Hi friend! I too am a a former elementary teacher and reading has always been my favorite simubject to teach. I believe it's fundamental even for all the other subjects. Will beging using Christian Light for math, but I am very interested to hear about their reading resources.💖☺️
Hi, just from the samples I saw stories about the titanic and massacres. What is the story about the African American boy on the cover about? Is about missionaries or slavery? I have a gifted but young sensitive reader and I don’t know if they can handle so many traumatic stories. I love cle la so I would love to see if this could be a good fit. Thank
I haven’t forgotten about your question. So far she has read five stories and says there is action, but nothing she says seemed scary. My daughter was sensitive earlier on and a high reader so I definitely understand your concern. 😄
