@bubblewrapped yea theyre both good but i think it's hard to compare since theyve played a different amount of games, but i think press has a better g/90m
Is the women's game in England really more physical & athletic than in the US? In the world cup I thought the thing that separated the US from the chasing pack - England, Holland, France etc was how much more powerful & quick the US women were, with better fitness levels in the last quarter of the game.
I think that was an incorrect phrase, but from other comments on the leagues that I've seen, I think they also mean it differently. No doubt that NWSL is more athletic aerobically. They believe their league is more physical in the brute strength way. I don't think they realize how much fouling is ignored in NWSL 😂
Even in the men's game the us is known for being very athletic and direct the knock was always technical ability. For the women there just as skilled as other countries. But also bigger faster stronger and better conditionied. It is true the preimer league is the most athletic league in the world but there is no way wsl is above nwsl. I do not think the europeans like us being better at the game then them.
@@michaelyeomans8992 I think you're probably right! However with regards to who is better overall i'd say it's important to take population into consideration...would the US beat a team selected from western Europe rather than its individual countries? Not so sure. Eg US (population 230 million) vs England (popn 56M), Spain (popn 47M), Holland (18M) or Sweden (10M), perhaps doesn't give the complete picture.
@@davidellis5141 I mean hes not wrong I haven't heard if a single womens player in my life only aware of alex Morgan, and Sinclair that is it "WOmens SOcceR RoCKs THe Uk" yeah right you need some help sir wimens soccer is irrelevant
@@kycone So maybe. I am not understanding you. She is taking diggs on purpose? If so hey lady maybe you should wait till someone from your country actually wins something first.
@TheUnscripted 101 Tennis players should win Grand Slams, basketball players win the NBA title, hence their Soccer counterparts should win the Champions League.
Technically, it is more of a season loan than a long term contract, after this season they are done, women in Europe are usually offered 3 years contract, but theirs is just one season, after that, they are back to NSWL.
bubblewrapped you probably don’t know, well I am telling all Americans playing in the FAWSL are stop gaps, technically business wise apart from selling jersey, it’s a no for the clubs. Alex and em lots would return back to the US after the 2020/2021 season. Go and read the reports from their clubs in the US, clubs like Manchester United and Spurs that plan to build the team around em, would crash come January 2021, I just saw their roaster for the Olympics, they would be leaving for the whole month, these Americans 90% of their contracts is paid by the USWNT, so they will all leave, no doubt. And subsequent months they leave for camp training for more than 2 weeks. Personally imo, they are there to keep fit, so they can be selected to play for USWNT. USA have a football different calendar (especially the women) compared to Europe, in January when they leave for camp training, games would be going on in the WSL, you can go check their calendar and that of the WSL and see how many games they won’t be available to play based on their camp training for the Olympics
bubblewrapped When we sign a player for JUST a SEASON( this isn’t Long term we call this a LOAN) so technically they are loans, WSL clubs offer minimum of 2 years and maximum of 3 years contract, and not a season... Rachel Daly has the shortest loan deal, Her loan deal expires in December. Tobin, Press, Mewis, Rose, Alex are contracted for just a Season. The start of the 2021/2022 they won’t be in England 🏴 playing any football.
bubblewrapped they would leave, just like the men, they would remain in a bubble, Which allows players travel for international duties and back, so yes they would leave.
@bubblewrapped they will leave for camp next year, not next week. From January 9-29. When they do leave for Olympic training I would be here to have a laugh, and say I told you.
It’s never gonna happen, European clubs would continue to play in competition like the UEFA champions league or Europa, NWSL isn’t gonna play in those competitions ever, MLS tried it and UEFA kicked the idea out. The NWSL can stick to ever the play over there, and we will be fine with ours..
nwsl teams are literally undefeated against european cometition hence why the national team is so dominant, because the league is more competitive...usa womens are just a tier above
@@jordiantonio6551 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣 joke of the century. All drafts from college playing against themselves. Well The NWSL and MLS would NEVER join European competition.
@@etarukenyong350 mls would not because they could not compete because good men athletes in the usa do not play football it is seen as girly. The best female athletes play football so thats why usa womens are just better
but when north carolona (nwsl champ) played man city they not only won but placed 45 shots on their goal with all man citys starters and also beat lyon its facts
@@jordiantonio6551 I am not arguing with the USWNT being the best(as a nation playing at the World Cup, that’s all)I am saying both NWSL and MLS would Never be Allowed to join Any European competition like Europa league, champions league etc. Financially both NWSL ans MLS can’t meet up, can’t even be compared to European clubs. So yeah you guys can keep playing against yourself from draft to draft.
More USWNT players have to go abroad. NWSL is less better than European leagues. Let them grow both tactically and mentally. Don't mind about their CBA. The CBA is only exist to hold them back. Take examples like Julie Ertz and Mallory Pugh.
@@mrXOwarrior You're absolutely clueless if you think NWSL is far more superior than European leagues. In Europe, you compete to become champion, avoid relegation, and reach the regional stage.
@@giodhuha6771 then why are nwsl teams undefeated against the likes of lyon, psg, and man city?? explain me that one...not only undefeated but absolutely dominated the games
Can't believe the disrespect for the best striker on the USWNT Christen Press. Meanwhile Spurs fans are acting like Alex Morgan is their savior when the girl just gave birth and hasn't played for a year.
The last WWC was the most globally viewed soccer match in history. I run a fan page for the USWNT alone and it's got over 1800 followers from countries around the world and I'm definitely not the biggest of them
