Fragrance so subjective! I LOVE Absolutely Blooming . It last all day. They are discontinuing this fragrance. Glad I have a backup. I might need to get a second one. Thanks for the video

I didn’t dislike the scent. I just think it had much to do with Miss Dior as a fragrance. Sadly Dior is letting the new perfumer get rid of anything he wants.

Totally agree with your opinions, I have to say. My absolute favorite is the classic 2012 version, and I got backups when I realized they changed it in 2017. Just recently came across a 2016 Absolutely Blooming, and it keeps on reminding me of something like LVEB, which I don't own, so I checked in Fragrantica, but I couldn't find that reference anywhere to my surprise.

I miss the older Miss Diors. You like the 2012 Miss Dior Eau De Parfum? That’s my favorite one too. I had a bottle and it went missing, so now I only smell the one my mom has 😂. Absolutely Blooming reminds me of La Vie Est Belle. They had one that had a sweeter berry note to it and they could have been the same scent. It’s to bad that Dior is killing all of their classics. I get brands will change and update things to follow trends, but their new direction in fragrance is very generic.

i loveee miss dior edt!! love that you do too. i even have a backup in case theres another reformulation, being that mfk is now the main perfumer for dior

i also dont have rose and roses or absolutely blooming, i do have the 2017 edp , new edp and blooming bouquet.

It’s such a good fragrance. It’s the perfect everyday fragrance! I need to get a backup bottle for my mom. I hope they don’t change it but Dior does that frequently.

Anytime! Thanks you for watching. Le Parfum is a more deep and spicy. The EAU de Parfum focused more on the patchouli and the floral notes. Overall, I’d say they are both great fragrances. I wish I could say the same about the current formulations.

Very informative and interesting, thank you! I just unknowingly bought a bottle of the 2021 reformulation and I am distraught! (Maybe a little hyperbolic, lol.) It is in no way way like the Miss Dior I had originally. To me it is insipid and generic smelling. Therefore, the problem I'm having is that I have no idea if what I had previously was the Miss Dior EDP of 2012 or 2017, so in your informed opinion, if the Miss Dior I previously wore was both spicy and sweet, which formulation do you think I should pursue on the secondary market? Or do you think I would be happy with Le Parfum? I would really appreciate it if you might weigh in, considering your considerable knowledge of the brand.

Thank you for the kind words! The 2012 formulation is more spicy and you get more of a patchouli background it has a small hint of sweetness but nothing like the 2017. For 2017 they added the rose and made the rose a focus. So if it’s leaning more sweet than spicy, you have the 2017 formulation. Le Parfum is amazing! Note that it can come off old school, or strong to some. If you like fragrances like Coco (EDP) or Tresor by Lancôme then you’ll like le Parfum. It’s more spicey and earthy, very refined and elegant, but if you don’t like these scents it can come off dated. Hopefully that helps you, let me know what you end up getting, I hope you find your perfect match!

i cant agree more, the Miss Dior today is no longer the Miss Dior introduced in 2005, it lost it's best outstanding Character that so unique and became a whatever Miss on the street you always see, no surprise.

I couldn’t agree more. Everyone is walking around smelling like a candy flower drenched in powder 😂. Definitely not luxurious anymore

So can you tell me which one i have? Its the size of a quarter with a tiny white top. On the tiny bottle it has Christian Dior Paris on it. It smell really really vintage. I got it off Ebay. I asked the seller and she said that she didnt know because it belonged to an older relative. Great video! I am a Dior girl😂. I dont care for Chanel 🤫

It should be the original Miss Dior. I think you can still purchase it on Diors website. I’m a Dior lover too, I can be a little harsh with Chanel.
