome. They really need to save that baby from this mess

I have been a NICU (Neonatal Intensive Care) RN since 1990. Her baby has CLASSIC Fetal Alcohol Syndrome (FAS). I am so sorry little one...already behind the eight ball and you didnt ask for this.

Im a teacher, and ive had 2 students who were siblings and born only 9 months apart and both had fetal alcohol syndrome, their faces were not formed right and they had lots of learning delays, it was truly sad and heartbreaking

It’s not the environment, it’s the person. My husband was a DJ for years and when I got pregnant I didn’t have any family nearby and I was scared to be home alone so id go with him to the clubs he DJ at and I never drank. If you know you’re pregnant to drink alcohol is just plain selfish and evil.

What kind of friends are they to let her drink while pregnant and not try talking to her?

I have an adult cousin that has that condition and it’s no joke. He is a sweetheart but he has had a hard time socializing and learning to be on his own. He has very poor vision and slobbered a lot as a child which made it hard for him to be around other children. Parents that do that to their children KNOWING that drinking can hurt their babies are diabolical.

My best friend would drink sun up to sun down. She realized she missed her period and took a test and found out she was pregnant. As soon as my friend found out she was pregnant she stopped drinking cold turkey. Some people are meant to be mothers and some are not. My God daughter is smart and beautiful like my bestie.

Regardless of Chrisean Jr’s parents & how absolutely horrid they are, he could not choose who he was born to & he may see these videos & comments later in life. My aunt drank her entiree pregnancy and my cousain is almost 45 and has never been able to live by herself. Its horrible how the mother doesnt think of how it will affect the childs life.

I went out the club about 4 times while I was prego, but I didn't drink or smoke. I was a pothead before I found out that i was prego. The day I found out I was prego, I stopped smoking cold turkey. My son's health and wellbeing was way more important and valuable to me. I thank God every day for my beautiful handsome healthy son :)

The first time I became pregnant and went to a club, the loud music and bass shook my whole body to the point that I had to leave after less than ten minutes. I felt like these vibrations and loud music would disturb my unborn baby. I never went back while I was pregnant. The first trimester is the most crucial time of development as the cells are rapidly dividing. Any external stimuli can negatively affect the baby

Fetal Alcohol Syndrome (FAS) does a whole lot more to a baby than flatten their nose and give them small lips and eyes. I went to school with a girl who became an alcoholic, had a baby, went to jail and her mother got custody thank God. Ffwd 9-10yrs and the baby is now a little girl with normal body function but serious intellectual developmental delays and low IQ. She’s doing school work on a K-1st grade level and still struggling. She has serious emotional issues like severe anxiety, ADHD, sleep dysregulation, etc. She displays a lot of behaviors that lyk she’s not “normal” Ex) if you take her somewhere she hugs everyone she sees and she has tantrums like a 2-3y/o toddler. She is a happy little girl (for the most part I think) but this has all fallen to her grandmother who is almost 70 now and she says the child won’t ever live a normal adult life (won’t live alone, work a normal job, etc) and she will need a guardian when grandma passes away. It’s a very sad, tragic story but it’s a more accurate account of what FAS looks like 🤷🏼‍♀️ This is what happens when you drink alcohol while pregnant and you can’t reverse the damage once it’s been done. I pray that whoever needs to hear this msg finds this comment and heeds it as a warning. Your baby deserves the best of you 👼🏾

The baby has cri du chat syndrome not Fetal Alcohol Syndrome. She wasn’t safe during pregnancy but you can’t cause cri du chat syndrome it’s a genetic chromosomal disorder. It causes that exact cry and hernias too. His face also meets all the criteria. He looks like her and in my opinion she also has cri du chat syndrome. Her eyes are spaced small and angled, tiny nose, flat mid face, thin top lip (prefiller) and I challenge anyone to find a photo of with a philtrum. Everyone calls her slow…

Raised my two little sisters Help raised my two little cousins. Then raised my nephew. I have my own son. I ran a daycare for 3 years and worked in daycare for 4 years. I worked with Kids Autism and Traumatic Brain injury. Unfortunately there is a condition with the baby boy. I can see it by looking at him. God Bless him. i can't lie i had a drug problem in y pregnancy and in the beginning i was using . but i used resources to help myself because my insurance wouldn't cover the help i needed and no detox would take me because i was pregnant . so i called child protective services and within a week they had me in a program . so i guess it just takes a lot of willpower and love to get better ive been clean now for 8 years and i thank God each and every day

Another underrated topic that needs to be addressed: the man’s sperm is also a contributing factor to the baby’s health as well. Whatever the biological father has done in his life consistently: drugs, steroids,drinking, excessive smoking, malnutrition, etc., can all be passed down to the baby.

I believe the baby has both FAS & Cri du chat... Chrisean, does everything that leads up to FAS, RIGHT NOW, alongside her baby. The baby inhales everything through secondhand inhalation on Live, and her environment and clothes must reek of it, whereas the baby inhales his Mother's careless doings smh. The cat-like shrieking cries, sounds like cri du chat and her irresponsible non-maternal behavior is definitely HER fault with FAS characteristics, she passed onto the baby.

As a Labor and Delivery Nurse, 23years experience, we check for fetal alcohol syndrome and we do a drug test on newborns if drug use is suspected or known. Each hospital has different protocols. I do not know her situation obviously, but social services are definitely notified in these cases. Of course some may slip through the cracks if they are not properly notified.

I’m just praying for the baby and Chrisean as well… Lord God guide her 💕🙏🏾

I have a child that's on the autism spectrum from me taking Tylenol while pregnant. She is in college,she drives, she's very sociable and sweet. I did all I could to bring a healthy child into the world but the Dr suggested I take Tylenol for headaches. C-Rocks baby is clearly a child with Alcohol fetal syndrome. He's beautiful and will have a great life. He may be delayed but God has his back.
