Dam fools out here really sleeping on him and his music omg ugh this is definitely still being played on my playlist- Period in 2024 Dam Right 😍😍😍🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥💯💯💯
Bruh I jus told my son who is 15 to play troubled man and this song same time and they sound the same pretty dope I swear same start up but different ages
Ghetto Cyrano The album was so underrated and only got like 3 to 4 stars in certain album critics it's ridiculous another album that was underrated was D.R.S. and TQ. All 3 albums are awesome R&B.
I miss them so much! Heartbroken when the original crew broke up. We need Christian back in 2024! I will be the first to buy the CD/concert ticket! Damn!!
@@1stunna91I remember I bought the cd single when it was first released. I must have played it 1000 times in my cadillac 😂... it was ahead of its time for sure
I was just saying this. Roc A Fella didn't know what to do with these talented brothers. They were on the Streets Is Watching sdtrk too and they left the label. Had they been on Laface or Motown. Best believe they'd been promoted much better.
@@coryvice7975 honestly I believe Jay hated that they were taking all the shine away from him. I read he used up all their promotional $$$ for him instead.
This is the paradox of infinite Infinity and life's algorithm of perplexed serenity and the tranquil affect of tranquility in a kinetic, energetic, magnetic, poetic, theoretic subconscious thought through wisdom and ability to see from the mines third eye
@@forgottengrooves6073 this will forever be a hit i dont agree on that one.... They should do a unsung because these brothers are talented and smooth...will never be another sound like this i hope they do
day one they should hav won a few Grammys real talk .the whole album was life changing for me and I was going thru some heavy things and I was living a way that I knew was wrong ..watching my life go down .now 2023 15 years later im up mang im up and it feels so much better on the other side ..happy and at peace and the lessons learned ..ITS ALL COSMIC !
They're such good crooners. I love that style of soul singing. The music video is like butter; the looks, the cameos! Im a child of the 90s and I appreciate the details in this visual.
Where my girls at? Y'all know damn well those Christion boys are fine as hell!! Give those brothas they props as well as musically talented & can dress!!
The '90s were a God-send, musically... Not even kidding. It's like they merged so many different eras from years past in this video, the style, the Marvin Gaye-type of feel.... I mean, PURE artistry.
As MANY times as I've seen this video, I just realized that Kenny Ski is on EVERY instrument! This group is Jay-Z's biggest blemish to his legacy. How he and Dash couldn't figure out a way to market these guys when the music would have sold itself, is beyond me.
@@darhyllacy3671 They were interested in preserving the black talent like this..there's more $$ in destroying black nsturalness..its called "hip hop" many reported that they were and when rhe memo went out.. & strange things happened to those who disagreed...check it out ...
I'm the man today Can't nobody tell me nothing Got a hold on life Taking each day by day Being strong Know just where I'm going to As I get higher and higher Dreams grow Visions flow by This is as good as it gets As I take another hit sugar I can't stopI won't stop Cause I'm too cool And what they say is true Ooh, I'm full of smoke Watching my life go down Down Watching my life go down Watching my life go down Watching my life go down Another day Time just passes by me slowly But I'm all right You'll see Faces in places catchin' different cases Surroundings is glorified Same situation nothing ever changes Just being a bonafide hustler Hustler baby From day to night Business is as good as it gets As I take another hit SugarI won't stop I can't stop
I could listen to this record all day everyday it's doesn't get get any smoother a glass of heneecy on the rocks groveling to the nice vibes girl bye your side what a night
I just started listening to this song like beginning of last year then downloaded the album & i'd give it a strong 9 outta 10 maybe w/the exception of 1 or 2 songs it's definitely a panty-dropper🎉😈😈😈
This was one of my sons favorite songs. We would listen to it over & over again. Or watch the video. My one and only son, passed away on July 8, 2023. I still can’t believe he’s gone. Mommy loves and misses you every day!! Forever 31, and forever my SON-shine. He’s next to his sister, my second oldest daughter (Cora). She’ll be forever 35. Sigh… life is so very unfair. 😢
Roc A Fella dropped the ball on this group. I think they would have fared better on the West Coast on a label like Death Row because this sounds like some pimp shit you would hear down here. Even listening to this on a Saturday morning and how smooth it years later, shows me they had a gem and they focused more on rap than this. This shit still smooth after all these years 💯💯💯
I think it carried on into the early 2000s with Jill Scott, Musiq Soulchild, Floetry, Goapele, etc. IMO there are still some dope artists out now but they are mostly underground (KING, Moonchild, Phony Ppl, Hiatus Kaiyote).
Blame this on the law "Telecommunication Act Of 1996" signed by then President Bill Clinton, that law indirectly hurt the music industry as we know it back then to what it (music) has become now
I was listening to Trouble Man by Marvin Gaye and there’s a part of this song where Christion uses Marvin’s cadence… I couldn’t remember where I heard it from but finally it came to me… Full of Smoke 💨
I used to sing this song with so much heart when I was 13 😂😂😂 my mom would get mad, like why are you singing this song like you really feeling it. I was moms, I really was..... I'm 33 now and I still sing this song.
I miss my Allen Anthony Bootleg Oakland International CD 😢, It was cool seeing this on BET in the late 90s but only the real ones know Allen was all Oakland.
Ive listened to this song almost every day since I was 16, I'm 38 r n new apt..Breaking her in with one of my favorite songs...2024 still going that's so awesome
My theme song when I was 17. I had just got my first car and this is the first thing I bumped. Windows down, summer breeze blowing, pretty young thing in the passenger seat. I was too cool, indeed. Couldn't tell me nothin. I miss 1997.
