I actually quit listening to country music Years ago. It’s not the good stuff I grew up on. You missy are one of the few that could bring REAL country music back. Please think about. This song makes me think of the relationship I'm in , it really puts things in perspective. I've been in a relationship almost 6 yrs an I'm over weight but I was about 25 lbs lighter when I 1st started seeing him, but he has never introduced me to any of his friends ( none of them ) he does the antique shops he will take me to the 1 out of our city that he has booths at but he won't bring me to any of the ones locally . I moved in with him 5 months ago, he still hasn't introduced me to any of his neighbors. My friend told me he's never going to change an I'm wasting my life on him , trust me I've brought all of this to his attention , how he makes me feel he said I'm reading more into it. Chrissy did an awesome job with this song .

Chrissy you will probably never even see this but... I love this song. While it doesnt have anything to do with break ups for me, as someone with a physical disability, who navigates the world using a wheelchair I am always subject to people helping me as "their good deed for the day" when everything about their energy says they'd rather be anywhere doing anything else and I'm disrupting their life. Plus, the countless people that don't speak it but very clearly say that the only acceptable version of a person is an abled one. Cure culture is a real thing and it's hugely damaging to those with disabilities that don't have a cure which mine doesn't. I shouldn't need to be cured or abled to belong and be accepted! "I hope you dance" was the father daughter dance at my graduation where where my father physically held me up hanging from him painfully standing for the dance. Actress perfectly describes all the feelings I had that night and how I always have to cover up how things really feel.
