The first prophecy needed more justice done to it. It was not just that there will be rivers and gardens in the future from the deserts of the Arab peninsula but they will "become rivers and forests like they used to be". We know through modern Geography and science that the Arab peninsula was a lush green land full of water and plants and trees. This was hundreds of thousands of years ago so the Prophet Mohammed (SAWS) could only have known that via divine knowledge.

So now he has a choice, to follow the one logical belief or follow some other illogical belief. All his stuff at 15:35 "Someone could argue against your points" doesn't mean they can argue against them successfully. Is that person going to be honest that argues with Shamsi? Are they going to ask loaded questions and make emotional appeals to convince others? That's the problem, they either do something underhand like that or they accept what Shamsi says as they recognize it as truth. There is no one that can successfully argue with the truth and that your logic recognizes it should be a sign to you to use what you've been given. I love that Allah tells us to use our intellect and it's sad when humans say things like I don't use logic in my belief...how can a human, a being that operates with logic toss it to the side for something the person is claiming is so important like our eternal resting place?

I really enjoyed listening to this BarakAllahu Feek. I do not have the patience for dealing with some of the extremely argumentative people that go to Speakers Corner (like Hatun). The kid in this video seemed like he was willing to listen and did not use harshness against Shamsi out of arrogance. May Allah guide the kid. Shamsi spoke very well and brought very good, easy to understand points in a clear and concise manner. May Allah grant many blessings upon Shamsi and increase his knowledge of Deen.

Shamsi missed a trick when the gentlemen mentioned that books tend to have discrepancies through time especially if it was written by man, although Shamsi did explain how the Quran been memorized, yet with that example, he only scratched the surface when it comes to showcasing how the Quran was preserved. He could have further showcased with many examples in the scientific study of language ie; "linguistics" how can a human author volume of words in a speech format without being written at first nor edited, be produced in increments for a span of 23 years and not find a single grammatical mistake nor a style change. Furthermore, showcasing deeper examples and ingenuity of word positioning supported and viewed through a mathematical lens to deliver superiority and command in the speech itself! For instance, the Baqara chapter has 286 verses and in one verse it says "We've made you into a middle nation" and since the word "middle" is used it was placed in the middle of the actual chapter at verse 143! remember now, this was delivered in a speech, not in written format by a man who could not read nor write. This is one of many linguistic examples in the Quran that will make sit up and ask a very simple question "Can someone actually speak like that?" Truly some mind-boggling stuff! "Do they not consider the Qur'an (with care)? Had it been from other than Allah, they would surely have found therein much discrepancy." [Qur'an 4:82]

I love my brother Shamsi for the sake of Allah. In my opinion, he is the most sincere brother in the park. May Allah hold him firm upon the truth and increase him in knowledge. The Messenger of Allah (Peace be upon him) said: “Aim to do good and do what you can. Do your duties early in the day or in the afternoon, or at night, and be moderate, and you will succeed.” Narrated by al-Bukhaari (6463) and Muslim (2818).

Beautiful advise from the Shaykh Al ‘Allaamah 'Abdul 'Azeez Ibn Baaz (rahimullah).. It was said to the shaykh, “Oh shaykh, so and so has become misguided”. The Shaykh replied: “Perhaps his deviation was due to two things: 1. He didn’t ask Allâh for Ath-thabaat (firmness). 2. He didn’t thank Allâh for Al-Istiqaamah (steadfastness) So when Allâh chose for you the path of guidance, it was not because you are special, nor was it because of your obedience. But rather, it was a mercy from Him that enveloped you. He can remove it from you at any time. Therefore, do not be deceived by your actions nor by your worship. And do not look down upon the one who has deviated from His path. For had it not been due to His mercy, you would have been in his position. Repeat the recitation of this verse while pondering: ﴿ ولوﻵ أن ثبتناك لقد كدت تركن إليهم شيئا قليلا ﴾ "Had We not made you firm (Oh Muhammed صلى الله عيه وسلم) then you would have inclined towards them slightly.” So upon is to not to think that thabaat (firmness) upon Al-Istiqaamah (steadfastness) is due to your own personal achievements. Ponder over His statement (Ta'aalaa) to the best of mankind: “Had We not made you firm (Oh Muhammad صلى الله عيه وسلم).” So how about you? We are greatly mistaken when we disregard and pay no attention to our athkaar (supplications of remembrance). We believe it to be something that is not important and we forget that Allâh preserves us with it. And perhaps the decree will change… Ibnul-Qayyim says: “The need of the servant in his supplications by which he seeks refuge [in Allah], is more severe than his need for food, drink and clothes!” Be consistent in your athkaar (supplications of remembrance), so that you can encompass the meaning: “Preserve Allâh, He will preserve you.” Fortify [yourselves] every morning and evening [with your athkaar (supplications of remembrance)]. For the dunya (life of this world) is horrifying and full of surprises and Allâh is the protector of His servants. ● Shaykh Abdul ‘Aziz bin Baaz Majmoo al Fatawa (297\4)

I thought that shamsi would then explain the miracle that yes god’s book will not change and Quran hasn’t coz god has mentioned and that’s in itself is proof of its truth but INSTEAD SHAMSI had in his mind other points which he wanted to tell .... LIKE he didn’t realize to answer the guy actual confusion rather he just tell his other points .... THIS IS A DANGEROUS POSITION .... his intentions are good but he forgets to realize what the listener might be hearing ...... what the listener is asking rather shamsi thinks about his mind only and kinda forgets if the answer is reaching the listener or not

May Allah guide him. Straightforward and honest guy. Islam makes sense to him but he said he doesn’t care about religious doctrine. So it has satisfied his mind, and In Sha Allah it will enter his heart too and he’ll accept it.

Basically, Christian theology is confusing. But God is not a god of confusion. So, even the Bible is saying, one of the criterion for the truth should be it is not confusing. If a book has contradictions then it isn't all from God. If it permits killing of innocents, even though murder is clearly forbidden, then it has been corrupted, and so on.

Abu Hurairah narrated that the Prophet said:“There are two statements that are light on the tongue, heavy on the scales, and beloved to the Most Merciful: Subahana Allahi wa bihamdihi, Subhana Allahi Al-`Azeem (Glory and praise be to Allah, Glorified is Allah, the Most Great.)” (Al-Bukhari) 4. Abu Hurairah reported that the Prophet said: He who repeats after every prayer: Subhan Allah (Glory be to Allah) thirty-three times, Al-hamdu lillah (praise be to Allah) thirty-three times, Allahu Akbar (Allah is Greatest) thirty-three times; and completes the hundred with: La ilaha illallahu, wahdahu la sharika lahu, lahul-mulku wa lahul-hamdu, wa Huwa `ala kulli shai’in qadir (There is no true god except Allah. He is One and He has no partner. His is the sovereignty and His is the praise, and He is Omnipotent)Will have all his sins pardoned even if they may be as large as the foam on the surface of the sea.” (Muslim) 5. Zaid ibn Harithah narrated that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: Whosoever says: ‘Astaghfirullaha al-`Azeem al-ladhi la ilaha illa howa Al-Hayy al-Qayyum wa atubu illayh(I ask forgiveness of Allah, the Magnificent, than Whom there is no deity, the Living, the Sustainer of existence, and I turn to Him in repentance,) his sins will be forgiven even if he should have run away from the battlefield (while he was engaged in fighting for the Cause of Allah, which is a grave sin in Islam). (Abu Dawud and authenticated by Al-Albani) 6. The Prophet peace be upon him said "Whosoever recites Durood Sharief on me 10 times in the morning and evening, I will intercede for him on the day of Qiyamah." (TIBRANI) 7. Whoever reads Surah Ikhlas ten times, Allah will build a palace for him in Paradise. ‘Umar (may Allah be pleased with him) exclaimed, “If that’s the case, then we will increase in our palaces!” The Prophet ﷺ (may the peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) responded, “Allah is better and greater (in reward).” [Ahmad] 8. Whoever reads Surat al-Kahf on Friday, it will act as a light/protection for him from one Friday to the next. [Bayhaqi] 9. Whoever performs their ablution carefully and then affirms (their faith by testifying): “Ash-hadu an laa ilaha il Allah wahdahu laa shareeka lahu wa anna Muhammadan `abduhu wa rasuluhu; Allahumma-ja’lni min at-tawaabeen waj-a’lni min al-mutatahireen”: ‘I testify that there is no true deity except Allah Alone, Who has no partners, and that Muhammad ﷺ is His slave and Messenger; O Allah, make me from those who repent and purify themselves’ - the eight gates of Jannah are opened for him so he may enter through whichever of these gates he desires.[Tirmidhi] 10. Whoever says: “Radheetu billahi Rabba, wa bil Islaami Deena, wa bi Muhammad Nabiyya” - ‘I am pleased with Allah as my Lord, and with Islam as my Religion, and with Muhammad as my Prophet,’ Paradise would be (made) mandatory for him. [Abu Dawud] 11. Whoever asks Allah for Paradise three times (Allahumma inni as’aluk al-Jannah), then Paradise will say: “O Allah! Enter him into Paradise!” And whoever seeks protection with Allah from the Fire three times (Allahumma ajirni min an-Nar), the Fire will say: “O Allah! Protect him from the Fire!” [Tirmidhi] 12. Whoever is easy-going, gentle and kind, Allah will make the fire forbidden for him. [Hakim] 13. In Paradise there are rooms whose outside can be seen from the inside and the inside can be seen from the outside. Allah has prepared them for those who feed the poor, who are gentle in speech, who fast regularly and who pray at night when (other) people are asleep. [Ahmad] 14. Narrated from Abu Hurayrah that the Prophet (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) said: “There is a soorah of the Qur’an, with thirty verses, that interceded for a man until he was forgiven; it is ‘Soorah Tabaarak Alladhi bi yadihi’l-mulk (Blessed is He in Whose Hand is the dominion)’ [al-Mulk 67:1].” 15. Say this 3 times for 6 hours worth of reward: Subhan-Allah Wa bihamdihi, ‘adada khalqihi, wa rida-a nafsihi, wa zenatee ‘arshihi, wa midada kalimatihi(Allah is free from imperfection and I begin with His praise, as many times as the number of His creatures, in accordance with His Good Pleasure, equal to the ink that may be used in recording the words (for His Praise).” (Muslim)

Allah said: "How can I have children when I have got no wife?" Qur'an Surah 6 Verse 101 and Allah is unique and there is nothing like Him. Qur'an Surah 112. Also read in Qur'an Surah Maidah 5 Verses 110 to 120 where the miracles of Jesus (pbuh) were done by Allah. Also read the mother of Jesus in the Qur'an Surah Maryam 19 explaining that Jesus (pbuh) is a prophet and messenger of Allah. *NOTES: Please can you read the Al-Hilali and Muhsin Khan translation of the Qur'an.*
