I'm struggling the same way and I'm very scared

Tom Davis im thirteen and I for sure know how that feels like. 2018 was the year the Lord really changed my life and I was only twelve. But age doesn’t matter what matters is faith. Faith is key and I always thought why doesn’t he answer me? The thing I was doing wrong was that I wasn’t listening to him. He talked to me but I just was too caught up with not being able to hear him that I totally missed it. The verse that I hung on my wall was “ be still and know that I am God” psalm 46:10 this verse was the verse which God spoke to me. One day I was giving up in finding his voice so I lyed down. Suddenly the verse came to mind and I knew He was speaking to me. He told me to be still and He would reveal the rest. When I took a break from my chaotic life, bible verses were coming to mind. Which was Him speaking. So my fellow friend don’t give up now! I know this comment was from a year ago but if u read this DONT GIVE UP! He has something beautiful in store for u. And as people say beauty hurts. And it sure does physically and also SPIRITUALLY! God love you! SHALOM

Keshebileone Gaboinewe I’ve been and currently also still battling with this too. But what keeps me going is that I must remain faithful because one day and even today it will all pay off. Another thing that keeps me going is Psalm 27 verse 4-5 which says “One thing I ask of the LORD, this is what I seek: that I may dwell in the house of the LORD all the days of my life, to gaze upon the beauty of the LORD and to seek him in his temple. 5 For in the day of trouble he will keep me safe in his dwelling; he will hide me in the shelter of his tabernacle and set me high upon a rock.” It’s rather better to be lost in life with Him than without Him because as long as you remain with Him he will help us - proverbs3:5-6 says Trust in the LORD with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding. [6] In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths. I hope this helps. Stay strong and don’t give up 😭❤️❤️❤️

Jesus and God are in fact the same person, just in different forms! God is the father and he is more or less a spiritual being whereas Jesus is God but in the human form! The Bible says that Jesus was fully man and fully God! Think of it like water, water can be a solid, liquid or gas but it’s all H2O. God the father is like the solid version of water and Jesus is like the liquid while the Holy Spirit is like the gas! They’re all God but God in different forms! It’s really confusing but yeah they’re the same person :))

I'm not Justin, but dude, keep following your call to ministry. Though your ministry may not begin in a church building or through years of formal education, it can begin with everyone around you, and God will lead. Be faithful in the little things, and he will put you over many things. (matthew 25:21) The name may be a little cheesy, but hey, so was google, and nike when they actually started, and now no one thinks of those brands as cheesy. The name is just a vessel for the message. In the same way we might be cheesy people, but God still uses us as vessels for his glory. Keep up the good work! Get vlogging!

I went through the same but I chose faith because I studied the messiah profecies and I gathered enogh faith to pray God and ask for the holy spirit visitation and that happened so I know it's real, try and keep on trying

It’s been a year since you wrote this and no one responded so I don’t know how you feel now, but I’ll tell you what does it for me. Sometimes we can get lost in the history and theology, the supernatural things of God, and the divinity of Jesus. And while I do believe strongly that the Bible is the true word of God and that Jesus died for our sins as both God & man...it’s easy to get lost in things that we can’t see. Although we understand that seeing isn’t always the proof of faith (as what happened when Eve SAW that the tree was good for food), it’s also not to be cast away. A few days ago I was driving home from work and I noticed how a part of the sky was very yellow-bright and beautiful. And it really hit me...how do people believe that this world created itself?? When you see the beauty in the creation, it just makes sense that there is an intelligent creator behind it. How can that kind of overwhelming beauty create itself? The Mona Lisa painting didn’t just appear...it was created by an artist. I’m a cellular & molecular biology major, so I’ve been blessed to be able to study all forms of life. From plants to animals to humans. Even the way plants take in water and use the sun for nutrition is intelligently and wonderfully designed. I won’t bore you with the details but if you want to look it up, I say go for it!! In Paul’s letter to a Roman church he says, “For since the creation of the world His invisible attributes, His eternal power and divine nature have been clearly seen, being understood through what has been made, so that they are without excuse (Romans 1:20 NASB version).” Basically we can see the evidence of God in everything around us. Maybe it’s easy for me to spot now because of what I’ve learned through my biology classes, but it seems hard to see the complexity and intelligence of creation and not believe that only an intelligent being outside of these things can create it.

@@taygray6424, as a cellular and molecular biology major, I assume you would have a very good grasp of evolutionary theory, therefore you should know exactly how complex systems can create themselves. Secondly, there are evolutionary reasons why animals would evolve a sense of beauty. Thirdly, beauty is very much in the eye of the beholder. There would be people in this world who would see great beauty in things that would disgust both you and me. For instance, a psychopath might look at the complexity and intricacy of the Holocaust, and see great beauty in it! In fact, if this person where religious, they might even see the Holocaust as proof of God asking "how could such misery be done on such a scale by mere mortals? Surely this must be the work of God!". So, no, I do not think that when you see something you find beautiful that it proves the existence of God.
