I agree it makes a change to hear a respectful debate... However (IMO), there are inconsistencies in the Bible, the Koran and the Torah... So many around the world only believe because these are the stories we learn as children. We return to the comfort of those stories we heard as children...

The changes are happening as we speak. Supernaturally. Meaning a Bible you have had for 50 years is being changes as if someone went back in time and changed it. This is the claim people are making. So your Koran cam be changed in the same way.

To say Jesus has experienced everything we have…How does he explain the marriage and children aspect? Or the pain from the loss of a spouse or child? Or the pain of sinning and turning back to God in all sincerity?

@Samya.R Where does scripture say that “Jesus has experienced everything we have…”, including that which you then go on to list? What scripture does say is,👇🏽: Hebrews 2:14-18 KJV: Forasmuch then as the children are partakers of flesh and blood, he also himself likewise took part of the same; that through death he might destroy him that had the power of death, that is, the devil; [15] And deliver them who through fear of death were all their lifetime subject to bondage. [16] For verily he took not on him the nature of angels; but he took on him the seed of Abraham. [17] 👉🏽Wherefore in all things it behoved him to be made like unto his brethren, 👉🏽that he might be a merciful and faithful high priest in things pertaining to God, to make reconciliation for the sins of the people. [18] 👉🏽➡️For in that he himself hath suffered being tempted,⬅️👈🏽 👉🏽he is able to succour them that are tempted.👈🏽 👆🏽So what this is saying/means is that since Jesus took on flesh and blood as people have, He went through every temptation that mankind can go through - now we have to define what those temptations are?? The temptation to sin against, deny, and/or disbelieve God (see Matthew 4 & Luke 4 KJV, and Job 1 & 2 KJV)… Whatever the reason temptation comes for: whether it’s because someone lost a child and is now tempted of the Devil and their own sinful lusts to stop believing/having faith in God and/or hate or curse Him, or; if someone got into an accident and lost their limbs and is now tempted to disbelieve that God is good: temptation to sin against, deny, and/or disbelieve God is temptation. So Jesus didn’t have to go through losing the things you listed to have experienced (the suffering of) temptations, He suffered them anyway in endeavouring to do the will of the Father and complete His earthly mission - which He did perfectly by the way - as we all do in our endeavours to do the will of the Father and complete our earthly missions which He gave us to fulfil. Furthermore, scripture doesn’t say you said about Christ - that “Jesus has experienced everything we have…”, including that which you then go on to list - but it says what it says in the verses I copied and pasted for you to read.

My dear Richard, am sure you're a good man, and you too seem logical. Ironically, though, your explanation throughout is far from logical. Instead, you make it far more complicated when things are so crystal clear. Don't think we need to be a rocket scientist to comprehend a simple concept that can be easily understood even by laymen. A lot of respect for your (and everybody's) choice, though, but I do hope you wanna open your mind and search sincerely for the true path. May He show you the way.

This preacher's stance on the Logos sounds all well and good until you take into account that it still can't literally be true. It's still just a metaphor. It all just falls apart. And Jews have debunked this whole sacrifice for atonement thing, but let's go with it anyway. So God "needs" an innocent animal's blood. Tell me, please. Is there a "guilty" animal? Are animals accountable?

*Clear Contradictions in the New Testament Bible* 1. Jesus descended from which son of David? Solomon (Matthew 1:6) Nathan(Luke3:31) 2. Who was the father of Jechoniah? Josiah (Matthew 1:11) Jeholakim (I Chronicles 3:16) 3. How many generations were there from the Babylonian exile until Christ? Matthew says fourteen (Matthew 1:17) But a careful count of the generations reveals only thirteen (see Matthew 1: 12-16) 4. Who was the father of Shelah? Cainan (Luke 3:35-36) Arphaxad (Genesis II: 12) 5. Was John the Baptist Elijah who was to come? Yes (Matthew II: 14, 17:10-13) No (John 1:19-21) 6. Would Jesus inherit Davids throne? Yes. So said the angel (Luke 1:32) No, since he is a descendant of Jehoiakim (see Matthew 1: I 1, I Chronicles 3:16). And Jehoiakim was cursed by God so that none of his descendants can sit upon Davids throne (Jeremiah 36:30) 7. Jesus rode into Jerusalem on how many animals? One - a colt (Mark 11:7; cf Luke 19:3 5). And they brought the colt to Jesus and threw their garments on it; and he sat upon it. Two - a colt and an ass (Matthew 21:7). They brought the ass and the colt and put their garments on them and he sat thereon. 8. How did Simon Peter find out that Jesus was the Christ? By a revelation from heaven (Matthew 16:17) His brother Andrew told him (John 1:41) 9. Where did Jesus first meet Simon Peter and Andrew? By the sea of Galilee (Matthew 4:18-22) On the banks of river Jordan (John 1:42). After that, Jesus decided to go to Galilee (John 1:43) 10. When Jesus met Jairus was Jairus daughter already dead? Yes. Matthew 9:18 quotes him as saying, My daughter has just died. No. Mark 5:23 quotes him as saying, My little daughter is at the point of death. 11. According to the Gospel of John, what did Jesus say about bearing his own witness? If I bear witness to myself, my testimony is not true (John 5:3 1) Even if I do bear witness to myself, my testimony is true (John 8:14) 12. When Jesus entered Jerusalem did he cleanse the temple that same day? Yes (Matthew 21:12) No. He went into the temple and looked around, but since it was very late he did nothing. Instead, he went to Bethany to spend the night and returned the next morning to cleanse the temple (Mark I 1:1- 17) 13. The Gospels say that Jesus cursed a fig tree. Did the tree wither at once? Yes. (Matthew 21:19) No. It withered overnight (Mark II: 20) 14. Did Judas kiss Jesus? Yes (Matthew 26:48-50) No. Judas could not get close enough to Jesus to kiss him (John 18:3-12) 15. What did Jesus say about Peters denial? The cock will not crow till you have denied me three times (John 13:38) Before the cock crows twice you will deny me three times (Mark 14:30) . When the cock crowed once, the three denials were not yet complete (see Mark 14:72). Therefore prediction (a) failed. 16. Did Jesus bear his own cross? Yes (John 19:17) No (Matthew 27:31-32) 17. Did Jesus die before the curtain of the temple was torn? Yes (Matthew 27:50-51; Mark lS:37-38) No. After the curtain was torn, then Jesus crying with a loud voice, said, Father, into thy hands I commit my spirit! And having said this he breathed his last (Luke 23:45-46) 18. Where was Jesus at the sixth hour on the day of the crucifixion? On the cross (Mark 15:23) In Pilates court (John 19:14) 19. The gospels say that two thieves were crucified along with Jesus. Did both thieves mock Jesus? Yes (Mark 15:32) No. One of them mocked Jesus, the other defended Jesus (Luke 23:43) 20. Did Jesus ascend to Paradise the same day of the crucifixion? Yes. He said to the thief who defended him, Today you will be with me in Paradise (Luke 23:43) No. He said to Mary Magdelene two days later, I have not yet ascended to the Father (John 20:17) 21. When Paul saw the light he fell to the ground. Did his traveling companions also fall to the ground? Yes (Acts 26:14) No (Acts 9:7) 22. What did Judas do with the blood money he received for betraying Jesus? He bought a field (Acts 1: 18) He threw all of it into the temple and went away. The priests could not put the blood money into the temple treasury, so they used it to buy a field to bury strangers (Matthew 27:5) 23. How did Judas die? After he threw the money into the temple he went away and hanged himself (Matthew 27:5) After he bought the field with the price of his evil deed he fell headlong and burst open in the middle and all his bowels gushed out (Acts 1:18) 24. Why is the field called Field of Blood? Because the priests bought it with the blood money (Matthew 27:8) Because of the bloody death of Judas therein (Acts 1:19) 25. Who is a ransom for whom? The Son of Man came...to give his life as a ransom for many (Mark 10:45). Christ Jesus who gave himself as a ransom for all... (I Timothy 2:5-6) The wicked is a ransom for the righteous, and the faithless for the upright (Proverbs 21:18) 26. What was the exact wording on the cross? This is Jesus the King of the Jews (Matthew 27:37) The King of the Jews (Mark 15:26) This is the King of the Jews (Luke 23:38) Jesus of Nazareth, the King of the Jews (John 19:19) 27. Was Jesus crucified on the daytime before the Passover meal or the daytime after? After (Mark 14:12-17) Before. Before the feast of the Passover (John 1) Judas went out at night (John 13:30). The other disciples thought he was going out to buy supplies to prepare for the Passover meal (John 13:29). When Jesus was arrested, the Jews did not enter Pilates judgment hail because they wanted to stay clean to eat the Passover (John 18:28). When the judgment was pronounced against Jesus, it was about the sixth hour on the day of Preparation for the Passover (John 19:14) 28. Did Jesus pray to The Father to prevent the crucifixion? Yes. (Matthew 26:39; Mark 14:36; Luke 22:42) No. (John 12:27) 29. In the gospels which say that Jesus prayed to avoid the cross, how many times did he move away from his disciples to pray? Three (Matthew 26:36-46 and Mark 14:32-42) One. No opening is left for another two times. (Luke 22:39-46) 30. Matthew and Mark agree that Jesus went away and prayed three times. What were the words of the second prayer? Mark does not give the words but he says that the words were the same as the first prayer (Mark 14:3 9) Matthew gives us the words, and we can see that they are not the same as in the first (Matthew 26:42) 31. What did the centurion say when Jesus dies? Certainly this man was innocent (Luke 23:47) Truly this man was the Son of God (Mark 15:39) 32. According to the gospels, what were the last words of Jesus before he died? Father, into thy hands I commit my spirit! (Luke 23:46) "It is finished" (John 19:30) 33. When Jesus entered Capernaum he healed the slave of a centurion. Did the centurion come personally to request Jesus for this? Yes (Matthew 8:5) No. He sent some elders of the Jews and his friends (Luke 7:3,6) 34. Apart from Jesus did anyone else ascend to heaven? No (John 3:13) Yes. And Elijah went up by a whirlwind into heaven (2 Kings 2:11) 35. Was Jesus body wrapped in spices before burial in accordance with Jewish burial customs? Yes and his female disciples witnessed his burial (John 19:39-40) No. Jesus was simply wrapped in a linen shroud. Then the women bought and prepared spices so that they may go and anoint him [Jesus) (Mark 16: 1) 36. When did the women buy the spices? After the Sabbath was past (Mark 16:1) Before the Sabbath. The women prepared spices and ointments. Then, on the Sabbath they rested according to the commandment (Luke 23:55 to 24:1) 37. At what time of day did the women visit the tomb? Toward the dawn (Matthew 28: 1) When the sun had risen (Mark 16:2) 38. What was the purpose for which the women went to the tomb? To anoint Jesus body with spices (Mark 16: 1; Luke 23:55 to 24: 1) To see the tomb. Nothing about spices here (Matthew 28: 1) For no specified reason. In this gospel the wrapping with spices had been done before the Sabbath (John 20: 1) 39. A large stone was placed at the entrance of the tomb. Where was the stone when the women arrived? They saw that the stone was Rolled back (Mark 16:4) They found the stone rolled away from the tomb (Luke 24:2) They saw that the stone had been taken away from the tomb (John 20:1) As the women approached, an angel descended from heaven, rolled away the stone, and conversed with the women. Matthew made the women witness the spectacular rolling away of the stone (Matthew 28:1-6) 40. When did Mary Magdelene first meet the resurrected Jesus? And how did she react? Mary and the other women met Jesus on their way back from their first and only visit to the tomb. They took hold of his feet and worshipped him (Matthew 28:9) On her second visit to the tomb Mary met Jesus just outside the tomb. When she saw Jesus she did not recognize him. She mistook him for the gardener. She still thinks that Jesus body is laid to rest somewhere and she demands to know where. But when Jesus said her name she at once recognized him and called him Teacher. Jesus said to her, Do not hold me... (John 20:11 to 17) With these open contradictions, do you still believe that this is the work of God? How could God or the Holy spirit inspire two people to write different accounts on the same incidence that occurred once!

Only 40?? Where’s the Quran list?? People of all faiths make mistakes & intentionally mislead but Jesus based His statements on a higher level of looking at “scripture” - one that depends on the Father’s interpretation not on the various disagreeing factions of the religious system’s opinions of His revelation. Both things are always simultaneously true in this skewed world we live in & must be taken into account to arrive at “truth”. This system conspired to kill the Lord for thinking that way…& in so doing unwittingly completed Gods greater plan…it all still works toward that end today but He will return to resolve it all soon & finish what He started. Im of the opinion that everyone will do well to seriously consider the Words of Jesus /Yeshua/Isa that we do have in the meantime & more importantly to seek to know Him personally for higher proof of His authenticity.

The entire problem with this conversation is their focus on the material world. They are too focused on the delusion and the physical world. The truth is that God is against religion and man's interpretation of what the word of God is. The word of God was only physical in the form of flesh when Christ came to Earth. But God wants to know us and to know God is to speak to God in prayer. When we pray and ask God into our lives and into our hearts we develop a personal relationship with God and those who thirst for greater wisdom and knowledge will find truth in their hearts. That truth is a gift that comes when one receives the Holy Spirit.

Jesus was quoting a verse from Psalm. My facts might be a little off but it was a part of a Psalm (song) from King David (again forgive me if its not David). The psalm had the same line "My God, my God, why have you forsaken me?". It was a foreshadowing song. When Jesus said it, he was referring to the Psalm. Jesus never once had doubt.

I've read in an online article somewhere that the roots of the Aramaic should more say "My God, My God, for this purpose was I spared, for this purpose..." (...was I saved) That's what I remember. If not this, then it is likely a reference to Psalm 22 which ends in victory.

The trinity is a pagan belief of 3 gods, god the father, god the son, god the holy spirit. God is not 3 persons, nor is He 3 gods. That doctrine comes from Alexandria, Egypt and the majority of denominations, including Catholicism, have followed suit. The God head is in the bible, not the trinity. We are made in God's image. God is the soul, Jesus is the body, and the Spirit is the Holy Spirit. We have a soul, a body, and a spirit / ruach. In Him dwells all the fullness of the Godhead bodily. Colossians 2:9

The points that dont sit well with me: 1. "God is spirit, he took human soul so that He could experience everything including death", Allah is all knowing, He doesnt need that, experience the creation including earth, the fruit, etc, i think this is where we differ, Christian would say we limit God where we say otherwise. 2. "God died for our sin, but only the flesh", this is way to complicate a simple thing in my humble opinion. 3. "God make the air of our salvation as someone who has suffered....", totally agree, we call them Prophets, at this point I dont understand why Jesus / Isa (AS) is so much different from the other while they know about the other Prophets. 4. "It is absurd" then he replied "If you look it logically yes, but if you look at it experiencially..." once he throw the logic out of the window I stop analyzing it, no point.

Well what quran say about this well first I am not the author I am just quoting what is showed to me 46. Among those who have become Jews (Judaized) are some who alter the words from their context to distort their meanings, and say: "We have heard and we disobey," and, "Do hear us, may you turn dumb," (while pretending to say, "Will you hearken to us, O respected one!"), and "Listen to us! May you become deaf, O Shepherd!" (while pretending to say, "Attend to us!") - thus making a malicious play with their tongues and seeking to revile the (True) Religion. Had they but said, "We have heard and we obey," and "Listen to us," and "Favor us with your attention!", it would indeed have been for their own good, and more upright. But God has excluded them from His mercy because of their (willful, persistent) unbelief, and, but for a few, scarcely do they believe. It state the law was not changed but the some who interpret their own tongue And He has sent down upon you, [O Muhammad], the Book in truth, confirming what was before it. And He revealed the Torah and the Gospel. Before, as guidance for the people. And He revealed the Qur'an.” 3:3-4 Also: “And We sent, following in their footsteps, Jesus, the son of Mary, confirming that which came before him in the Torah; and We gave him the Gospel, in which was guidance and light and confirming that which preceded it of the Torah as guidance and instruction for the righteous.” 5:46 It’s clear enough that the Quran teaches the Bible to be from Allah. Next, the Quran clearly states that the Gospels have not been changed or corrupted, nor can they be: “For them are good tidings in the worldly life and in the Hereafter. No change is there in the words of Allah. That is what is the great attainment.” 10:64 And again: “And the word of your Lord has been fulfilled in truth and in justice. None can alter His words, and He is the Hearing, the Knowing.” 6:115 And yet again: “And certainly were messengers denied before you, but they were patient over [the effects of] denial, and they were harmed until Our victory came to them. And none can alter the words of Allah. And there has certainly come to you some information about the [previous] messengers.” 6:34 And again: And recite, [O Muhammad], what has been revealed to you of the Book of your Lord. There is no changer of His words.” 18:27 And logically the first copies of the preaching were written in papyrus but we can prove the oldest surviving copy form second century but papyrus don't have long life if used daily without preservation which those scriptures were heavily used even the gospels focus of different scenario which was preaching of different author view and they were Follow the same narrative not a different one And it was way before islam and quran 5.43-47 Also proves that jews and christian at the 7th century had the books of revelation and also tell them to judge by that And the changed part of bible is less then 1 percentage of some letter that can be traced back and also never interfere with the message of authors

This is a great conversation by two respectful people! It really is impossible for any human to know and understand the true physical/spiritual nature of God. Therefore, terms like the "Trinity" are only one perspective of that nature. But it does not make it true at all. It is just our way of using our terms to explain what might be potentially partially true. So two thousand years of scholarly debates was all a waste of time. IMO, of course. God even does that with us. Calling Jesus his "son" is simply a term we can relate to. No person knows what he really meant. Nevertheless, it's still interesting to hear people hash out their thoughts. Thumb's up!

At 21.09. Our christian freind brings up something along the lines that Islam insignifies ‘sin’. This is where i have been trying to advocate that to the world and Christians, us Muslims need to learn more about in depth and then educate the world about how profound, deep, and a history of content of what we possess around major concepts such as sins, forgiveness and redemption in Islam. I am of the belief that anyone who learns about the ‘science of Sins and forgiveness’ in islam will be inspired. Eg: Abu Huraira reported: The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said, “Verily, when the servant commits a sin a black spot appears upon his heart. If he abandons the sin, seeks forgiveness, and repents, then his heart will be polished. If he returns to the sin, the blackness will be increased until it overcomes his heart. It is the covering that Allah has mentioned: No, but on their hearts is a covering because of what they have earned.” (83:14) Source: Sunan al-Tirmidhī 3334

I'm thankful for the Work that Dr. James White, Dr. Daniel Brubaker, Dr. Shezahd Saleem have done. I've heard many Muslims are starting Dr. Ali Ataie has been advocating a closer look at the Biblical text and what the Qur'an and Qur'an alone has to say about it. He is of the Opinion that Scribes take the Biblical Text out of Context and mistranslate the original language. I don't believe this to be the case but I do respect Ali Taie for affirming that the Qur'an actually proves the Torah and Gospel to be inspired of God.

True. It has been horribly translated and changed. Still... the red line is crystal clear. Through Christ, God gave us back the divine life mankind lost in its fall. Hence the divine healing miracles and casting out of demons, we experience up to this day. To not see God in Christ.... is impossible. "The Father and I are one!" "If you see Me, you see the Father!" "Don't you believe that the Father is IN Me?" "ALL (!) AUTHORITY in heaven and earth has been given to Me!". (Only God has all authority). At healing the paralytic: "Your sins have been forgiven you!" (Only God can forgive sins). "I am THE (not a) light of the world"......: God. "I have come to give you Zoë (=divine life) in abundance".... Only God can give Zoë life. "I am from above, you are from beneath. You are from this world, I am not from this world"..... Etc, etc, etc, When He explained these things, healed the sick, casted out demons, raised the dead, controlled nature for 3 years, they all worshipped Him as God/Messiah.... except for the critical scholars and farisees! He NEVER said: "Don't worship Me, I am just a prophet!". The Jews wanted to stone Him because: "You claim to be God". So Jesus is God manifesting in Human form. Period. Glad He did. So now we finally know the sayings and actions of God. Next step. To not see Jesus bringing the divine life of the ages back to you-manity.... is impossible. "I will send Holy Spirit, the same as Me, He will be IN you, guide you into truth and give you explosive power to heal the sick, raise the dead, cast out demons, etc, etc" "Follow Me, the miracles I do, you will do too" "God is IN you" "The Kingdom of God is IN you" "He who meets you, meets Me". "You and I are one" "You will understand that the Father is IN Me and I am in you" "See, I have given you power over all the forces of the enemy" "I have come to give you Zoë (=divine life) in abundance!" Etc, etc, etc. Hence the divine healing miracles and casting out of demons with His first 12+72 friends. As i understood these things, i experienced healing miracles and the casting out of demons already thousands of times and many other true believers do too. Yay! Conclusion of Paul after having revelation and healing all on Malta: "Jesus, the exact image of the invisible God. The fullness of deity dwells in Jesus bodily" and you have been made complete IN Him (the last Adam), who is the head of every principality and power". John (who had seen, touched, heard Jesus and walked in the same power and love): "the invisible God manifested in human form, in Christ and now in us". Thomas having revelation saying to Jesus: "My Lord and My God!". Jesus being God did NOT correct Him. Etc, etc, etc. His life totally proves He is God in human form. Begotten by the Spirit of God, filled with the spirit of God, healing all, raising the dead, casting out demons, controlling nature, raised from the dead, pouring out His Spirit for us to be indwelled by to be empowered to heal the sick and cast out demons, etc, etc, etc. Way to much to degrade Him to "just a prophet". So... Jesus is the manifestation of God in a human body.... "the Son" of God. He came to take the alienation away mankind got trapped in after the fall. He came to give us back the divine life Adam/mankind lost in its fall. Because of this fall, a perfect Holy sacrifice had to be made. That is what God did in Christ! It shows His deep, pure, affectionate passion from Him to you/His creation, to restore you back to origin: Christlikeness. Walking in divine power and unselfish divine love. Jesus walked flawless. Muhammed on the other hand.... Muhammed came after Jesus. He unfortunately never understood God's resolve for mankind's fall, wrote another story, called it the only truth, cutting of the real truth, leading millions astray from their godly identity in Christ. Heartbreaking. But for those who take Jesus for who He is and ask to be filled by His godly Holy Spirit.....: divine life. Tangible presence of God, healings, demons running for cover, etc. Just as with His first 12+72 friends. God will make you experience the full (godly) Life made possible through Holy Spirit. So don't be afraid to leave islam. God can only be found in/through Jesus Christ. Ask Him to fill you with His/God's Holy Spirit so He can guide you into truth and transform your life. You and God/Jesus are finally one again. He will open your eyes and give you Zoë (divine life). You will be growing into Him in all things. The life you see in Him and His first 12+72 friends. I experience it since 25 years and so will you.

Comparison between Jesus and Horus who lived 1000 years before jesus. Christianity and pagan believe are one and the same(copy and paste) Here is the proof: Jesus says, “I and My Father are one. He that seeth Me, seeth Him that sent Me.” Horus says: Horus is the Father seen in the Son. Jesus claims to be the Son in whom the Father is revealed. Horus was the light of the world, the light that is represented by the symbolical eye, the sign of salvation. Jesus is made to declare that He is the light of the world. Horus was the way, the truth, the life by name and in person. Jesus is made to assert that he is the way, the truth, and the life. Horus was the plant, the shoot, the natzar. Jesus is made to say: “I am the true vine.” Horus says: It is I who traverse the heaven; I go round the Sekhet-Arru (the Elysian Fields); Eternity has been assigned to me without end. Lo! I am heir of endless time and my attribute is eternity. Jesus says: ‘I am come down from Heaven. For this is the will of the Father that everyone who beholdeth the Son and believeth in Him should have eternal life, and I will raise him up at the last day.” He, too, claims to be the lord of eternity. Horus says: “I open the Tuat that I may drive away the dark- ness.” Jesus says: “I am come a light unto the world.” Horus says:I am equipped with thy words O Ra (the father in heaven) (ch.32) and repeat them to those who are deprived of breath. (ch.38). These were the words of the father in heaven. Jesus says: ‘The Father which sent me, he hath given me a com- mandment, what I should say and what I should speak. Whatsoever I speak, therefore, even as the Father said unto me, so I speak. The word which ye hear is not mine, but the Father’s which sent me.” A comparative list of some pre-existing types to Christianity shows further how these types were brought on in the canonical Gospels and the Book of Revelation: Horus baptized with water by Anup = Jesus baptized with water by John. The verse that supports the your idea of the trinity is a known forgery of the Bible. It was added in the 1500s by the church. John 5:7,8 is a known forgery of the highest deception. Don't base your salvation on something which has been corrupted so many times.
