@@Clownconspiratorquote was taken out of context and spread about as far as the priority patch jinx loons. Y’all are the worst. It’s why I left the Reddit thread. Too many doomers and idiots.
@@nirvanaguitar He means that all the media and analysts predicted the red wings would be below ottawa and buffalo near the bottom of the standings. He's right when he says it. He's not being negative, he actually means it as a compliment. I think you lack context.
The Wings are fortunate to have Lalonde. There is much improvement in the team this season and they are beginning to believe in themselves. To all the naysayers, save your comments. I'm behind this team. They have a great future in front of them. 🏒LGRW
There are 4 things we need to be doing every game from here on in. 1. Slow down the pressure of the playoff race. 2. Stop the puck on defense by any means necessary. 3. Score a huge amount of goals in every game we play. 4. The game needs to end with the team wearing (Red and White) specifically need to win when there is a official winner.
I'll add to that list: Wings need to fore check and put a body on the opposing team's best players; they need to hold up opposing players on defense closer to the blue line, rather than allow them to get into their own (Wings) zone especially with odd man rushes; Wings need to "Holmstrom" the front of the opposing goalie/get somebody in front or near the opposing net when Wings have puck possession, and for that to take place, Wings must handle the puck more than the opposing team------ puck possession and an excellent defense are key to winning games. Wings must not keep sending the puck into the opposing team's zone unless they're icing it to stop and slow down the play of the game. When the Wings toss the puck into the opposing team's zone without recovering, they're giving the opposing team additional chances to create plays to score, especially if the Wings are caught in a line change or caught sleeping on the ice/bad defensive tactic!!! Wings must continue to win the battles in faceoffs and in the corners; play for 60 minutes, especially play DEFENSE for 60 minutes; slow down the game at their (Wings) pace---- if need be, ice the d---mn puck when opposing team is pressuring and taking a flurry of good shots in the Wings zone; and d---mn it, play to win!!! Don't get into the habit of always trying to win it in OT or a shoot out. Although winning in OT and shootouts are good, they're not as good as winning in regulation hockey, which is key to success.
All we need besides defense is Kane needs to be a sniper again. Take the puck out of the zone, be a puck hog and shoot. Forget passing to make the play. The play should be rebound goals off his shot. No reason for him to keep the puck to look around for a pass. That causes turnovers. He should have a lot more goals than he currently does.
I think thats the problem with our power play right now, not just kane but everyone is always looking for the extra pass when if they put a shot on net its gonna make chaos, fabris goal last game, Kanes goal last game all come from Shooting the puck and weird bounces/rebounds Popping out for us
there are a lot of people that aren't scoring that should be, can't just put it all on Kane. He didn't sign on the wings to come carry them on his back
So when is petry held accountable? You haven’t ever held that trashcan on skates accountable. I don’t even care that he possibly saved the game. It’s about time he starts making up for his trashcan mistakes
@@moreza4689 he's been a liability and a huge reason of a lot of goals against and game losses lately so just because he made one play that saved a game doesn't mean he's gonna keep saving games, just wait
