This guy started a digital church that anyone on the internet could discover. From Christians trying to advance their faith to Athiests wanting to find God, to Hindus wanting to convert to worshipping the one true God. This is remarkable, and should be praised.
Hi, my name is Giuseppe, I am writing from Italy and I am Catholic but I wanted to give you my best compliments and encouragement for the precious service you carry out in favor of the Word of God and His Gospel! Like you, I also believe that the Church - all the Churches and Christian confessions! - they must be continually reformed to be ever more faithful to the mission that the Lord has given them and to become compliant with the One and Only Master who is the Lord Jesus! Please pray for us Catholics as I too will pray for your important mission on behalf of the Churches of the Reformation. The Lord bless you!
We need way more open minded Christians like you. Christian denominations are not competitors. They are witnessing and loving the same thing but from from a different seat in the same huge arena.
@@HorseloverFat1984 I agree.... I've seen some catholics that don't even like being called christians because of the whole enmity between Catholics and protestants. That made me really sad 😢.
I used to be kinda anti catholic... But the Lord humbled my heart. I absolutely agree with you... Fighting over these stuff doesn't make us look like real followers of Jesus.
I can admit the same even as an firm atheist who has studied Christian theology for basically my whole life.... I don't necessarily agree with Redeemed Zoomer on everything (obviously) but he has a great way of "drawing out" abstract concepts that are easy to share with my Pentecostal family members. Videos like this help me reference Christianity from a historical perspective, which is something I wasn't used to learning about growing up in a Charismatic/Pentecostal missionary household. Due to my missionary parents needing to fundraise at many churches, I have attended congregations of almost every denomination and these videos help me connect all the dots between nuanced differences in their beliefs.
He is a good speaker and is humble. Wish he would pick a denomination that wasn't founded by an evil man, that believed that God is evil and wants us to be damned.
Seems a bit silly if you ask me. This weird all-everything father creator dude is just a mathematical impossibility, let alone all the weird contradictory stuff like creating a finite sinful people to be saved, whilst everything being predestined. An infinite being cannot create meaning from arbitrariness.
@@LiberavenBe happy, you can believe in Christ and be saved. One time when i was going to Church on Easter, its fastes for me to just go straight foward. On half of the way, i felt like, (i do not know how to explain that ) , but i felt that i just must go right way, no straight foward. But i thinked, if i go right, i will then walk much longer. When i menage to walk straight foward, i again felt that i must go right. I tryed to ignore that feeling and just go straight, but that feeling couldn't left me, if i continued to go straight foward i felt that i whould be "exploded ". Then i felt again that i must go right. I think that God wanted me to go right, even if its longer way. So i get to go right, and after less of 5 minutes some friend with car comed to me on that path and said,, You going to Church? Come on, get in car. " It was big suprise. And so i get to Church like that, very faster. God made for me longer path shorter, it dose not matter what we people think or want, God always know better. If Lord , and Christianity is false, then Who said to me to go right?
@@LiberavenAnd When i was going back home from somwhere, i felt that i must go to house of my granpa. I wanted to go home but i felt that i must go to house of my granpa. Something was telling me that, and i could feel. I was lazy and tired and just wanted to go home, tryed to ignore that feeling or voice. But that feeling was not gonna left me. I felt that i whould "explode" if i did not go. So, i decided to go. When i arrived there, i found him lie down on floor of bathrom. He could not stood up alone. I helped him. How i whould ever know that? God who see all guided me there, to use me to help.
I'm Baptist, and I've always felt like it's important to take deep dives into Christianity. It helps us understand God's word and build on our personal relationship with Him! I've recently been researching all the different denominations of Christianity and learning the history behind the church, and this video teaches a lot of great information in just 10 minutes! Great video brother! Hope to see more like this in the future. God Bless!
can you remind god he can't just go around killing people and burning them alive for eternity just because they disagree with him, we have rights. and while you're at it, cold fusion, if god isn't going to do anything about putin (heart attack or something that looks natural), if he's not going to stop the war, (when did he ever stop a war) then the least he can do is hint as to how to get cold fusion working - has he seen my electricity bills since the ukraine debacle started, there's a love eh. don't be pushy though, god has a short fuse.
I'm just gonna watch this until it's DRILLED into my head, heart n' soul ✍️🏻📖 Keep this up please! Knowledge is power but Wisdom is the ultimate way to go!
Thank you for the work you are doing. It is profoundly inspiring to someone who spent so long looking into different religions and denominations to see someone who similarly is sharing the love for this beautiful religion with others and reinforcing its core beliefs and values.
I doubt you'll have time or the opportunity to read this but I hope so. This channel keeps getting better and better. Your content could've easily and profitably devolved into low effort drivel, spectacular videos that drag on banalities and aggrandize them to excite the spirit rather than elevate it or culture war engagement farming, but you keep explaining/discussing actual serious ideas and doing so to serve a specific, articulated purpose. Kudos !
Good idea starting a course on reformed theology. Much appreciated. God bless bro. It is really necessary for us reformed Christians to have a strong foundation in our faith.
A really well put together, concise and helpful playlist on Church history and doctrine. Indeed an endowment and a gift. Praise God!...and thank you for your faithful work in putting all these together!
I could not BY ANY MEANS explain like you did. All glory to God The Father, The Son, and The Holy Spirit. May God keep blessing you with wisdom and health. (Pd: amazing video💯)
Thank you so much for this series!! I’ve been looking for helpful and simple videos about protestantism but its been hard since it is a complex theology system!! thank u!!!
Thank you for this video. I’ve just started reading the New Testament starting with Mathew this video definitely helps me understand more of the church’s history; while I try to understand the word of god and relearn what I had forgotten in my childhood. God bless and peace be with you
When I went to the website everything I read, in my head, was in your voice:) ... The map took me to an Anglican Church, the only one mapped in my city.
If you haven't read the Athanasian creed you are really missing out. It is written very beautifully and thoroughly about what we as Christians believe about the trinity and the incarceration of our Lord Jesus Christ
@@Avram_Orozco Revelation 19:11-16 NKJV [11] Now I saw heaven opened, and behold, a white horse. And He who sat on him was called Faithful and True, and in righteousness He judges and makes war. [12] His eyes were like a flame of fire, and on His head were many crowns. He had a name written that no one knew except Himself. [13] He was clothed with a robe dipped in blood, and His name is called The Word of God. [14] And the armies in heaven, clothed in fine linen, white and clean, followed Him on white horses. [15] Now out of His mouth goes a sharp sword, that with it He should strike the nations. And He Himself will rule them with a rod of iron. He Himself treads the winepress of the fierceness and wrath of Almighty God. [16] And He has on His robe and on His thigh a name written: KING OF KINGS AND LORD OF LORDS. Jesus Crist is King of King and Lord of Lords.✝️
Thanks @redeemedzoomer6053 for all that you do. You're a great communicator of the truth. I love how you make "boring church history" exciting and funny. My kids love watching and are learning. Blessings to you brother!
This narrative is hilarious. I really enjoy listening to these stories at age 76 and finally understanding why I was so confused as a Catholic trying to make sense of reality. I support what you are doing and give you a thumbs up because you are helping me to see more clearly the number of contradictions and the negative impact these ridiculous stories are having on critical thinking.
Unrelated but you should hold another contest for the "explaining your denomination". The video did well and I might even submit something since I didn't know about it last time.
Speaking with alot of reverence for the chruch fathers and the saints. And speaking with alot of respect for the nicene creed. This video my brother is full of convincing arguments to become orthodox. But you have yet to convince yourself. God bless you my brother
Even if the reconquista fails I see the end result being a bunch of young faithful Christians purified by the Word absolutely on fire for God dedicated to spreading His kingdom. A real win-win!
Well, I guess churches of other denominations won't mind accepting into their ranks all the defeated crusaders if the reconquista were to fail. I'm skeptical about the ability to reform the PCUSA but only God knows.
Not the first time I'm seeing comments like this lol. Redeemed Zoomer seems to keep accidentally converting people to Orthodoxy despite being totally biased in favor of the Reformed tradition lol.
“Who is God? God is three. What is God? God is one.” Not sure if that’s original with Redeemed Zoomer, but this quote alone is a reason to subscribe. Many thanks.
I am an elder and Session Clerk in the Church of Scotland. Sadly, error has crept into our Church as well, although not, perhaps, to the degree that you are faced with. May the Holy Spirit inspire your struggle, to the praise of God's glorious grace!
I meant more in a sense that for me it doesn't seem like they are trying to get me involved, more that there is information there and its being presented, nothing more.@@comicsans1689
I like your video style. I think you're very, very talented. Since this is Chapter 1, and your thumbnail did say the one thing all denominations agree on, I do think we should look at … Love. We can have all hermeneutical hypotheses of proper theological timelines but if we do not have love, we have failed, as I think Paul would agree and mentions regularly in his epistles Jesus Christ said, if we love him, we will follow his command, and that is to love. Jesus Christ is our Savior, but he is also our Lord and Savior. We cannot forget the Lord part, and the Lord gives a command, and that command is to love. Everything hinges upon love. Number one is love, and actually everything is hung below that. Jesus has set this hierarchy himself in all the gospels . This is our command. I am grateful for salvation. I am grateful for the ability to study historical details. However, I am aware that it is possible for Christians to get caught up in religious detail while forgetting love, so I do think it is important for us all to resonate on love and ask the deep questions of what is love, and why did Jesus say everything else was hung upon it? How can we approach our metaphysical perspectives with this as our most prime focus? As the thumbnail begs the question, what do all denominations agree on? I do believe the vast majority believe that Jesus Christ himself places a hierarchy with greatest thing that we can do in whatever free will we do have is….. to love with our mind, heart strength, and soul
@redeemedzoomer love your explanations on these things i would love for you to join a live panel where we can talk theology. I really like how u break things down in a simple manner
Good video. Despite the fact you failed to mention, that the Apostles had actual disciples. For example St John the apostle had two student known as St Ignatius of Antioch and St PolyCarp and St Paul the apostle had a student named St Clement of Rome etc. This is important because we have the writing of the disciples of these apostles preserved, and their teaching are identical to what is taught in oriental orthodoxy.
Thanks for explaining what the letters to the different people were and how they came about. I am interested to see how the Presbyterian church of the USA split from the catholic church.
0:53 I’m literally eating breakfast whilst watching this, just for me to be reminded that God knows what I had for breakfast. If this doesn’t prove God’s existence I don’t know what does.
