Exactly, their team orders are there to ensure the maximum points for the constructors championship. That’s what all teams care about the most, drivers championship is second. Always been that way

Both Spain and Monaco were expertly and correctly managed by the pit wall. Checo is a great driver, but Max will be faster on most courses.

Im 100 percent checos fan. But even I don't have a hard time admitting that max is one of a kind. He eats on the same table as all the michaels, sennas, Hamiltons, alonsos of the world. But, lets give credit where credit is due. If max is satisfied with the result, we can all be aswell.. For me, if checo is on pace and it does not compromise the team, let them have at it. And delight us with a show!

@@jonbrook4009 Perez was on a different strategy and could not have prevented Max from winning. So it was fair and he realized it post race.

@@jonbrook4009 verstappen would have overtook perez anyway cuz of his strategy. they changed them so they wouldnt fight for the place and damage their tyres or risk an accident in the process. they explained that to checo afterwards and he understood

Following that, it's my opinion that the video doesn't take Jos's comments out of context - they read quite a lot of the article in the video, including Jos acknowledging his bias. I'd be interested in hearing how the video takes the article out of context from you. A lot of us have our own context though, which is Spain. Max wound up in the Gravel, was handed a massively better strategy, then granted P1 by way of team orders. Monaco seems to be the first time that Checo hasn't been used as a 2nd driver for Max. Almost half of the article is Jos complaining about Max not getting a fair shake when Red Bull has a pile of drivers they've pushed out over the last several years in order to better support Max. It's ironic. Regardless - Jos can say anything he wants, and that doesn't mean it will "go over well". No one is immune from social consequences of free speech. It doesn't mean that Christian Horner or Pit Stop or the public is supposed to pat him on the back and simply thank him for posting his opinion. He commented on RB's management of their team. We shouldn't be surprised that Horner replied, and he shouldn't be surprised that news media is interested in covering this drama. There are lots of things that we might have an impulse to say because of how we feel about a situation, but we can still choose to not say those things when we ask ourselves if our feelings represent reality well. Jos' feelings toward RB don't seem to reflect reality, but chose to speak anyway. It's not going over well.

I think Max has outgrown his father. He'st not as hot-headed as before. And you could see at the end of Monaco GP he was actually happy for Checo and his win.

Max hasn't been forced into this life by his dad. He had a passion in motor racing and when he was in his junior formula stage of his career helmut marko took him into rbr and got him a seat for f1. That doesn't sound like Jos doing anything but supporting his decisions. Yeah I don't like him either, but I don't think he's forced max into anything.

@@sammartin8747 Max once made a mistake in karting and Jos left him behind at a filling station in Italy as punishment and Max had to get his mum to pick him up. There’s no doubt that his dad has pressured him into being the driver that he is now.

If u read Horner's respose to Jos u will see clearly that they are getting fed up with his dad's constant jibes & indirect attack on Checo who is there to also deliver be it first or second,meanwhile had it not been for Checo last season his son would have bottled the championship
