I heard Gods voice loud and clear. My mother was talking to me about the story of Sarah and Abraham, and we were outside and my neighbors were outside as well. I remember getting a little edgy about my mother talking about God with our neighbors so close (I still don't understand why) and I heard a loud voice, sure as day, "Do Not Be Embarrassed Of My Name." I will never forget that voice. The strict tone, the sure male voice in my female mind, it was clear. To this today, im extremely embarrassed of myself for being embarrassed of my creator. I had to share this story, to tell you all know: He is listening. To everything. He is always with us. Thanks be to God. Amen.
I had hit rock bottom, I was looking at going to prison. On August 26, 2008 at 8:40 AM I audibly heard God tell me, "Todd I love you." My life was changed at that moment. I went on to devour the bible, underlining, highlighting and journaling what each verse meant to me. Later, to the end of my sentence, God led me to write encouraging papers for others to read, taken from the bible. Upon release, God opened the door for me to transpose those papers onto a blog. Please pray for me. God has been silent the past few weeks and I've been wanting to get out of the ordeal I am going through. It's a struggle to surrender everyday, and I've been really confused. But I've been praying and pleading, because I know He wants me to be willing. Please pray for strength and endurance until there's a light of breakthrough. And please pray for clarity about His will in my life with regards to my recent breakup. Thank you.

I own a labor intensive business and have been in this career for over 20 years but my heart (and body) seem to be leading me on a different path, possibly social work/counseling. I finely got to the point in my Christine life that I realized that it is time to just give it ALL to God and allow Him to take charge of everything , and to resist the Devil . for the first time I feel completely at peace and free , everything that was difficult before seams so clear to me and I was stepping out of the darkness where I was searching and calling God but never was willing to let go and place him in charge of everything in my life . so 2 days later I have a setback when our car broke down just after we spend all the money we have to fix it the engine popped . Knowing that this is the work of the devil trying to get me back where I was , I went to prayer and ask God what to do now , because we need transport and we don’t have that sort of money to replace the engine . so this is what happened . I heard so sort of indescribable voice in me , sort of a whisper connected to my feelings says to me “ Why worry about that old car when I am giving you a new car ? “ and the image of a red VW Kombi on the competition I have entered a view days earlier cam up in my mind , I just burst to tears , thanking and praising God , and as my prayer go on I ask God what should I give my father in-law for the work he have done for us , and the same whisper voice in me said “ Give him 10 % of the money you have sold this item for “ ……….. ever since that day I have not worry about our broken car , but something in me know it was time to let go of this old car because God made a promised to us and assured us that a new one is on iets way . I know that it was time to let go of our old car and it was hard for me to let go , so I ask God if it is His will for us to let go of our old favorite car then He must make it clear to me . So the next day a man came to our house and said he saw our car at the mechanic and would like to buy the car if we want to sell it, and then I knew that this is what we must do. We sold the car for the price we wanted and I cry about the car as if I lost a friend but the same time I praised God for the new car he promised and I hang on to it , everyone thinks that I am crazy and I should have bought a other car , but I know that I know this is how God spoken to me , and I will keep faith in it .The completion has not closed yet so when the red Volkswagen is in my Yard I will update you.
Here is my testimony about hearing God's voice... it's a little long winded. My apologies. I have always been able to hear God's voice... not so much audibly, with my ears, but in the spirit. God sometimes speaks to me in dreams or visions, but primarily it's a clear "audible" voice that resonates from my core and engulfs me like a cloud. God doesn't speak to me in the prophetic sense, but more as a father to a child. A little background: My mother and brothers were always sickly and my very loving father spent any time where he wasn't working caring for them. As the one "healthy" child I was often left to myself. My father did a lot of praying for God to fill the gaps. Well, for me, God was always there. In my earliest memory (18 mo.) I was cognizant of God's presence. They say that God is to each Christian whatever they need Him most to be. A husband to the widow. A friend to the friendless. ect. God was and is for me a father to the fatherless. God raised me and parented me where my earthly parents could not. In my childlike innocence I could see the angelic body guards that were ever present, but off to the side, silent and on guard. God would teach me, guide me, comfort me and protect me like a father would. God would also discipline me like a father would. Nothing like trying to avoid discipline when the disciplinarian is the Master of the cosmos. As I reached adulthood, doubt crept in. I noticed that nobody else could hear God's voice in the way that I can. My father came close, but he hears God's voice in small phrases here and there. I have yet to meet anyone else that actually carries on a two way conversation with God, as though He is standing right beside me. I felt like the weird one. Questions frequently came to mind like "Am I crazy?" "Am I hearing voices?" "Why me?" "What makes ME so special that the Master of the cosmos would be my Daddy?" "Is this just my imagination?" "Will other people take me for a nutter if they find out?" The questions came and spiraled out of control. For years I would struggle with doubt. "Is this really God?" "Is this just my imagination?" "What if the voice is not God?" My doubts became so vivid that I tried to shut out God's voice all together. I knew that God was out there, but I didn't want to risk listening to the WRONG voice. If i calmed my mind enough, I could hear what God was saying, but fear usually caused me to drown Him out. Throughout this time of doubt, if God wanted to get my attention, He could get through the fog of doubt. Despite my best efforts to hide I still heard and knew my Father's voice. Now, in my 30's, I am starting to clear away the doubt. I can hear God's voice again... just like always. Even though I am an adult, I am still God's child that needs comfort, protection, guidance and discipline. I have no special calling that I know of. I have never spoken prophetically that I remember. I am not anything special, but I know plain as day that my Daddy is the Master of the cosmos. Why me? Well, I don't know... but God cares for the sparrows.

I read the Bible. I didn't go to church. Like Jesus said, "It is expedient for me to go, for if I go the counselor the Holy SPIRIT will come and bring to your rememberence, the WORDS which I have spoken." You hear his voice when you ask him for the Holy Spirit. You are given the Holy Spirit. The sword of the word. LOVE ONE ANOTHER.

I think this is the second time in the last two or three weeks where we have posted something on a similar topic. Yes! My channel is steadily growing! I am pretty excited about that. Not bad for a stay at home mom who only gets 3 hours to her self a week, right? Why not give those 3 hours to the Lord and watch him work with it. :) We just have to be willing, right?
There was one day when I was totally alone in my study room. As usual, I was using my computer, doing my work. And then, I heard a voice sing to me. It was a loud and clear voice. It sang beside my left ear. It sang "Amazing Grace, How Sweet The Sound" I was shocked. I turned around and no one was there. Hahaha.

Really edifying video bro! You see, God wants us to spend time with him in prayer, Bible study, and even fasting at times in order to diligently seek him. I believe that the Holy Spirit can speak in multiple ways. One of those ways is through the Bible. He also speaks to your heart, your spirit, your conscience. He can also speak through circumstances. But we gotta be careful to make sure we're truly hearing God, and not ourselves or even satan. Thanks for this video. just wondering but he said that God isn't always talking to us trough dreams and people etc. but also trough His word. That we have to read the bible as well but now my question is How do we know what to read how can we find those answers in his word when we don't where t look for ? can please someone help me out ?
First of all you should start reading Bible regularly, one chapter per day. Firstly pray to God and select one book and start reading continuously. Don't skip. And through that God will talk to you and sometimes you can feel that there is no such thing to learn from that passage, so u need wisdom. As good said in book of James, if anybody lacks in wisdom ask me I will give you, it only comes from me. So all you need to do is select one book and read it regularly. i was maybe like 12 13 yrs old n out of the blue never n my life have i picked up a bible b4 dat day i did n just opened it up n read a verse n didnt undastan it but read it n dan heard a voice i quickly put it down n freaked looked around n noone dar i dont remember what verse it was but i heard it if only somone wouldve showed me dan bout da bible n god n jesus i no things wuldv ben alot different now but what does it mean n i just remember how soft n gentle his voice is n thx for ur shows im learning ol Dee er but never to old for knowledge thx n god bless u n family i want to learn plz help me
So like i've been asking about how God speaks, and i asked whether this person thinks that God can speak verbally to people and this person gave me quite an interesting answer basically saying that he hasn't heard of many people being spoken to audibly and he believes the reason is because Gods voice and word is so tremendously powerful that it could actually harm us. He then explained to me that when God created the universe he used just his words. He also told me about how somewhere in the Bible it says that if you just look at the face of God you can't live. Im sure that God does speak to some people audibly though but i think it would be to people who really walk with him. One thing i am 100 percent certain of is that he does speak to us for example he actually used cars to speak to me through their hooters at 3 in the morning while the roads were dead quiet. XD
this sounds really weird and I'm not quite sure what happened but, when I was really young, I'm not sure what age I was, I had a dog named brownie, he was old and dying. that night while I was awake I went to my room (he stayed in my room all the time) to check on him. He had died. I ran to my mom and told her, and we cried for a while. I went back to the living room and on this shelf above a couch was this rolled up scroll note thing, it had a small gold dog charm on it. I can't remember what it said but I know it was something comforting. I think it may have been from god? I can't think of any other explanation. my dad was asleep and I was with my mom the whole time. it was weird. It's the only conclusion I have come to.
I was in my bed and I was simply watching videos I felt like my mind was empty like I was thinking absolutely nothing then I heard a voice call my name in a whisper in my ear to which made me surprised not really scared but surprised.

I wanna ask about people from 2 thousand years ago until today who profess that God shows Himself clearly and vividly through visions and dreams or something else and tell us new added things to believe but i cant get myself believe that is God's works, I believe God doesn't want to confuse His followers and wouldn't do such extent of communication since that can be identical to what would the enemy do.. and stir up doubt.(One example is the appearance of "Mary" to a pope and giving him a rosary to pray into)

jwila blair Oh I see, then I would say it is better to end that type of relationship sooner rather than later if that's what you feel convicted on. It's easier to end something if it's early on. It's much harder later as you get more connected. That's my opinion, but again. Prayer is the key

Too ambiguous, equivocal, and, I would say, not biblical. A good biblical study that may change your life like mine would be "Decision Making and the Will of God" by Gary Friesen. Knowing God's will is not like looking for easter eggs or "trying" to hear his voice. The bible just doesn't teach that.
