Cette œuvre n'est pas à son meilleur rendu interprétée par une voix de mezzo-soprano, si magnifique soit-elle.

I really love this recording. Ludwig did many, but I think this is my favorite. Some would say it is too slow, but no musical energy is lacking. This is more important.

Tief berührend ; Brahms war 36. Ludwig ,Böhm ,die Wiener und das Chorus brachten eine Ausführung( im Jahre1977) ,die man sich nicht besser vorstellen könne und die öfters propagiert werden sollte zusammen vergleichbaren unvergesslichen Kompositionen.
