Pastor Mark, how should I start the talk?

Alma Jean Jimenez that is my position I like her but I didn’t expect to DTR during a bible study Icebreaker question. I was fine being just friends. From her actions it seemed she wanted more.

Teevee it all depends on the guy and the relationship. My advice is to always start smaller and work your way up in relationship talks. You can always get more serious but it's hard to take words back when you say too much.

Teevee hey I wish ladies would be more direct with the subject. Personally that open communication is so important to hear how a woman is feeling and for a guy to just be willing to listen and understand. As a Christian man I have tried to have this conversation because of being in a long distance relationship but with no real definitive answer as to where your at in the relationship honesty so it can be really frustrating. Because of course you want to know if you can plan more into the future and be confident that they’re as committed as you are. Honestly I think it depends on the guy and how invested he is , it might freak him out. But speaking for myself that conversation would definitely NOT freak me out especially if I was involved with a woman “courting” with the intention of marriage I would definitely 100% appreciate that kind of direct openness and honesty with A “DTR” conversation. In the past I have attempted the DTR and when it goes no where , it can leave one feeling vulnerable and unsure of the other persons true intentions of commitment. To break it down from a Christian mans perspective wanting commitment and marriage For me personally the DTR conversation would be something rather different In the way of a “proposal”.... I mean well... If things were going well ,everything is there in what I’m looking for in a Godly wife and I’m sure of her then the DTR would be something in the way of a proposal. I think that would definitely define the relationship then LOL.

Im not Mark, but ive learned that Non sexual affection is very much needed for all married women. I recommend for a man a book called "The Exemplary Man". And for the woman: "The Excellant Wife". This book answers almost all the questios.
