See you cannot hold any pastor responsible for your spiritual growth, I have looked at all Churches and denominations alike and concluded that you depth with God is an initiative that one has to take for themselves. Nomatter which church you go to take your Bible and read it for yourself.
Well donec ma, I am attending Christ Embassy here in Italy , my experience here in my church it's not the way I am hearing it from you now, if anything come up to contributes it is not by Force in my church thank you
It is not in every branch - and they are careful in some countries because of the laws there. Truth is there are some branches of Christ embassy that are completely different. But the pressure is very much on the pastors. So they may buffet the members by giving out of their own pockets and not bother the members- especially when they are trying to grow the church. Some pastors give to cover the members out of their personal finances and don’t want to pressurize the members because they are still under a strong mandate to remit the funds to the headquarters. Many CE churches started very well. As they grew bigger, they turned into something else.
I also was never forced to give, although we are asked to “offer” at the end of every meeting, which at the moment is 3 times a week (2 services and one cell meeting). However I must also say that the pastor gave us 6 free lessons introducing us to the Christian life which was pretty well structured and interesting, and it was free. I wouldn’t have minded paying something for it to be honest. I believe the members of my cell here in a small uk town (rather not mention which one).... are all pretty straight forward people. It is the obsessive attachment to Pastor Chris which worries me, this is like saying “the people from my Scientology branch are nice” (yes I was sucked into Scientology as a youth) but the source is still LR HUBBARD! if these people hang on every word of pastor Chris, how long will it be before the rotten comes out? There is also great pressure and guilt tripping into attending service. I also didn’t like that when I was delivered I was expected to speak in tongues, everyone was looking at me so I just allowed sounds to come out of my mouth. I now know this is very likely not the gift. If you don’t speak tongues at prayer, they treat you like you are lacking something and expect it from you, if you don’t manage they basically “make sure” you manage. This is so unbiblical and also quite dangerous for someone’s spirituality. Overall, I don’t think I will be staying in spite of the fact there are 2 sisters in the church that I really love. But this constant : join prayer, read rhapsody, watch the stream....nah, something fishy.
I was a member of Christ Embassy, but I didn’t fall for all the stupid scams. I rejected every leadership position they offered me because I love my freedom & I was seen as a rebel. 😅 I never paid tithe or first fruit because I understand the word of God & could see through Oyaks (my friends & I call him Oyaks 😅). These ladies are 1000% correct!!! They even left out too many other things. May God open the eyes of gullible Nigerians 🙏🏾🙏🏾🙏🏾

I use to go to one of their branches in London ,I will be praying holy ghost fire they will hate me when we are having prayers together, they honour Chris more than Jesus ,they collect Jan full salary from church members as first fruit after people are in debt over the Christmas time.I left there never again .Same thing with redeem church never my portion .I pray at home now have my own personal relationship with God .
The last thing I will ever do in this life until it ends is to give my money to anything called church. I stopped going to church for over 20 years now and I'm fine with it. All the person is complaining is about giving, for what I know giving is not compulsory in CE except you are eyeing leadership positions. Giving is a character of God, John 3:16 says "for God so loved the world and He GAVE............ " If giving is an issue for a person keep your money in the house and know God for yourself. Christ Embassy have SCHOOLS for indigent children in some parts of Nigeria, Adamawa State have such, internationally rated boarding school, fully tuition free, (unlike other churches), which money is used to fund such projects. There are several other projects like hospital, Satellite Television almost all parts of the world so as to preach the gospel ( is it the golden coin from heaven or angelic beings that will do all those). I'm so sad, ashamed and disgusted that a church can do that. The Bible says in 1 Timothy 6:10 "For the love of money is a root of all kinds of evil. Some people, eager for money, have wandered from the faith and pierced themselves with many griefs." Money doesn't take anybody to heaven, only accepting Jesus as your Lord and personal saviour. There is a very high level of manipulation and control in many of the branches of Christ embassy. Even when you just want to give to God - they are the same ones that preach to you to be expectant. They preach you should expect a harvest. Brethren will come out and testify about miracle money etc. so they tune you to hunger for money to give. They pressurize giving. Offer7 is well known within the ministry. Anyone who does not know about offer 7 was not really a committed member. You won’t hear about offer7 on tv or on the church RU-vid videos.

Last year, it was Moses Bliss that won that award and Pastor does this every year. Not only that, you have not talked about the Future African Leaders award where Pastor Chris gives twenty five thousand dollars to young teenagers who have done extraordinarily well in their various fields. He does this every 31st December. You have not spoken of the numerous awards he gives young people in Christ embassy with thousands of dollars Sinach came to Christ embassy as a student. Today look at where she is now Eben, Ada, Joe Praise, Frank Edwards, they all came to Christ embassy when they w were nothing. Ask the number of pastors that he has helped financially with good dollars worldwide to build their churches. Even white pastors I think he is an ICON in Africa and we must appreciate what we have.

Most church members probably have their names tied in a padlock in babalawo yard. The first is when you attend a church for the first time, they will give you a form to fill out your name and other details like address, phone number etc some forms even have employment status or best time for contacting you so. That alone is the start of investigation into your life.
